Why not end the show when storyline is complete?

Why do they have to wait for the TRPs of the popular show to fall and the show to be forcefully taken of air rather than making the storyline proceed gracefully and take the show off air in a proper manner and when they have completed the story?

This seems to be a problem with all Indian shows. They would rather show garbage to extend the story of the show???? Which I do not understand.

The good old days of Buniyaad, Hum log were a lot better with each show ending when the storyline was completed.

i totally agree with u. DD's shows were great....humlog, buniyad, farmaan, dekh bhai dekh etc.

i totally agree. just can't rationalize why they have to wait till they are told to end the serials.....

Cuz they are greedy....they'll just keep milking the show for all its worth til it drags and drags and needs to be beaten to death. I personally like shows that have a certain number of episodes. The end should be determined even before the show starts.

They have worn down this show so much and need an extension for more stupidness. beyond idiotic.

If the new show needed time....Then repeat the good shows that left until the new one can come on...Why carry on this garbage🤢
