After 1 year,

Maan had put all his resources to search but there was no clue of her, all thanks to Daaadima she had left no stone unturned to keep her away from Maan. For maan it was as if geet had vanished in thin air. He was missing her like hell even though they never had the time or memories together. he never had that content or feeling of peace in his heart. He had transformed his room and put her pictures all over which he had of her prior they marriage. No one was even allowed in his room. He was tired of asking Daadima about her who would not open her mouth. Only Daadi was staying with him in KM. He did not even wonder the whereabouts of his mom or Aryan.

He had become more ruthless if that was possible, KC had reached unimaginable heights as he had put all his frustration, anger in his work. He had also won the Best Businessmen of the Year award. Savitri was happy to know KC's position in the market as she had started to go to office regularly but she was still unhappy about his behaviour and anger. All the employees of KC had known no matter what decision Maan takes he cannot apply it without crossing Savitri's approval as he owned 30% shares of the company, Savitri Devi owned 51% shares of the company and 19% of the shares were with other shareholders.

Rumours had started in the Market that Savitri was thinking of transferring her shares to someone in the family, they were naturally anticipating it would be Maan Khurana. Most of them were scared that if Maan was such a ruthless businessman with just 30% of the shares then what would happen if he were to become the major shareholder with 81% shares. Maan was damn sure that he would rule the business world in the coming days.

There was a press conference held on KC's 50 years anniversary and today was the day when Savitri was announcing her retirement and the new CEO & MD of the company. It was afloat in the air that Maan would take the position of CEO and Sasha who the most senior person in KC will become MD.

All the employees were scared of Maan taking over CEO position and angry that Sasha would be taking over MD position. Sasha was a person who was high headed and was very arrogant, she thought she was the most deserved and the only working person in KC. She was on cloud nine thinking of becoming MD.

Morning in KM, Maan was all ready with his crisp Black suit, shiny black shoes, well groomed, he wore his watch and applied his perfume and had his breakfast. He was waiting and had worked day & night for this day. He give a final look in the mirror and went near a wall which had a large photo of a smiling Geet, he caressed the photo with a small smile. Here in Savitri room she was ready with a beautiful royal cream Saree and adorned with royal jewels who finished her breakfast and walked towards KM outhouse

Aryan came running to Daadi "Daadima pata hain aapko bhabi teekh nahi hain usse kuch ho gaya hain shayad" "Kya?? Kya hua hain geet ko who yeekh toh hain na uski tabiyat toh teekh hain na"

Priya came smiling bringing her purse looking graceful who was wearing a royal mint green saree with minimal makeup and jewellery. "Geet bilkul teekh hain maa" "Toh phir aryan aisa kyun keh rahe hain" "woh issliye kyunki geet ne kaha ki Aryan ko aaj school jaane ki zaroorath nahi hain aur woh humare saath KM ki function main aa raha hain" Daadi patted him slightly on his cheeks "Badmash tumhe na geet ne sahi naam diya hain nautanki, aur dekho aaj itna handsome lag raha hain humara pota" "handsome lag raha hoon na bhabi ne tayar kiya hain mujhe"

Geet came down smiling at everyone "Accha hota ki aap bhi humare saath aate toh geet.." "nahi daadima aap log jayijye aap jaante hain na main maan ko... mere matlab... ki main kaise.. mujhe bohat darr lag raha hain daadima" "nahi beta aapko aaj himat nahi harna hain" "bhabi hume na kisi cheez se darna nahi chahiye agar aapko darr lag raha hain toh main aapke saath ruk jaaun" spoke little Aryan. Geet mischievously looked at aryan and Daadima "accha bacchu ab tum mujhe batoge darr ke baare main, accha toh aap jaane nahi chahate toh ek kaam karte hain Daadima Aryan ko rehne dijiye hum na isko schhol bejhte hain" "nahi nahi main school nahi jaaunga chaliye maa, chaliye daadima isse pehle ki bhabi apna irada badal de saying Aryan pulled laughing Priya and Savitri towards the door leaving behing a smiling geet.

The dais was set in the garden area of KC where only the Board Members, important clients and selected employee's of KC was present. The media were of course invited. The place was decorated beautifully with elegance. A big screen was installed in all the floors of the building for the employees to view the function or the announcements to be made. The building and the interiors were itself decorated. A slideshow was been played with the photos of the history of KC and all the branches of KC all over the world decorated. Meera the head architect was also the anchor of the function who was rehearsing over and over. Yash who is also head architect was in-charge of the legal documents and the year book which was going to be inaugurated today. Pinky the receptionist was in-charge of the seating arrangement of the dignitaries and the media. Adiya or Adi who was right hand of Maan was looking over all the things as there was no room for mistake.

