Chapter 4

"With whom you come?" Geet raised head but she can't believe her eyes when she saw Maan standing a five steps away from them.

"With papa" Payal told happily point her finger to Maan direction.

"Maan" Geet take a step back in shock. She never thought they will again meet.

"Go away from here" She said. Maan looked her really hurt by the rejection which he facing again even after all those years.

"Geet" He saw her running to her room.

"Beta please leave" Rano requested but Maan nodded no because he is not going to do same mistake again.

"Geet" Maan pushed door open she turn to him with her teary eyes.

"Why you come back?" Geet ask in anger.

"For you, for our baby and for us Geet" Maan told having tears seeing her after years.

"There is nothing between us now" Geet looked him with moist eyes.

"You still love me" Maan lovingly stare her beautiful face she still not change a bit.

"No, you are wrong, I hate you now" She said looking away from him.

"Liar" Maan walk toward her and trapped her between himself and wall.

"Leave me" She try to push him.

"Never" He wiped her tears, she look up to his eyes.

"I hate you" She cries hitting him with her fist.

"We both know you are lying" He told holding her wrists.

"Go from here" She turned away from him.

"I can't leave my two girls" Maan said when she was about to leave room.

"She is no one to you, Payal is not your girl" Geet said. Maan take steps toward her in rage.

"Don't you dare lie to me" He hold her shoulders tightly.

"I'm not lying, payal is not your daughter" She try to tell this looking into his eyes.

"No, she is Mine and so you are Geet, do you get it, Mine" Maan shook her rudely. She cry know she can't lie to him.

"Understand one thing, Payal is my baby and I don't need proof for that. No one and I mean it Geet, no one can separate her from me, Not even you" Maan declared angrily.

"How you know she is your baby?" Geet looked him helplessly.

"Geet she looks exactly like me and I know she is our baby" Maan hold her face in both hands.

"No" Geet refused pushing his hands away.

"Okay tell me one thing Geet, if she is not our baby then why she call me papa?? Who told her that I'm her father?" Maan question in rage. Geet don't know how to answer him that she herself showed his photo and told Payal about him being her father.

"I got all answers of my questions" Saying this Maan left room. Geet cried sitting on floor holding her knees.

In living room Maan saw Payal who was playing with her Naani Rano and Maasi Pari. Seeing him payal jumped to come to him, he took her without any delay.

Garden...

"You fight with mumma?" Payal ask curling her small hands around Maan neck from back standing on big chair, Maan was sitting there thinking how to make Geet understand that Payal needs both of them.

"Yes" Maan accept holding her hands softly.

"You are angry with mumma?" Payal rest her chin on his shoulder.

"Yes" Maan anger vanished into air with payal sweet voice.

"Are you angry on me too?" She asked with sad face. Maan turn to her.

"No baby, why would papa get angry on his princess" He made her sat on his lap.

"Really" She smile big.

"Yes my Princess" Maan peck her cute nose.

"I want ice cream" She said. He stand and took her in his arms.

"Why not, let's go" Maan happily agree, he is very much happy because first time he will fulfill a wish of his baby.

"Take mumma too with us" She said looking behind for Geet.

"But your mumma is angry with me" Maan made a sad face, he know Geet will surely refuse or even not let him take payal for an ice cream.

"We will request mumma" Payal come out of Maan arms and dragged him inside.

"Mumma" Payal call her. Geet look payal then Maan

"Papa and me going for ice cream treat you also come with us" Payal pull Geet scarf but Geet turn her face.

"Please mumma" Payal requested again.

"Papa see mumma is not saying anything you too say her na" Maan picked payal up.

"Geet please for payal" Maan stood behind her.

"No" Geet refused. Payal looked her then Maan sadly.

"Mumma please" Both Maan and payal speak on the same time. Geet turn to them. They both show their puppy faces.

"Okay" Geet finally gave up almost smiling.

"Thank you mumma" Payal kissed Geet cheek tightly in happiness. Maan smiled.

