Comparisons began...what will happen next??

SaiRat reception arrangements were astonishing but Karishma became so upset because such a splendorous celebration wasn't organized when she entered the house after marrying Mohit. Samrat-Pakhi wedding reception also didn't take place because the groom decided to leave the house the very next day of his wedding for his own mental sanity. Samrat-Pakhi wedding was organized by Pakhi's parents. So this must be the first party organized by Chavans after Karishma started living with them. We don't know much about Karishma, her family background, studies, how she met Mohit etc. etc. but we sure now know she's a kind of upset and jealous as well seeing SaiRat's grand reception organized by Ashwini. Karishma started making comparisons between Mohit & Virat. How Virat is an IPS officer whereas Mohit is still working with small roles. 😆She pointed out how Virat stood for Sai unlike Mohit when Bhavani kaku spoke against her. She's even upset with her in-laws & tried to mention the difference between her mother-in-law & Ashwini kaku who's doing a lot for her daughter-in-law & son.

I felt a little bit bad for Karishma because she's young and comparing her life to another girl's (who is a daughter-in-law of the house just like her) of almost the same age group is bound to happen and she too deserves love & support from her in-laws and family. But little she knows about Sai's struggles & achievements. Because right from Day 1 Sai is being criticized & called names but who has cared about what she really underwent through and what she really is. Will Karishma be even 1% of Sai if both their places get swapped from Gadchiroli days?? Can Mohit be a strong, brave & intelligent IPS officer like Virat??

These comparisons can intensify when Sai starts going to the medical college. But what impact will it have overall on SaiRat life?? Will Pakhi too start comparing her life with Sai's in due course of time?? How will Sai overcome all these obstacles? What will Virat do to protect Sai from all this?

Since I saw the episode this morning, I have had these same thoughts on my mind. It was a window to the minds of so many from Bhavani's Makad Sena that mindlessly follows her or so it seems.

Karishma's jealously is justified and sounds real. She is the one who will now keep reminding Mohit how he's short-changed and not given the same respect as the other son of the Chavan family (Samrat, technically, is not even the 'son' of the vansh but has better respect).

Omkar and Sonali envy and feel that Virat is the apple of everyone's eye so their son never received the same love. But they haven't been able to express their displeasure, because unlike Ashwini, they feel obliged to side with Bhavani at all times. However, Virat's marriage and sown the seed for the family discord. It was all smooth until there was no parameter to compare. Now there is. In the future, it is this gang that will create trouble where there will be none because they will feel insecure with the power centre changing.

So far, there has been no one to speak up to Bhavani. Her word is gospel truth and unbreakable command. So naturally there wasn't any mutiny either. But now, with Bhavani's authority under question and with the so-called heir apparent of the family (Virat) being seen the one challenging the power centre, those who have been fence sitting for benefits will obviously be apprehensive and want to resist the change.

The fact is that both Virat and Sai are ultimately going to emerge as the most deserving of the lot to carry forward the legacy given their tenacity to deal with situations as well as their value sustem of integrity and justice.

I felt a tiny bit sad for Karishma today however, in analysing the character she has done nothing much to help herself. She has literally been, a gossip, busy-body and inciter. Has she ever expressed her desire to be anything than someone who sits around the house looking out for the next upheaval?

Yes the comparisons are going to get worse and Karishma is going to feel more and more insecure. Her mother-in-law is involving her in kitchen politics by telling her they have to get Sayi under control and she simply agreed with a nod. The girl is not building a strong case as someone who really wants the best for herself or her husband. She also strikes me as a girl who married a guy from a rich family believing it would've been beds of roses.

Honestly, I can tell that even if she was a loved bahu like pakhi of the house, she would still be the exact same... bitchy, wanting gossip material and being two-faced.

I think karishma reasoning was wrong .. it wasn’t because virat is ips but because of ashwini arranged it..

Exactly! Bhavani didn't arrange any such functions for karishma and mohit, and neither did she care to do so for sai and virat as they are not marriages that were done with her blessing, and unlike karishma's saas who is a completely chamchi of bhavani, sai's saas is not a sheep of bhavani and doesn't fear her so that's why she kept a reception herself without bhavani's permission. I'm sure if samrat had not left bhavani would have arranged a very grand reception for samrat and pakhi.

I agree!! Karishma would still be the same. She thrives on dramatics and sits back and enjoys the show.
