Agreed. I understand that he is under a lot of pressure and he does not like to see Sai treated that way but its not Sai's fault. I always feel that Sai is so lonely and such behavior pushes her away even more.

I am very biased towards Sai because I see myself in her. I am not married so no clue about this sasural nonsense but i know what it is to take trash from ppl and trust me its a shit feeling. Now that I give it back to them equally, nobody messes with me. And I would rather fight such people than ever be treated that way let them use me emotionally.

Im not against the show... Coz lets b honest, since this OTT drama has begun, trps have shot up like anything. It means people are liking it. But personally... I feel overwhelmed by such toxicity 🤢

If its his feelings, then did he ever think of the feelings of a 18 year old, what all she has gone through in addition we have his "Dosti" which she has to bear everyday.

Her behavior can be questionable no doubt, but taking it for granted that she would not feel bad is not right.

Sai is hurting, obviously, she is hurting a lot.

He knows she is hurting and from today's scene you could literally see that he did not want to do this. Even before the whole marriage, her being hurt really hurt him - the scene where she pushed his hands, the scene where she was crying by the funeral pyre, her indifference when he came to say that he is leaving.

Somehow her being hurt hurts him as well. More so, because he recognises that she is bearing a the crap for him, and because of him. He married her to provide her a physical shelter in a home and an emotional shelter which he probably thought his family would be for her. But, its not happening his way. I guess he thought that they'd get used to her and even if they do not get along they'll learn to live with each other - kind of like it was with Karishma. However, Sai is no Karishma, she gives back, and rightly so, in turn the elders gets riled up even more and insults her. The fact that he cannot shelter her everytime as he feels he should have must hurt somewhere.

Virat himself has been going through a lot. By, saying this I do not mean that Sai is not suffering, I just want to bring out that they both are, maybe to a different level, maybe in a different way, but they both are. I mean come on who would want to come home to people fighting, insulting each other. Whatever it is, whoever wins or lose the living room fight, at the end of the day he has to do the placating thing, he is always the one bound to lose.

Adding to that, I think we've talked to length about how Virat tends to repress his feelings a lot. He keeps it all bottled up, tries to put his point across by being calm but most of the times things do not go his way. He still remains silent, but you can see the frustration in the way he sighs, close his eyes, presses his forehead or even the tears. He was always going to burst, its just that Sai has that ability to push his buttons at the worst time and she was in front of him, so it all came out on her. (Speaking only till the end of today's epi.) Everyday post their marriage, there is a drama, fight so it was building up, not just coz of Sai but also because of the family as well. Sai just happens to be the unfortunate one in front of him.

Moreover the family is not kind to him as well, his father said he was ashamed of him (), the rest keeps on forcing him to 'control' his wife which he does not want to.

Bottom line, he is hurting and she is hurting and fandom is hurting because they are hurting themselves by hurting each other😆
