I will never forgive them

Twinkle Bajpai lets off steam after her 'ouster' from the soap Ghar Ki Laxmi Betiyaan and her break-up

She has been accused of firing her mouth too often and she doesn't intend to be different either.

"I follow the dictum of tit for tat. If people expect me to keep my mouth shut and take their nonsense in my stride then they are sadly mistaken," says Twinkle.

Obviously, she is referring to her ouster from the popular soap Ghar Ki Laxmi Betiyaan. Accused of an attitude problem and lack of commitment, she was unceremoniously replaced by Gunjan. "I was giving 16 hours everyday to the show. How much more committed can I be? There were times when they would make me wait for eight hours without taking a single shot," she fumes, adding, "Even while shooting, there was no peace around as the production people would be joking around. My character was that of a serious girl and I needed to concentrate on it. There were times when I would have to tell them to shut up because I simply couldn't take it," she adds. It has been alleged that she would use foul language with them. "That's not true at all," she counters. Money was said to be another issue. "Yes, they were not paying me good money. I was giving my all to the show, doing risky scenes too. Like for a scene, I agreed to ride a horse and fell off it. To date, I have a severe back problem due to it. Despite that, they were not agreeing to give me a raise which I felt I rightly deserved," she says.

She reveals the way she was ousted. "I had sent a letter to the production team about the problems I was having. Then they replaced me without informing me. I learnt about the change when a journalist called up to confirm the news."

Her professional life has picked up but her personal issues still remain unresolved. There were stories of her affair with co-star Yuvraj Malhotra. In fact, Yuvraj had even admitted to the relationship "We were friends. But his admission about an affair came as a shock to me. That's the reason, I stopped talking to him."

It was said that she refused to hug him for a scene "Yes, I did. We had problems and I didn't want to hug him. I could have done the scene with anyone but not him. Today we are not on talking terms," is her firm answer.

she did suffer, she took her work ore seriously than others on the set. Hopefully she finds a better project to work on. 😃

ok fine I'll give her the benefit of doubt...but I still remember sa re ga ma
days...she was very disrespectful and rude about being voted off! So..if
the production house blames her for being rude and getting rid of her I
don't blame them...I guess that's y they teach manners and respect the
most in schools here:s...bc that's hat employers look for most here.....

I absolutely loved Twinkle as Lakshmi, but at this point, Twinkle needs to
rein it in and stop talking about it. She's made her point, and many viewers,
including myself, believe her. Twinkle has a wonderful role in an even
bigger show. Life goes on, though feelings may not.

Secondly, we've been given multiple examples of how the production houses
behave, react, and act. Actors are pretty much disposable in their eyes, and
that is a shame. But I'm not surprised with their complex---they control
the direction of the show and what or who does not work is removed. That is
POWER and POWER is intoxicating.

Twinkle is just a shroud operator...I bet she was offered KSBKBT and couldn't refuse...and is now bad mouthing the GKLB to look good! I watched her on Ek Main Or Ek Tu and just hated her attitude...she was such a drama queen!!

Seriously, this girl seems to have a problem with everyone. I tend to think it's her attitude that creates all this drama around her, not the other way around as she'd like us all to believe.

Twinkle, I suspect, is a greater actress when giving interviews too. She talks
about being on the set 16 hours. How many times was that really, because
she keeps bringing it up?

I knew she wasn't the most pleasant of people, but some of your comments
are interesting to hear. At the end of the day, unless she gets herself kicked
off the new show, she'll do well.

But burn them bridges down Twinkle...go on. It's better to keep your mouth
shut--as this is real life.

She said she was having problems with Yuvraj and refused to hug him......but she should have been professional....you can not let personal problems come in the way of work!.

Her character was married to Yuvraj's character.

I just find that comment to reflect her unprofessional attitude towards work.
