May be they want to recreate GC sairat with viruthi. But they are missing huge point I e sai showed virat attitude because she don't like him and she has her reasons for not liking him. And both virat and sai equally gave tashan to each other not like one being submissive and other being dominant. After marriage too we can see sai being reluctant to take virat's money. They showed same with shruti. Missing point is they made shruti shout on virat for not taking care of her after giving big big dialogues like I don't want your help,I am helpless and so on. Sai was never like that. She was always reluctant to virat's help despite being his legally wedded wife. She made sure she does house work in order to compensate for being in that house.
Not sure about Viruthi. But I think they are trying to show her as an independent woman, like you said. But what they don't understand is that here Shruti is the one who needs Virat's help and not the other way around. To usko bad-a*s dikhaane ke liye, they are turning her into an ungrateful and thankless person.
Whenever I see any post even remotely try to defend Virat for what he's doing now it truly makes me sad because that means people are falling for this bechaara mahaan virat narrative that makers are shoving down our throats. I already had an issue with the premise for Sairat marriage. But at least he was a bachelor then. Now hes a married man. He can't go around calling himself someone's fake husband AND taking such a big zimmedari AND hiding this from Sai.
Honestly speaking, I can understand the reason behind their views( and by their I mean the SaiRat and genuine Virat fans, not the few toxic Virat stans who speak ill about other characters). The thing is that when I say, and I say because I still believe so, that Virat is my favourite character and I try to like him when the tracks are good as well as try to understand his pov during the bad tracks, it is because his character in the beginning was brilliant. It was as refreshing of a male lead character as Sai was female lead. So, it feels bad to see him being butchered like that.
Kind of like Sai's fans feel when they see some instants when Sai acts out of character. Which is why I can never bring myself to say truly bad about both of these characters, because they are amazing, just that the makers didn't know how to handle such amazing and beautiful characters.
I absolutely understand that we are sad about his butchering but we cant defend him and accept the crap thrown by makers at us. When Sai is butchered we have called it out but thankfully makers have spared her from the level of butchering Virat has been subjected to.
If there was even a small window to give him benefit of doubt, we could but ij this situation there absolutely ISNT.
I saw his pov when he was upset at Sai with devkit kaand. He had some strong reason to kick her out n he seemed to have genuinely repented
I saw his pov when he got jealous about ajinkya too.
Even in hand holding or yelling at her for Amey kaand it was really his concern for Sai speaking.
But this time theres absolutely no explanation for his behavior. He has no reason to pull the stunts he is and even more so to hide things from his wife.
Insaaniyat, guilt is one thing but pretending to be someones husband and sheltering a criminal is utterly inexcusable.
If he had been dealing with his mixed feelings about Sadas death and projected it on Sai, he'd be wrong but I'd see his pov. But he is himself engaging in dereliction of duty- both as ACP and as husband.
Even if Sai was truly only a deal wife and Shruti was not a Naxalite, theres a certain maryaada and sanctity of marriage which he has broken repeatedly. Just coz hes not having an actual affair doesn't make him worth defense/sympathy. And He keeps on doing this. At least with pp, there were past feelings etc that he needed to get over. With Shruti whats his excuse?! Has he not learnt his lessons about not keeping things from Sai?!
I would have loved for Sairat to be happy n in love but this version of Virat is beyond any logic, rationality.
Not only that she is a freaking criminal who needs to hide her face from society. And she is guilt tripping a police officer for killing her criminal husband. So her big big bashan dialogues are laughworthy. If she has that much self respect, she can easily deny virat's help and show her independence. I seriously hated when she taunted virat for praising his wife. As if her husband is freedom fighter and virat killed him ruthlessly. Not her fault. When virat both as police officer and husband giving her this authority. He loves to be submissive in order to show himself as mahan.Originally posted by: ShipIsSailing

that's actually a point to ponder, will they change the gender of baby, as their was a baby girl in kd born to shruti, here sahas for a girl's name😅
The more I think about it the much bigger fool he is turning out to be 🤣😂🤣
Another brainwave I just had.. Shruti and Sada seems to have assumed Saahas as a boy. What if it's a girl? 😜. Will Virat do 'Saahasi's' kanyadaan too? 🤣🤣🤣
that's actually why i didn't like her character at all , i am big fan of shaffaq but her acting also is not convincing to me, and she is looking poor as compared to her own acting standards. May be due to the track i am not enjoying her acting.Originally posted by: Kumuda-123

And if according to kd if shruti falls for virat that will just be the making of shaffaq the worst character of the show, more than pakhi.

I am tired. Tired of always being disappointed by the makers. I always try to understand the characters, to have a positive outlook, but this show has been ruined to such an extent that now it is near to impossible for me to have anything positive to say.
THIS! I am truly tired of trying to understand Sai and Virat's POV, only to have them give us something else to analyse ( or not) the next week.
I stopped last week, cold turkey. I suddenly had this Eureka moment that this is not going to change😆
Hey everyone read all the comments. Nothing to refute strongly. But I still stick to my unpopular opinion. I don’t like or hate any character. I empathize with them. I understand where both sai and virat are coming from in this plot.
Vankar is trying to join all the dots in their relationship so there will be MUs and some angst. I liked yesterday’s episode and precap. I see only progression. I could sense what he wants to show in this track however I do feel there are better ways he could have handled. But sruthi track is brought now to establish trust! the more drama the better would be the confession
I am not saying virat did the right thing by ignoring his job. He just did what he felt right in that moment given his options. I am the one who said he should give up his office! So not defending him saving a naxalite, just trying to see him as person who put safety of a pregnant woman and child over everything (including himself).
Ps: don’t want to disappoint anyone including myself, but I am hoping Vankar would surprise us with mind blowing confession. 🙃

Aap ke munh mein ghee shakkar.
Also, I just want you to know, that there are times, like these, when most, including me, might not exactly understand how few can still remain positive and hopeful. But that doesn't mean that having an unpopular opinion like yours is something wrong or something which shouldn't be openly discussed with everyone. It is really appreciable to have a positive outlook for things, and most of the time these positive reviews and thoughts are what makes me want to keep coming back here.
All I am saying is that it is quite possible for people to feel left out or even sometimes scared for having an unpopular opinion. So, I wanted you to know that even though sometimes (most of the times) clash of opinions get irritating but such positivity is always appreciated,