Meera was at the podium addressing the guests with a little history and achievements of the KC over the years. "I am glad to inform you that Mr. Maan Singh Khurana the Managing Director of Khurana Constructions is here, please welcome him on the stage" Maan came on the stage with an oozing aura and an attitude. "I would like to welcome Mrs. Savitri Devi Khurana the CEO of Khurana Constructions on stage" Savitri came on stage and sat with Maan. "It is definitely a great pleasure to welcome Mra Priya Khurana and Mr. Aryan Khurana the family of Mr. Maan Khurana and Mrs Savitri Khurana on stage" Maan was so angry seeing them there he immediately hissed at Daadima "Daadima aapne inhe yaha kyun bulaya mujhe yeh log yaha pasand nahi hain" Savitri kept her hand on his hand and leaned on him "Control bete aakir aaj toh KC ke 50^th year anniversary hain family nahi hoga toh kaise chalega aur waise bhi bohat kuch bakhi hain abhi.." Maan kept his cool wondering what was left as he already knew about him taking over KC completely. Savitri smiled at Priya and Aryan who were coming to the stage. Little Aryan was all shy as it was the first time someone addressed him as Mr. Aryan. Once they sat on the stage one seat was still empty, maan saw that and thought was Daadima planning to bring Geet here. To find out he signalled at Adi "Adi ya paanch seats hyun hain aur koun ayega tumhe kya ek kaan bhi dhaang se nahi hota hain kya????" Adi with his signature laugh started "nahi.. nahi sir who actually daadima ne hi kaha tha ki stage par paanch seats hone chahiye." "teekh hain jao..."

Meera continued with her speech "Now I request our CEO and Mrs. Priya Khurana to come forward and inaugurate the year book of KC" Both Savitri and Priya opened the book cover and passed onto maan and gave the rest to Adi "Thank you Mrs. Savitri Khurana and Mrs Priya Khurana, a copy will be given to all of you in a while. Now I request Mr. Maan Khurana to say a few words on KC completing 50 years." "I am very happy that Khurana Constructions has reached its 50^th year. I am glad to be part of this prestigious company. It would be wrong if I were to say that I am the only person responsible to this success today. KC is what is today because of all the hard work of all of our employees. I would like to thank them as well. Once again Thank you all for coming and being the part of this success. Thank you" Everyone started clapping loudly and all the KC employees were happy seeing maan praise them. "Thank you Mr. Khurana, Now I would like to invite Mrs. Savitri Devi to make the important announcements"

Savitri got up and took over the mike "Thank you Meera, thank you to one and all present here and also to the people who are a part of this success. I have some major announcements to make here which will change a lot of things in KC. This decisions was taken with the agreement of the Board of Directors as well I would like all of you to please not interrupt during the announcements and of course the people from media will be given an opportunity for Q&A" Maan was puzzled as to why daadi was making such comments all of them knew what the announcements were. Sasha was also on cloud nine just waiting for the announcements. "As by now all of you have heard and have heard the right thing. I will be stepping down from the CEO post today. Today will be my last working day in KC as CEO. The general staff promotions will be given to their managers who will communicate it to their subordinates. Now the important changes will be as follows. Mrs. Priya Khurana who is now holder of 31% shares of the company by purchasing 19% shares and I have transferred my 12% shares will be the new COO of the company. I request Mrs. Priya Khurana to come forward and accept the offer letter with the remaining documents" Priya came forward and took the file from her mother-in-law, Maan was shocked at this revelation. Savitri smirked and threw the next bomb on Maan "Congratulations Mrs. Priya Khurana & Welcome to KC. Now for the most important announcement of the day. I have transferred my remaining shares that is 39% shares to our new CEO. Please welcome with a big round of applause for Mrs. Geet Khurana" Maan immediately stood up he was never in his wild dreams expecting something like this. He was beyond shocked with the announcement made. Aryan also started clapping in excitement. Everyone started clapping and looking at the entrance to see this new person who became CEO. Geet entered the premises wearing a royal blue saree with hair left down and wearing minimal makeup with diamond jewellery. She was looking mesmerizing and confident. She came on the stage and took the file from Daadima containing all the documents. "Welcome to KC Mrs. Geet Khurana and All the best. KC is looking forward to work with you." Geet smiled and took blessing from Daadi, Priya and hugged Aryan.

Some of them were in awe looking at Geet, some were confused with the huge changes. Sasha was fuming in anger to see this as this meant Maan was still the MD and she was in her old position. Maan was stunned looking at all of this.

Talk about the bomb you just dropped in Khurana constructions. Dadima got some trick up her sleeves to set her grandson straight. Aww looks like everyone has built a great relationship with each other except for Maan, maybe this will teach him a thing or two with the presence of geet and Priya in the office.
