Sai's college dance - meh! :(

I love Sai joshi. I want to be her friend! I think shes real, brave, smart, spunky, funny, loyal, fierce. Today for the first time i didnt fully enjoy/ connect with the Sai i saw. Up until lunch scene it was sll good.

But i felt that today her college dance needed better choreography and i didn't see the point of her saying ki hum college padhayi karne aate hai ye sab nahi, picking a fight with those girls and literally next minute dancing in the corridor! Her dance in college was still not as cringeworthy as toxic didi in a trance. But as a stand alone i didnt particularly like Sai's college dance either. But From precap thankfully i'm glad that Sais dance that Virat sees is much better choreographed. Its so much more graceful, good choice of song.

While i think its very realistic that she may find people taunt her over being "married" and "behenji/aunty" and they could have dwelt a little more on it in a separate episode. Maybe for a change they could have shown her become silent after being teased as aunty/behenji and come home upset. Virat finding out about what happened and cheering her up or asking how come she didnt give it back to college peeps like she does to CM gang. Sai could reply saying its easier to retort back in CM coz they are wrong but the words of the college girls may hit her hard because its "kinda true". While its none of their business if shes married etc, Sai probably stays sloof only studying and stands out as the only married person in her mangalsutra etc . and eventually Virat may understand or Sai may confess that she feels too much pressure because of her situation. For Sai, virat married her to support her dream of being a doctor. So she knows that shes got to meet not only aaba but Virats expectations too and she does not want to let him down. Because if she doesn't do well in her exams, the family will taunt Sai and virat too for supporting her education. So in the process she is forgetting to have fun and be a regular college girl. this could all be brought up and addressed in a nice long Sairat conversation. And maybe a few episodes later if someone teases her as behenji she can give them a witty comeback.

Lost potential by CVs again for a good new Sairat scene. They converted a scene that had much potential into a 2 min pointless conversation.

I agree with her dance being kind of funny, but as some people said, it was more of her letting loose from what she has been going through since her father's death and entering Chavan mansion. It could have been executed much better but CV's lack creativity and made it kind of out of place. They could have had an audition where she performed and got selected. I was really hoping for a similar scene from the movie Pitch Perfect where Beca auditions and gets selected for her cup song. They could have done something similar like that, but with dance.

Oh yes .. I want realistic scenes like this .. there is scope for SAirat bonding .. virat may MU that he has bound a young girl to him .. who wants to go out and be like a free college girl .. but right now is stuck to his home and hearth ..

Whereas Sai is talking about weighted down by his expectations..

there will be issues like this when any girl gets married in first year college .. this is 2021.. students will tease her ..

I also want scenes like she forcing virat to take her shopping for trendy clothes .. which may be simple palazzos with kurtis .. where she tries out different clothes and virat gives his opinion

there she meets a few of her college mates ( girls ) and they start flirting with virat .. and virat flirts back . and Sai retorts he is my husband back off..Or it can also be Sai pulls him along abd does PDA infront of girls to show he is her property

Sai is not an innocent fish ..

Very weĺl said she was just against all these activities just after fraction of a second she started a solo dance... and mainly this out of the blue dance did not suit Sai character the girl she's though she's only 18 yrs old. CV'S should have thought well before adding it.

Actually Sai's unconscious burden of living up to Virats expectations in terms of her studies is a great Sairst scene idea for future. Virat's guilt of placing this pressure/burden on her unknowingly, comforting her that he is always proud of her and it does not depend on her marks in an exam. And letting her know that he took responsibility for ALL of her, education is only a part of it. So it would make him happy to see her sing/dance and enjoy her college life in addition to excelling in her studies.

Todays episode tried to address many of these things i raised but unfortunately because of the mutual jealousy i dont know if they paid attention to each others words carefully enough.

Virat's expression changed mildly when Sai said people teased her for being married and for only studying in college! So i hope he dwells on it a little more.

Sai also confessed hows she had to "change" . So far these changes have only made her stressed out. I hope he realizes that.

And by taking Sai out , listening to music etc he will himself also feel very relaxed.

Todays episode was SO much better and full of Sairat . I wish it had remained strictly between them though and didn't escalate to virat screaming loud enough that everyone could hear him call for PP!

Sai makes Virat behave so "out of character" or rather this is the real Virat that only comes out due to Sai's presence.

True. Imagine u are sitting behind a smart guy in the exam, and copying his answer sheet, but u can’t see some lines properly so u leave those out & copy the rest. Would u have a complete coherent answer on your sheet? Thats exactly what the CVs have given us 🙄😠

I hope they follow up these discussions regarding Sai's pressure to meet Virat's expectations because she cares SO much about his opinion and about making him proud of her . It'll be another great scene.
