His brother's girlfriend turned into a drunk homeless person. Why?

So his brother went down the same path. Dumped his girlfriend thinking he could not do right by her and then committed suicide.

Maan is half way on following Sam's course. He has the opportunity to turn things around. Will he?

M-I am his brother- Maan. I am not lying

Lady looks shocked white

She almost falls to ground

No wonder she felt that it was Sam when she saw the man from behind just now

Lady-He... couldn’t... I never... we were gonna... he never came… I thought he changed his mind…he…what happened? Why didn't I hear it from anyone? There was no obituary notice!

M-It…he was depressed…it…he…

Maam gulps…it's still hard to say what happened to his brother

M-It was not an accident…the family decided to keep the matter quite…mum…she didn't want anyone to know

Lady- That b*tch always hated me heh...! What do you mean it was not an accident?

M-He sh... He ki...they found him his gun... bleeding from head…

Lady-NO!!

Maan is tightlipped and a little shaky… it's not easy for him to recount this memory…no matter how long back it happened

Lady-No...No...No.. when was this?!(she leaps and grabs Maan’s hand firmly)

M- xx-xx date

Lady looks too shocked

Ek baari Maan ko laga ki she is about to faint when her eyes rolled to back of her head and she swayed on her feat

But a few secs later she was standing steady again

Lady-You...he...fine…I see…

She turns and leaves fast

This time not allowing Maan to stop her

Maan ko ab bhi believe nahi ho raha who he just met and what conversation he had

He goes into the shop and buys liquor

Opens the bottle and takes a sip to calm down

He starts walking back... sipping occasionally....

Raaste mein it starts raining but he didn't really care…

Ghar pohoncha…

Finished his drink, opened another one…and another... then another

He didn't know how many he had.

He couldn't understand what happened

He could…but he didn't want to...he wants to believe he doesn't understand.

How could a girl become like this because of a breakup…isn’t it stupid?

Should a man stop trying to be happy cos he is afraid or mental illness in future...isn't it stupid?

Geet is always so radiant and full of life and confident... She shouldn't go to therapy and look drained off life... isn't that a stupid joke of fate?

What’s going on? Why did everything turn out to be the worst outcome of all the possible outcomes?

Agar Sam suicide nahi karta…toh Maan wouldn’t have to handle all the burden of business, parents, and fears alone

If Sam had at least talked to his girlfriend before dying... then ate last she wouldn’t have turned into a wasted person today, maybe

If he had never met Geet then?

Maan has a half hallucination- half dream of all these scenarios:

If he never met Geet...Geet would never come here…Geet would eventually be molded into an unrecognizable person by Indian society etiquettes and probably live half fulfilled life

What if now Geet goes back instead of stubbornly staying here?

What if, she goes back and marries someone?

Someone who can't satisfy her…someone who will complain about Geet’s habits and personality…. she would probably get divorced and end up alone... the Geet now... wouldn't take sh*t and compromise stupidly

What if she doesn't go back?

She has series of boyfriends. But none of the relationships work out

Will she grow sad and bitter?

And what about him?

He wouldn't interfere with her life…but if she meets a jerk…Maan will need to secretly take care of the d bag and make sure he never bothers her again

But…why does Geet still look sad?

Maan imagines/dreams again and again

Every possible scenario….

Finding the perfect guy... arranging for this guy to meet Geet…. helping them get together... but the guy cheats on her coz intimacy with Geet is not a straight thing

Geet hooks up with a doctor/psychologist... who understands her situation... but heartless b*stard later dumps her…Geet was only case study for his thesis

In so many scenarios Maan has to first find the perfect guy for Geet and then make the guy’s life miserable if they mistreat her

Maan even thought, it's ok for Geet to be alone... but still she is sad... she will think about him often, wondering if she did something wrong…if she could have done something better

In such a life Maan wants to tell her; she is perfect. None of it is her fault but…. he can't meet her again. Meeting her against means not be able to leave her again

Maan fully torments himself with such dreams and hallucinations

He doesn't even know how long this has been going on

No matter what scenarios…no matter what he sacrifices…. whatever he does... Geet is not happy

Maan finally wakes up and sees bright white surrounding

Sounds of machines beeping

IV attached to his hand

His body and brain feel like it's been through a wringer

Feeling woozy and out of it... not sure if this is still another dream he is seeing or is it reality?

Yup, his mom was truly toxic & narcissistic

Their Mom ruined Sam and Maan life she was so selfish she didn't realize her one son suicide bz of her interference in his personal life and now Maan become depression patient he thinking later or sooner he going to b mental and Geet life going to ruin but not seeing she's suffering bz of his denial she confess to him after meeting his bro gf he should realize if Geet to become like her

He start drinking and end up in hospital he really need treatment

Did he have a nervous breakdown and end up in the hospital???

Why can’t he give them a chance and let go of his stupid thoughts altogether?
