MG OS : I Fell For Her
He first saw her in college, chattering away with her friends, he never knew love or whatever it was supposed to be but when he saw her, he was pretty sure that what he felt was love. they first spoke to each other while waiting for coffee at the cafeteria. She had been dared to buy coffee for her friends. They slowly got to know each other, he thought it was fate, she thought he was nothing but a friend.
On the last day of college, he gave her his confession, she replied with her wedding invitation. She had been in a serious relationship with a guy from her major for the entirety of college, now that they had graduated, they decided to step into the marriage boat.
He cried that day. He got sick the next.
After that he saw her at one of the Christmas attractions in his city 2 years later. She stood with her little family; her husband and a baby, he hadn't realized but even after 2 years he was still in love with her, seeing her there made him realize that.
The next time he saw her, he was a guest in her house, after 3 years had passed. He had opted for arranged marriage, as he didn't think he had the power to choose a nice life partner, not when he was in love with someone whom would never return his feelings. He hadn't even looked at the girl's picture when he had come home from work that day to find his parents in his condo. They said they had a good potential match for him, he said yes without thinking twice. And here he was, seeing her after so long.
She was the girl's older sister. He greeted her as friends, she like; her potential brother in law. While their family was talking with each other he got to know she was a single mother living with her parents, her husband had passed away, his family didn't accept her or their child.
His family agreed for the match, he didn't say no but couldn't help the feeling of despair, the feeling that he was wrong for marrying the sister of the girl whom he loved. His parents had made him promise to say yes to whomever they choose, he had to agree.
On the marriage day something big happened, his bride ran away with a boyfriend even her family was unaware of.
Tale as old time and the story goes further. The bride's family quickly called them in private and begged his family to let the older sister take the place of the younger one. They said it would only be done to save face and that they could get separated after the marriage. He agreed once again. His family did too.
He married the love of his life. She married someone she hoped to become her savior. He slept in his condo's second room, she in his decorated room. The next day she begged him to let her stay with him. Her family was already against the love marriage she had and now that she was a widow were they unbearable. He agreed.
She promised to leave him as soon as she was stable, he promised to let her leave whenever she wanted. He never wanted to let her go but if decided to, he would respect her decision. He called both their parents and told them he wouldn't be getting separated, his parents were angry, hers were delighted.
Slowly they got closer living under one roof. He treated her child like his own, he treated her with respect and obliged her wishes, he saved her from all the troubles he could. She couldn't help but fall for someone whom respected her so much, he couldn't help but fall for her even more.
The days went by, 2 years had passed since their marriage when she told him that was ready to go out in the world on her own. He said nothing, as usual respected her wishes. She wanted him to ask her to stay, he didn't; She wanted to leave afterall.
She packed, he helped. She left and his life was alone once again. A week had passed when someone aggressively ringing the doorbell at 6am on a sunday woke him up. It was her!. She stared at him when he opened the door and then cried. He wiped her tears but started crying himself. They both cried, they both confessed.
They started living together again with their child. A few months later he proposed, she said yes this time. They got married again with all the celebrations. He was happy and so was she.
