Assuming Virat-Pakhi get married...

Let's imagine this scenario:

By some divine intervention Samrat returns back to Chavan Nivas and knowing Pakhi is hopelessly in love with his brother Virat, makes a decision to dissolve his marriage with Pakhi. And Sai on the other hand does the same with Virat. (We all know that both Sai and Samrat are immature just like all of us ).

Sai and Samrat being immature decides to help Virat Pakhi get together. What is going to happen next?

Their relationship lacks faith and trust - crucial ingredients to make a relationship successful. The main pillar of their relationship is already so weak, how will they survive a sacred union of marriage (Pakhi blocking Virat's number the very moment he was not able to recognize her voice speaks volumes about her underlying personality traits. She assumed he did not save her number, got upset and mad and blocked him)

Even if both get married Pakhi will never completely trust Virat. She will be that controlling wife that will expect Virat go repot back to her every minute that he is away from her. Will Virat be able to do that? Knowing how Virat is very emotional and his habbit of making vaada, it is going to create another layer of issues in Virat-Pakhi's already rocky toxic relationship.

Pakhi seems to have this image of blessed life with bed of rosses with Virat. However that may not be the reality. As both Virat and Pakhi seems to be on different wavelengths. Pakhi seems be all about her happiness and her feelings. Virat on the other hand cares more about others happiness- but always creates a blunder and ends up hurting the person he is trying to make happy.

We sometimes build an imaginary world and how our life will turn out - specially with a person we think we are in love with. But reality is completely something else.

Will Virat and Pakhi be able to survive their marriage?

Would love to hear everyone's thoughts.

their relationship may not survive for a long time. because love needs freedom and space which pakhi will never give ( not judging but just by following her basic traits we can say that) and virat is a man who shares his love with everyone equally (we've watched his love for aai and respect for kaku and balancing both without hurting anyone ) and he holds equal prominence for each family member in his heart, unlike pakhi who is obsessed just about him.

if wedding happens then pakhi turns even more insecure just like we've seen her asking agaib and again about sai when he was in gadchiroli and virat being a man who keeps everything to himself. he compresses everything and one day boom everything turns into ashes

for him love is respect and care, for pakhi love is obsession.

it's just my opinion and perspective it may vary from one person to another...

(was discussing about this the other day)

bottom line I can't assure about SaiRat but Pakhi and Virat are just not meant to be together forever... they're not the ones who can take their relationship forward in a long run.

@bold: you said it beautifully about freedom. Love cannot be caged. At the rate she is going and if she continues it will end up hurting her more. She is hurting her self more each day. If this were real life I would truly fear for her mental health. As the obsession like this can destroy a person.

Also right about SaiRat. Even though everyone is rooting for them to be together only time will tell what their relationship is going to be like. Only way to access will be to see their interactions when they are alone.

Well, if they are to get married, I wouldn't be here to watch 🤣🤣

Liking someone based on looks is easy, but sharing the same space as them, breathing the same air as them and not, you know, wanting to annihilate them😆, might need more than attraction.

But, to assume they'd get married, i'd have to assume that Virat would be willing to let Sai go, which seems too far fetched now.🤣

@bold: So right!! When I hear the line "tomko dekhte he mujse tumse mohabbat ho gaye. Let's get married" I really have to evaluate the person saying that. Yes I am flattered to know that but what about compatibility, understanding, maturity, faith trust. If the look of person is what made you fall in love with them in first place what are the chances that that person will drop you the moment someone else comes along.

Relationships specially a marriage should be based on more important factors than just looks. In Virat Pakhi case the attraction was based on looks (per my observation) and now that attraction has turned into one sided obsession. Pakhi reminds me of Aadeel from Gul-e-Rana, where he was obsessed with her and forced her at gunpoint to marry him (he did not love her but the fact she was not crazy about him like other girls and also she was coy and obedient made him think he could control her...but that is another story all together). Now for Pakhi, Virat is a price she needs to win at any cost.

I think Virat and Pakhi and just human beings in general give too much importance to love. Yes, love is required but there are things which are FAR MORE important like respect, trust, emotional and intellectual compatibility, world view, etc. All Virat and Pakhi have is feelings for each other. They don't know each other enough to even understand if they're compatible.

Sai and Virat don't have feelings but they already have respect and trust and in the days to come they'll even develop compatibility.

I could not go past episode 1 of Gul-e-Rana because of Adeel.🤢

I remember I watched a show where a woman told the ML that she fell in love at first sight with him. The male lead was quick to counter saying that love at first sight is an illusion. He told her not to believe anyone who says that to you because that's a quick way to get you in bed.

I mean this is exactly what is being portrayed here. Such relationship normally have nothing to hold on to, no foundation.
