You are right. this is the result of rush. They could have show proper back story of Rangeela how and why he became ghulaam. but CVs ko tho show ko love story and love triangle bana tha tho yeh sab tho hoga hi na

But according to WU there are few scenes that need to be avoided if your not shipping something so mein bas Rangeela k scenes dekhne wali hun😳 there is abosultely no confusion when comes to Param's work...he has never dissapointed👏

Its not late yet, they can work on HIS background story eliminating the love factor entirely and wish his revolt story isn't limited to the movie way out