"Papa you too say thanks to mumma" Payal said Maan looked Geet naughtily.

"Payal its okay" Geet feel her cheek turning red with blush, she know how much naughty Maan is.

"Thanks Geet" Maan softly peck corner of her lips. She close her eyes, now she realized how much she missed him in these 5 years and she is not surprise that he still affect her the way he used to do years back.

Next day Afternoon... Dubey mansion...

"Mumma I want to meet papa" Payal say running behind Geet like a lost puppy in whole house.

"First you complete your homework" Geet give her book.

"But mumma today is sunday" Payal made a cry face seeing books.

"So what payal? no more excuses do your homework now" Geet strictly said. Payal made face then she heard Geet mobile ring.

"Papa" Payal scream in happiness. On the other side Maan too feel happy hearing Payal happy and excited with his call.

"Maan?" Geet turn toward payal who is happily talking with Maan on phone.

"How is my princess?" Maan ask, he is really missing her in one day only.

"Payal give me phone" Geet snatch away mobile.

"Geet" Maan heard her angry voice.

"Now do your homework" Geet glared payal.

"Maan why you called here?" She ask coming out of room not liking Maan and Payal growing bond.

"Geet please don't scold payal. I just called because I was missing her" Maan don't want to make Geet feel insecure about payal.

"Please Maan I'm not liking that payal and you" Geet looked down her tear fell, she don't know how to tell him to stay away from his own daughter.

"Geet please don't do this to us and to our baby, please Jaan" Maan very well know what she is trying to say. Geet cut the call crying, she too want everything between them like before but now it's too late.

Maan hotel room...

"Mr. Khurana this is my engagement card please do come with your family" Arjun keep a card on table in front of Maan.

"Sure Mr. Rathor" Maan shake hand with him when Arjun get up to leave.

Sharma mansion...

"Did you invited Maan?" Mohinder called Arjun, he really want to see Maan face when he will find with whom Arjun getting engaged.

"Yes but why you want to invite Mr. Khurana and most importantly how you know him" Arjun ask confused about Mohinder motive.

5 stars hotel... Arjun's engagement party...

"Geet why are you running from me?" Maan tug Geet arm the moment he find her alone.

"Maan please leave me" She try to move away but he hold her tight.

"Geet I'm asking something answer me" Geet looked down, she don't know how would he react after knowing about Arjun.

"Geet Mr. Khurana?" Arjun looked them both confused. Maan Geet both turn to Arjun.

"Do you know Geet?" Maan ask. Arjun smile. Geet feel scared thinking if he tell Maan then only god know what Maan gonna do with him.

"Of course Mr. Khurana she is the girl with whom I'm getting engaged after half hour" Arjun tell. Maan was stunned then anger made it way.

"When are you planning to tell me about your engagement?" Maan ask yanking Geet close fuming knowing what happening here.

"Mr. Khurana leave her" Arjun get angry. Maan turned to him in rage, he is feeling like beating Arjun for even thinking about his Geet.

"Do you know who is she?" Maan ask fuming.

"Yes she is Geet sharma" Arjun told thinking why Maan getting so possessive for Geet

"Yes, and do you know Geet sharma is my fiancee" Maan show engagement ring in Geet finger, he smirk seeing Arjun shocked face.

"Maan" Geet helplessly looked him.

"You just keep quiet because I don't want more troubles in our already Complicated life" Maan said angrily. Geet look down at his chest.

"What? But how can this happen, her father never told me about this and I think Mr. Khurana you don't know she is mother of a girl" Arjun told coming out of shock still thinking why Geet father didn't tell him that Geet is Maan fiancee.

"I knew everything but I think you don't know that the girl is..." Maan said. Geet try to stop Maan but he is too much angry on her to even listen to her right now.

"Payal is my and Geet daughter" Maan told.

"What?" Arjun get another shock.

"Yes and now please excuse us" Maan said before dragging Geet away from there.
