If she calls Bhavani on stage that is not to prove herself mahan but to please Bhavani who was hurt due to the way she handled the challenge.

Ayesha understood Sai. That is why she is playing the part so well without making herself look like Mahan.

Exactly 🤗 I know what it feels to not have someone who is responsible for your growth.. The growth seems baseless... Unse nahi mila toh kya faayda is growth ka..

The only issue is that the CNs do not deserve that much respect from her.. not Kaku.. But she is doing it for Virat and knows how much Virat loves and respects Kaku..

Mahan was something that I brought up in the thread... ANd hence had to explain.. Sai forgets and forgives, but does not put people who are not good on pedestal.. Just the other day when she gets gifts for everyone , she did mention how she loves Kaku as much as Kaku loves her and hence no gift. I love that Sai.. She is fine with her, but does not hold her on pedestal. This Sai and this definition of FL for ITV is not something that I agree with.. Sai is Mahan in the making, if they dont stop here and not Mahan already. To me it looked like she is trying to adjust and get accepted by the CN bade, as suggested by Virat. SHe has a heart of gold...thats undebatable and hence her forgiving nature..

Sai has been shown to be gracious to her enemies. That felt to be an authentic and endearing part of her character. But this whole thanking Pakhi and getting award from Bhavani is so unrealistic that it is cringy.

Sai was never the one to keep grudges - but she was also pretty clear-headed about people's intentions towards her. In the chilli grinding scene - she recognised the lack of humanity in the Chavan elders and was unapologetic about not trying to win their favour. That was the Sai I loved.

I know Ayesha spoke about Sai's character undergoing a development, but IMO it is character butchering that is going on.

It's time ITV stopped glorifying 'forgiving the abusive in-laws' type heroine. Not only is it unrealistic, it is regressive and insincere.

On a whole, she can be a rebel queen for the cause but not for creating a cause.

I agree with you completely. The main problem here is if the Chavans are worthy of her love. If it had been a family who were orthodox people who disliked her or were petty, or even slightly selfish, I can understand. But the Chavans are criminals. They bullied her, abused her, instigated Virat against her, caused her to breakdown out of sheer mental torture. As you said - they loved to harass her. One can only try to win the hearts of those who have a heart - only then is it worth it. Trying to win the heart of those who cause you harm is unrealistic. Which makes me think it was for the sole purpose of whitewashing the Chavans and to show Hum Saath Saath Hain.

Chavans are inhuman and abusive but Sai has reasons to try and win their hearts. She is not sure but she want to give it a trial to see not only because Virat said so but also she desired a peaceful life ahead. So we can’t generalise and apply the rule that one should not try to win worthless people. Sai’s magnanimity also enables her to forgive and forget.

I loved how she talked about aai first. Good she asked sorry on stage itself otherwise a big drama would have happened in zillent area. From aaba to harini she covered every person in her thank u speech 😂. Her excitement & happiness shows more than the award she loves the idea that she has whole family infront of her eyes to cheer for her. Overall whole family except pakhi enjoyed her college function as she wanted.

Yes, she is not mahan but she definitely don't want to stretch any issues.
