Dec 31th Written Update

Surya is lying on the bed and the whole family is talking to the doctor. Saras asks Shitij how they'll get so much money. The doctor tells them abt a doc in Mumbai who handled other cases like Surya's and can cure him. The doctor gives the card to contact the other doc. The doc leaves and in the main room Lax asks Shitij where they can get so much money. She sees Karan in the doorway of the house with an officer and she asks Karan he dare come here. She says to understand that you cant hurt Surya. She start shouting at him and Shitij agrees with her. Lax tells him to leave and not show his face to this family or hurt Surya. Shitij grabs Karan's collar and the officer stops him. The officer tells them that they should thank Karan cause we all tried, but Karan didn't loose faith and the only reason Surya is here is cause of Karan. The officer tells them how it was impossible to find where Surya was. Shitij asks that why didn't Karan tell us and just stood there listening to us. He calls Karan inside and says that by bringing Surya back you realized your mistake. Lax still looks angry so Karan asks Shitij to take care of Surya and leaves.

Menka's room
Menka us wearing a nice sari and puts on her bindi and mangulsutra she remembers how everyone praised Sav. As she puts her sindoor on she remembers Sav's faith that Surya is alive, and thinks why cant she be like her. She questions herself and asks why it didn't come in her heart. She thinks that there's no answer and cries.

Another room
Lax sees on the calender that it's Dec 31th. She tells her sisters and how we'll welcome the new yr by being sad. Durga says that we should celebrate. Lax says we should pray for the new yr to be good and Saras agrees.

Menka walks in the living room and it's all decorated with balloons. She calls everyone and they all wonder who did it. The 4 girls come with Surya in his wheelchair and say that we did it. Baa says why celebrate during a sad time, so Lax explains why they should celebrate and Saras says we should pray for the new yr to be good, and shouldn't be sad cause Surya was found. Yuv comes and says they're right and says happy new year to everyone. He asks Baa, Sav and Menka to forgive him and he wants to start the new year repenting for his mistakes. He says it was a huge mistake throwing them out of the house.. He asks if they can celebrate and bring back the old days. Baa says we'll start the new year with Surya. She touches Surya face and says happy new year. Sav takes his blessing and then the whole family says happy new year to Surya and to each other. Yuv thinks that only Kajri is missing.

At the hotel
Dev tells Kajri that he's happy shes spending new year with him and the last yr was the best cause he found her. Kajri's phone starts ringing and she hangs up when she sees that it's Yuv. Yuv wonders why she did so and thinks that maybe she's angry at him. Dev asks what happened so she say nothing and shakes his hand and says happy new year. Kajri says th last year was great for her also cause she met him. Dev takes a box out of his pocket and it has a diamond ring.He holds it in front of her and she thanks him.

Saras' house
Everyone is having fun while a song plays. They all feed each other cake. Meanwhile, Karan is at his house and holds Lax's photo and says that he's not with her on this new year but can wish her.

Baa touches Surya's cheek and Yuv looks atSurya and remembers & a nice time.

Karan's house
Karan thinks that he snatched everything from Lax.

Durga and Gauri feed baa cake and take her blessings. The party goes on and everyone keeps feeding each other cake and hugging each other. Sav tries to feed Surya cake.

Karan keeps talking to Lax's photo and says knows that he can't be a part of her life.He says happy new year to her andholds the photo against his chest while the whole family continues having fun at Saras's house

Precap: Baa praises Sav and says she's the only one who had faith that Surya is alive.Menka looks very angry and Baa hugs Sav.

I knew Lakshmi will never admit that Karan is changing--she's too damn proud and I hope it comes back to haunt her.
It's amazing how little Karan means to her, that she barely thinks of him. I think at this point Karan should sign the divorce papers and have them delivered to her. (I know they'll reunite; it's just that this situation has to move along). If Lakshmi feels nothing, she'll proceed with the divorce.

BTW, I really, really hate her. B***h is too proud to love someone worthy of it. 😡 😡 I've said it many times in my responses, that is her Achilles Heal--pride.
Also did you notice how none of the Garodias truly thanked him. This family ain't worth the effort, Karan. Run, Karan and find a girl that is worthy of you.
