I have seen writer complaining that despite the quite a no. of views, likes are quite less and comments are even more less. Its a two ways process that's why writers seems desultory.😭

Would like to share my view..

The thing is that the activities & response here on GF has gone so lower with passing years, that it doesn't feel the same place anymore.

For hours & sometimes days... There is no activities on threads.. Pages seemed unmoved even though you can see view getting increased. But no reply or acknowledgement to the stories being updated, apart from the few countable loyal ones.

See here no one is getting paid for writing. It is because one has passion or enjoys writing as a hobby that they are here writing & sharing their creativity with us.

For sharing something, specially your thoughts/ creativity ( as I said for free, it's not their job they do for money) one needs encouragement that people reading it are interested in more, that they are enjoying & appriciating your creativity, living it through you.

And this encouragement, this appreciation is conveyed through likes & comments...which helps and motivates a writer to be more regular & more creative.

When your supposed audience , looks at your work, read it(or may be not) and just leave without any feedback or acknowledgement, is really disappointing.

Then we can argue that what about the loyal ones, who appreciate the efforts.

There I would say... May be the disappointment has been very heavy compared to the appreciation.

this may be true but I am very much addicted to read about maaneet all the time feels empty now a days

these stories act as oxygen to me
