Disclaimer : This post is not to acquit Virat of his blunders done in this track to break his marriage ,his relationship with his family and above all his betrayal of his vardi.
This is just to trace the journey of Shriti from Shriti Pawade to Shriti Chavan who played her cards well to achieve her purpose.
Shriti the manipulator : The moment Shriti decided to follow Virat,she started her manipulation. She accused him of murdering her husband which made Virat ,the over emotional Chavan to get into guilty mode. Half the work is done for Shriti for, a man in guilt will go to any extent to redeem himself and it became a win win situation for Shriti.
Acceptance to get tagged as Mrs Chavan:When Virat suggested her to wear Sindur Shriti did not hesitate. In the hotel Virat thoughtless of future consequences and insulting Sai’s status as his wife tagged her as Mrs. Chavan. Again Shriti had no problem. She continued her guilt tripping Virat in the hotel room,showed signs of intolerance when he spoke of his dear wife, accused him again for making her deprived of her husband’s love.
Phone calls unlimited: Any woman with a good heart and fear of god would never have called him as many times as she did that too at night time. She knew he is married and any wife would get miffed if such calls happen at odd hours of night. Shriti didn’t care.
Snubbed the wife: When Sai answered Shriti’s call,Shriti didn’t have the courtesy to speak decently to her,knowing fully well that she is the wife of the man who provided her five star hospital facility for her delivery. She has the audacity to ask Sai to give the phone to her husband. Instead she could have said that she is in labour and need help.
(By the way why should She call Virat if she is having labour pain? Shouldn’t she call the nurse? What would she have done if she delivered in forest and Sada is on some task? Why should she urge Virat to be by her side all the time? Shouldn’t she think she should not cross her limits?)
Getting too familiar and crossing the line: The creepiest scenes of the show,creepier than anything related to Pakhi is Virat holding Shriti’s hand so casually and Shriti allowing him to do so. By this Shriti made progress that she wanted and got closer emotionally,guilt tripping Virat at every chance she got. The tough naxalite needed charming Chavan by her bedside 24/7. His wife and family can go to hell.She took personal interest in engaging him in long conversations without thinking about the propriety of doing so through out night while the wife desperately waited for him to be back home.
Changing tune: next step for Shriti is to show Virat that she realised his greatness and express gratitude which she so nicely did in style.
Officially tying him up with fatherhood.: She told Virat that not only she became mother but he became the father by the birth of Sahas.
She did not think of Sada atleast for a second after her delivery. She purposely reminded Virat that Sahas is Chavan now and not Pawade.
Feigning guilt before Virat: The lady is so clever.
Shriti always made it a point to express her guilt for creating Misunderstandings between Sai and Virat only to be in his good books. Her speech anytime spelling her regret for being the reason is an artifice but nothing else.She has every opportunity to tell truth to Sai but she intentionally didn’t attempt for her own benefit.
Instances where Shriti could tell truth
When Sai saved her life,on that day she asked Sai to listen to her but Pulkit and Sai refused. Later when nurse took money from Sai for sweets and went off , only Virat and Sai are there but Shriti didn’t speak. One line would have helped matters “ Virat is not my husband or father of Sahas.” But Shriti just let the chance pass by.
When CN gang with Bhavani slammed her in hospital then she said aap Galat Soch rahi hai,Aisa Kuch nahi..Instead She could have screamed the truth in one line. She didn’t and nurse is not there by then.
Shriti had no fear of sin or guilt even after knowing Sai left Virat and CN people abused her. She walked with him to the new house without any kind of remorse.
Shriti doesn’t need Virat’s permission to go to her parents but she purposely asked him knowing fully well that he would refuse to let her go. Her work done and how!
Shriti is ungrateful. If she wanted ,she could have easily reached either CN or Nagpur medical college to reveal the truth but she chose not to ,for her own reasons.
Shriti now got used to being referred to as Shriti Chavan. She would never let that go at any cost wtf an innocent girl broke her marriage believing her false facade. Wtf the once famous CN family lost their reputation and their worthy son at the same time! Shriti is too selfish to think about any of them.She wants secured future for her and her son.Thats all it matters.
Sai went to the extent of making false documents to save Virat’sjob.
In contrast Shriti did not move an inch to do the needful. If she is sane,she would have gone to DIG and surrendered herself.
Shriti’s fake concern for Virat is merely a camouflage Of her real intentions.
According to me Pakhi is nothing more than a joker but Shriti truly is the villain in SaiRat story. Not mentioning Virat’s crimes and sins here..( yes he commited sins ) I am too disappointed with him in this track and never support him at any point.
I came across people who refuse to call out Shriti for what she did for obvious reasons but I hold my view intact. I shiver with tension and anxiety when she comes on screen. She is what I presented above,for me. People can agree or disagree.
