So I caught up on the last few episodes.
And absolutely loved Sada and Sai conversations. That anger, frustration, hurt was conveyed so perfectly. Sai was fun. As expected, not being bothered by the fact that she is kidnapped. Vineet is wonderful and had he been Sammy.. Sai-Sam would have been good to watch.
I read a lot of posts with dread saying that they killed Sai Joshi. I agree to it somewhere but I will also like to wait for the actual faceoff between V-Sai.
However, this was expected, that Sai will ask for V's forgiveness going by KD. And I am somewhat okay with the way it has happened. I didn't expect the makers to diverge much from KD based on their past tactics.
Sai is distressed, probably hungry and physically hurt, has been suddenly bombarded with this information. She also sees Sada making good of his threat of killing the informer and saying he will do the same for V. As for V not telling her anything about the mission, it was justified that Aaba didn't tell anything of the mission either. Right now, she is completely invested in V emotionally. She has realised her love and if something happens to V she would be completely heartbroken. At this point, her love has overpowered her self respect. I think her exaggerated reaction of blaming herself for not trusting V is because of all this.
Someone commented that her comparison of vaada to Aaba and Sada is wrong. I don't think so, she knows that for him vaada is most important. And just like her justification for giving divorce, that vaada is the reason she is studying still and in a home. She has already forgiven V for his past misdeeds so i don't believe that she will hold a grudge against him for that.
Sai has always been someone who takes it on facevalue. She doesn't lie and says what is on her mind truthfully. So for her reading the hidden signals is difficult. Everything right from the start of their married life and that godforsaken vaada given to Pakhi is as it mentioned to her, on facevalue... That is also the reason she doesn't believe V loves her because he has never verbalised it.
But she trusts V enough to know when he is speaking the truth. So even though, they didn't show that dialogue in the flashback, V did tell her that there is nothing wrong between him and Shruti. That is why she prefers to not trust Sadas words of them hugging. Also, i have said this before, she knew V didn't cross physical boundary with Pakhi. Earlier her hurt was more because she believed Saahas is V's son. Now that she knows he is not, her faith in V is restored for that part. Her breakdown is also part relief that V didn't fail the relationship and hence her regret for not trusting him. TBH the only good trait in V is this, that he is not getting intimate with any other woman although they are more than willing to do so.
That said, I would still want her to question V once atleast for not trusting her enough. And since this paves way for reconciliation now, i would like to believe that once she calms down, Sai will be cautious of V and his vaada disease.
For the precap today, as much as I hate Sai getting hurt, that's part of Sada s plan, also Sai is to be saviour of V according to an article, and most importantly V only reflects when Sai is in pain. So her getting hurt is the only way he can redeemed. Also him getting hurt will mean the blame would be put solely on her. So hopefully this time it would be a confession on both ends.
I can't believe I am saying this, but probably Vanku will bless us, the ONLINE AUDIENCE with something good on 14 Feb
