Sai-Virat confrontation after ladakh trip

I was rewatching few episodes on weekend and 15th february episode is a turning point episode both in sai-virat progression and pakhi-virat regression (haha). But I still dont understand why Sai and Virat after laying down their insecurities bare in front of each other could not grasp the depth of feelings for each other.

Sai's open confession that it is his commitment that made her not accept him as husband is direct answer to his question why she does not see him as her husband.

I know Virat's answers are jilebis here but what stopped Virat from seeing her insecurities in that one 'direct' confrontation? Sai cant read him but he is good at reading people so he should have just understood her pain. It was so nicely put down by her. She also says she doesnt blame her fate, she accepted it. It is like she was expressing him that ' I am so lucky I got you, but you see how fate has turned it for me. I cannot love you because you told me so'. It was very revealing for me.

Khair humara IPS topper tho cheat karke paas hue hain. Itna dhimag kahan hain. Haah if he would have understood then itself, there will be no story forward :)

Atleast after this episode, Virat knows Sai is not comfortable with his past and he started being more expressive in his actions towards Sai. Not that this confrontation did not change the dynamics for good but this confrontation was just enough to know their feelings...atleast Virat should have known.

the ladakh trip confrontation was indeed a turning point in their relationship

sai is holding herself due to virat's one stupid commitment that he made one could see the pain in her eyes that even though he belongs to her but cannot love him or keep any expectations from him,its not easy for her thus she has created a wall around her heart and also very conscious and cautious when it comes to virat,sai needs proofs and verbal confession

virat he is an highly emotional guy and has difficulty in expressing his feelings furthermore he is attracted towards her and its leading in falling in love with her,he is confused himself and doesn't understand his own feelings. He is a person who likes to hide his feelings within himself ,for sai to accept him he needs to tell her verbally that he has nothing to do with didi and he only belongs to her

Though at one point when she says 'aur na maine aisi koi umeed rakhi, jo aap mujhe ek paati ki hasiyaat se nahi de sakte' or something along those lines, his expression at that statement looked like he understood that she is stopping herself only due to what he said to her about his commitment at the time of wedding.

Exactly!! that statement is very revealing. She says others girls would 'blame' their fate. One could see her pain. Ayesha enacted it very well. If our tubelight was in working condition, that was a right moment for a tight hug.!!

May be writers misplaced Ayesha's dialogues. Too early in the story progression. But this episode is the best episode for me till now...content wise and acting wise.

I think he was more in shock that how can she say all this when my actions speak for themselves. And also this invalidates the little things that he has done for her.

I think when someone directly confronts the truth. The first thing the person does is to think how can they things to me and also the shock factor

I think he only held himself back because he’s scared of rejection, they’re going in circles, he can’t say/do anything because of his fear of rejection as he sees Sai’s indifference towards him, and Sai is indifferent because of the “promise.” She can’t say/do anything because she genuinely thinks that he loves and will only ever love Pakhi.

I agree they are in catch 22 as Sukri said above but this particular episode was not. The emotions were clear and perfect to break the loop. But anyways it did clear up few things between them.

what this episode showed is ‘communication is key in any marriage’ 😂

True I loved the entire fight and have seen it many times, maybe we can get a calmer version of the same arguments in later episodes. It will be nicer to see how Virat will react, if he can say something then.
