To finally overcome all those insecurities and misunderstandings, everything from the past must be brought and addressed properly to avoid any MU in future. Now with Samrat entry stage is set for big confrontations and clarifications. The two persons who needed answers and clarifications are Sai and Samrat. Both are in similar situations and think that their partner love other person while this is true only in Samrat's case.
Some may feel that Sai is insensitive and is not understandings or registering Virat's actions, hints or words even though he said many times. But her actions are understandable. As per my POV, two incidents which hurt Sai most and made her build walls and resisting to break whatever Virat does are DIG incident and Pakhi leaving CN. In DIG incident, in his fear and pain of losing his job, career and reputation, he said many things which does mean, all his frustrations came out in form of words in front of Sai which wounded her deeply. He addressed Pakhi as his pyaari cheez and told going to Gadcharoli is biggest mistake indirectly telling that marrying her or she herself is his biggest mistake. And then when Pakhi left CN, in that frustration he held Sai responsible for that, said he loves Pakhi and as their marriage is deal and she should not be bothered by this. These are not small words to forget. These caused great damage to their relationship. And Sai needs clear words and Virat was very verbal in expressing his feelings then which actually Sai understands. He doesn't express his problems to anyone not even to Aayi and this is emphasised by aayi's words in the initial days of marriage. For me that is the time where he is going through so much, unacceptance of their marriage by Chavan's, Samrat missing, overcoming his left over feelings/ infactuation towards Pakhi, guilt of breaking his promise to pakhi and some where growing feelings towards Sai. And finally complaint against him and fear of losing his job pushed him to get out all this frustration and he expressed all these only infront of Sai. She pushes him to extremes everytime and he doesn't hesitate to express anything infront of her (ofcourse expressing his love for her is completely different). This is the point where their relationship took major turn. For Virat, Sai's selfless actions like meeting DIG and clearing out his name and bringing back Pakhi by apologising to her without her mistake just for him touched his heart and made him see the real Sai and how beautiful is her heart. At the same time he got to know see Pakhi's intentions. All these made him final overcome his guilt and feelings for Pakhi and move on in his life. This is the last time he spoke about deal and from here Sai engraved that deal word in mind. For Sai, this is the point where she built her walls thick and strong and finally accepted the reality of their deal marriage. Till this point she was still hopeful of making their marriage real but these two incidents made her face reality harshly and made her convinced that he can never love her. She got completely convinced that their marriage is deal, he loves Pakhi and will never break his promise to her of loving any other girl. This is the reason why she never believes even she wants to that he loves her or she is special one to him.
Even there is no mistake of Sai in all these, whenever she forgets everything and tries move on, she is brought back to reality. Bet it ladakh incident or ousting or pool side fight. Because of all these they progressed in their relationship but she could not forget his past. She can sense the changing dynamics of their relationship and his feelings towards her or her own feelings for him but she is refusing to acknowledge all these in fear of breaking her heart after developing hope. She is fearing for a heart break. She is in two minds, one she knows that he loves her and she also loves him, even gives in momentarily sometimes, other is his Vaada, deal and his love for Pakhi. Her harsh words towards him is her defence mechanisms. She is herself confused and has no one talk about all these openly who can listen without any biasedness. And presence of Pakhi under the same roof, her constant interference in their life and she boldly expressing her love for Virat will never let her forget his past and move on. Even when he does something special out of love, she thinks that this is out his zimmedari to keep her heart safe and even Virat uses this word to make her accept his doings. She is still thinking she came in between them and he is not fulfilling his commitment towards Pakhi because of her. She has become hindrance their love story.
She feels happy whenever he does something for her. She puts him in a pedestal. He is very important to her. She is effected by and reacts for his each and every mood or action. Only Virat does this to her. His happiness, pain and tears everything matters to her a lot even though she doesn't acknowledge even to herself. She could never ever lose him. When she feels that he is giving up on their relationship, she pushes him indirectly to not to do so. She repeatedly tells that this marriage is deal and will leave him. All these are for own sake to make her guarded and not to forget and give in and later face heartbreak. She many times tells that our relationship would be different if their marriage is real because she wants their marriage to be real.
Now the story has become more interesting. Now Sai has to face her demons and insecurities which she is avoiding till now. Now she has to face her fears. She will be pushed to acknowledge each and everything. She has to bring down her walls and accept what is real now. Till now she knows subconsciously that she is special to him but time has come to acknowledge all these. She has to fight with her feelings towards him, clear her confusion and acknowledge his love for her.
Whereas Virat, for him, Pakhi is no more relevant. For him he has already cleared about his commitment to Sai. Pakhi is no where in the picture. So he is not understanding what Sai is going through. He is only thinking about his love for her. He is not able to express in fear of rejection and more worst her leaving him which he can't take at any cost. He is rather happy in hiding his feelings that losing her. He is trying to understand her and guage her feelings from the vaada track. He is trying to understand where he stands in her life. Till now he knows he is special and important person in her life. She even expressed this by her actions and words many times. But she never gave any hint what she thinks about him as per life partner because she herself is confused about. He has tried many time to hint her and tell her indirectly about his feelings. For him to understand Sai state he has to recall all his words which he said to her even though he regrets telling all those to her. With Samrat's return things will become more complicated. If her expresses now she may take it that he is doing all these for Pakhi to move on with his brother and not because he actually loves her. He has completely lost the chance of confessing first. He has to take back seat.
When Virat gives up of confessing and takes back seat, Sai will realise her feelings. Whenever he gives up she reacts. Sai will realise her feelings only when she feels that she may lose him forever like how Virat realised his feelings. She should understand that how she his priority.
Their journey will be interesting to watch. Waiting to see how their love story will unfold.
