September 29, 2008 Written Update

All the guests, upset, leave the party. Surya explains to the family how he first met Jhumki, and how he was forced to tell lies to the family after seeing her condition. The family is distressed hearing this.

At Rohan's, Mami and Mama discuss how to rid of Laxmi when all of a sudden Rohan begins running and playing near them. By accident, he drops tea on them. Furious, Mama begins to abuse Rohan. Laxmi turns up there in time, and stops them. She reprimands them for daring to do such a thing, and tells them to leave the house… reminding them that she is now Rohan's wife. Mama and Mami leave, but vow to themselves to return. Back at home, Laxmi fixes up Rohan's wounds.

When the family sob about what happened, Jhumki taunts them how they were the ones to leave their daughter to rot on the streets in the 1^st place. She screams at Menka when she tries to call her 'beti'. Surya and Savitri ask forgiveness from her and tell her to forget everything that happened. Jhumki tells them that all she wants from them is her right, her share of the property, and everything she never got. Surya promises her it all, but tells her she has to leave them and never look back. Jhumki refuses and tells them money is not all that she wants; it's the Garodia name too.

Savitri agrees to give her everything on the condition that Jhumki give up her old life and stay with them. All the family is shocked, but Menka is happy and Kajri looks worried.

: Laxmi and Rohan are in the park when 2 ladies see the 2 of them and pity Laxmi for getting someone like Rohan as a husband.

Thanks for the update Kru. I just hope Jhumki does not join hands with Kajri in hopes of revenge from the Garodias for her sufferings in the past. I hope to see a changed and new Jhumki who will fight against the evil in the house. 🤔
