April 27, 2009 Written Update

Kshitij is happy when Nikhil joins in to help him coach the team. After the practice, they return home for lunch, where the girls forcibly feed Nik lots of food (dhoklas and jalebis and more… no wonder they cant run after eating all this food).

Later Nik and Jhanvi spend some time alone on the terrace where he expresses how much he loves her and will do everything he can to help them win the match, but their romantic moment is interrupted by the betiyaan (ugh, as usual the kabab mein haddis make their entrance).

Early next morning, everyone is back in the stadium to practice. Nik coaches them how to bat properly, how to throw the ball etc. They all practice efficiently and seeing that Nik assures them that w/ this fire to win, they are sure to succeed.(now all they need is SRK's Chak De 'sattar minute' speech) Later they return home and together they assemble to pray singing bhajans. Saras tells everyone that they have to win the game, and she gives specific instructions to Nik and Kshitj, since they are the only 2 good batsmen in their team. BC learns from his men that the betiyaan have been practicing thoroughly for the game, but nevertheless, he is confident of winning the match. The day of the match arrives, and the betiyaan team is all set and ready to fight BC and his guys in the cricket field. They all arrive at the stadium dressed in white salwaar kameezs' and BC and his boys also arrive there ready for the match.

He sarcastically greets the Garodias. Seeing Nik and Kshitij in their team, he refuses to play and puts a condition that only women should be in their team. Saras and Jhanvi retort back at him for creating new rules at the last second, but he is adamant on it. All look on stunned and worried.
