How is the Chavan family so rich?

From what I can see, the main source of income for the Chavan family is:

- Nagesh Chavan's pension

- Ninad Chavan's pension (but since he took premature retirement, he won't get too much)

- Samrat Salunkhe's income (Major's income is about 70-80K per month)

- Virat Chavan's income (Around 50-60K)

Do Sonali's husband and Mohit work?

Any idea what Pakhi's career was??

This family has to feed Bhavani, Ashwini, Ninad, Ninad's brother, Sonali, Mohit, Karishma, Mansi, Devyani, Shivani and now Pakhi also. MIND BLOWN.

My dad is in the Army and lol, the pension is great but only for a family of 3-4. How can a monthly income of roughly about 4-5 lakhs be enough for such a lavish lifestyle?

Maybe they have khandani properties/rental incomes. Could come from old money too. Maybe they have rich ancestors.

The way Bhawani behaves and the “Chavan” khandan tag do point to them being rich in general.

I think when they were fixing the wedding of sam and pakhi bhavani mentioned they were well off so despite her hubby and ninand being in the army and police and sam and virat as well the family has additional business so they seem rich lol have you seen the house and so many people living there these people are definitely rich lol

I think they are khandani rich and have a lot of ancestral property. They might have invested so these people get interest and income from that.

In serials, the family who's all strict, traditional, follows customs etc have two things in common-

1. A family head who'll take all the decisions. Even if he/she is wrong, no one dares to go against the head's wish. Sometimes it's shown as fear and sometimes it is out of respect

2. Such family should be rich. After all, being so traditional, how can they not be rich? And they'll obviously live in a mansion

Jokes apart, I think they are living in their ancestral house. Seems like they have lot of property too. I dont think Karishma or her husband earns well enough to contribute to that house's finance.

Pakhi- I think she's interested in yoga but not sure if she had any career. All I remember is that she loves yoga abd travelling.

Also, virat joined his duty recently. So I dont think he contributes to that lavish lifestyle too 😆
