I think with Brij’s wife it’s just plain old-fashioned conditioning. Maybe at first she was flattered at the attention. That’s the first time she would’ve been allowed to receive male interest positively too. Possibly just fantasy like you said. Lol issues with performing. You kill me

and yes, totally! From almost the first time I saw Aryan do his thing I was like, Maan??

These two are my favourite heroes of Gul’s, hands down. Like here with Maan, he doesn’t know this girl.

Has no reason to help, care or do anything, but he does. So many times it’s only the female lead going on about “insaanyat”, with male leads acting like they don’t know what that is.

But you can see it in Maan. I remember the track you are watching now. I thought it was hilarious how annoyed he was with her general presence but he helped her anyway. Lol the underlined- life’s never ending struggle

It's similar to the current Gul ML only extending his hand to the FL when he realized she actually needed support. Reminds me of that moment when a crack in ice happens and like thawed ice-water these women start seeping in.

She bumped into Maan, and I feel like he recognized her fear but was waiting to see how it would all play out. Does she really need help or is she conditioned into thinking she's at a disadvantge? The soda (?) he was drinking cracked me up - but the moment he lifts it to his mouth she breaks out in a run again. It wasn't until she started drowning that he stepped in to support her.

I also found it interesting that he protected her dignity by keeping her dupatta safe ashore, keeping his back to her, and tossing the dupatta to her. He never viewed her "state of undress" 😆 The begrudging and crude decency feels very similar to Gul's current ML throwing of water on a soiled FL.

what I liked, for as rough & tough he’s supposed to be, he’s not narrow-minded like Tauji & Brij. He didn’t pervert Geet’s actions at all. When she bumped into him and held on to his vest, when she pleaded with him, her staring at him helplessly, her placing her hand upon his accidentally on the tent string, and her attempting to fix his arm wound with her dupatta - he never once questioned her character. It didn’t even cross his mind.

He’s leagues apart in thought and perception of women compared to some of Geet’s maayka

enjoying the dynamic between Maan & Geet.

There is definitely an undercurrent of give&take btwn them that's exciting to watch. I believe Maan going out of his way to deliver the land paper copy is the first step towards him acting on his subconscious pull towards Geet.

Totally see Gurvinder & Rajji becoming a thing

Love how Tauji knows he's at fault, voices it, and still travels down the wrong path 😵

I know, I don't know what to do with myself

but I keep thinking of you everytime Maan guides Geet or gives her an option (masked as a non-option).

The need to be direct, open, and consenting is always there.
