PART 2
"Aaah...aa gaya" Geet murmured nervously as she heard some footsteps coming towards the room...and rushed to the bed to present herself as a traditional bride.
The door opened and star of the night Mr Maan Khurana entered with a dazzling smile on his face. His smile showed how content and happy he is right now. His eyes searched for his bride and stopped at the red figure on the bed. And finally the realisation dawned upon him "This is his wedding night" and the nervousness kicked in.
"Err hmmm" He clearedd his throat and slowly made himself comfortable on the bed.
He lifted the veil and was his eyes forgot to blink...he was truely mesmerized.
"You look beautiful" Maan exclaimed in a dazed state which was enough to bringe a shade of red on Geet's cheeks.
He held her hands gently and gave a light peck...
"You know I had a crush on you during college times" he revealed a fact...Geet was feeling flattered. But the nervousness was still there so she avoided looking into his eyes.
"Geet...getting married to you was just an innocent dream of mine ...but destiny made it come true...I am so happy that I want to celebrate all night" Maan expressed his joy.
"Celebrate all night...I don't have that much stamina...aur mujhe to kuch thik se pata bhi nahi" Geet was going all gross in her mind hearing her husband's words.
She was in her thoughts. ..when Maan again spoke"Ek kadam maine badhaya...ab tumhari baari."
Saying this he settled on the bed shrugging his sherwani dupatta.
"Mmmai kya karoon...mujhe shuru karne keh kar khud let gaya" Geet murmured nervously..."First I should switch off the light" she got an idea ...her filmy knowledge was helping her atleast.
"What the...light kyu off kar di?" Maan at once spoke.
"Kitna besharam hai...bina light off kiye ..never" Geet started to curse Maan in her mind.
"I can't do this if the light is on...chhi how can you" she stood on the bed and scowled.
"Hang on hang on...what r u thinking" Maan asked and seeing her expressions..he was finally enlightened about his crazy wife's inner thoughts and next second his loud roars of laughter echoed in the whole room.
"Mrs Khurana. ..I must say I am impressed...and I simply bow down to your ever so great thoughts" Maan finally said after laughing to his heart's content.
"What I meant was let's celebrate this occasion with some romantic talks and little romance" He then showed the "little" with his fingers. But if you want to celebrate it that way...I am in for it" he winked...Geet was all sharm se paani paani...again she had made a fool out of herself.
"Mmh...yes ..no...I mean I need some time" she said looking down
"Hmm...the party is due then...we will rock the party at the right time..what say" Maan winked...and to hide her blushing cheeks...Geet locked herself in the bathroom.
Finally after half an hour Geet Khurana graced the room in her simple nightwear. She was shy..hesitant all at the same time. She saw Maan all changed in his nightwear. It seems he was waiting for her .
After five minutes..the Khurana couple was found chatting intimately on the bed. Their faces were radiating. The nervousness was long gone .

Next morning. ..the alarm clock broke the couple's sleep. "Mmmh Mishu band karo" Geet said in a groggy voice and again went to sleep. But she was again woken up...but this time by a sweet kiss on her cheek...she opened her eyes only to absorb the reality and she at once sat on the bed.
" Good morning" Maan wished and Geet reciprocated with a smile.
Both came down for the breakfast and wished their parents.
"Ahaan newly weds...time par..." Rashmi teased ..to which Maan shook his head..his mother can never change..
"Mamma I m a Professor. ..I m always on time" Maan replied with attitude.
"Haan haan apna gyan mujhe mat de...aur Geer tumhe zyada gyaan de..toh ise iske hi class se out kar dena" Rashmi said looking at Geet.
" Haan hum mass bunk maar ke movie dekhne jayenge..kyu Rashu" Ajay winked at his wife which earned him a light slap.
Geet was amazed to see such a cute family. Her mother passed away when she was 12..so she never got to see her parents teasing each other like this. She really liked her in laws..they were cool and fun to be with.

"Sab theek se pack kiya" Rashmi entered the room. "Haan mamma almost "Geet smiled.
"Ache se pack karna ...Honeymoon ka feel aana zaroori hai" Rashmi teased.
" Mamma...kya aap bhi" Geet turned into a red tomato.
" Kyun Shaadi k baad pehli trip wo bhi bilkul akele ..wo bhi for such a long period" Rashmi winked and moved forward to help her.
And now Maan and Geet were rushing in order to reach the airport at time. They had a flight to catch at 6 and they still were on their way.
Finally they were inside the flight and looking forward to start a new jouney.

I was 7 in the evening when Mr. and Mrs. Khurana finally reached their abode. The flat was cozy and beautiful. Geet just loved it in first glance and her mind was now bringing in new ideas how to decorate it. Maan came and sat on the sofa with a thud and closed his eyes.
"Tired??" Geet asked while passing him the bottle of water. "Hmmm..." he drank some water and lazily put his head in Geet's lap. Geet was surprised by the gesture...sure they had developed a good bond last night...but this was not something she was expecting.
"Aaah " the sound brought her out of her thoughts and she looked at Maan with concern.
"Aap thik to ho" she touched his forehead.
"Thoda sar daba do...it's paining" Maan brought her hands to his forehead and requested.
She smiled and started massaging which relieved him and and soon both were sleeping in the same position.

After 2 hours Geet woke up due to hunger. She opened her eyes scrutinising the area for some time ...and then the reality hit her. She was in Bangalore.
She looked down to see Maan sleeping soundly in her lap.
"Maan uthiye" she shook him..but seems like Mr . Professor was in some deep sleep.
She started moving her fingers in his ears ...which disturbed his sleep...he opened his eyes a little and said groggily " Sone do".
"Pehle kuch kha lo aap " Geet said and pushed him a little. Finally Maan Singh Khurana was sitting on the sofa like a cranky child.
" Main pizza order kar rahi hun" Geet dialled the number . After sometime she came and sat next to her husband who was sitting with a cute pout. She ruffled his hair.
The door bell rang and Geet jumped to open the door. She was famished.
The duo attacked on the pizza and with in minutes empty boxes were lying on the table.
After satisfying their hunger. ...they were off to a beautiful sleep.

Geet opened her eyes due to the sunlight . She rubbed her eyes and saw Maan in a suit wearing his shoes.
"Aap kahan ja rahe hain" she sat on the bed.
Maan turned to Geet's voice and smiled.
'Finally the Sleepy Head wakes up...Good morning!!"
"says the man ...who is a Kumbhkaran himself" Geet retorted and stuck her tongue out at him.
Maan smiled at his baby wifey.
"I have to give a lecture at 10 so I have to rush...and don't worry I will have my breakfast in the canteen." He came to her and kissed her cheek.
"Bye and take care" Maan waved his hand went out.
Geet had to join her company after a week. So she was relaxed.
After taking a shower. ...
She thought of going to a mall and bring all the needed groceries.

It was 5 when Maan finally reached his house.
"Kya yaar...honeymoon classes ki jagah extra classes lene pad rahe hain." He was cursing his luck again and again.
He searched for his wife in the hall but eventually found her in the kitchen. He stealthily entered and snaked his arms around her waist from behind.
"Aaa" Geet screamed making Maan move back and close his ears with his fingers.
Geet turned around taking the belan to hit the man who dared to touch her...
but then once again...the embarrassment was ready to engulf her and finally she was standing there like a child trying to hide her embarrassment.
"Whooaaa...what was that" Maan finally spoke.
She was queit. ...
"Meri dil ki raani Jhansi ki rani kab se ban gayi" he flirted and winked at her.
"Cheesy line Mr. Khurana" the dear wife forgot her embarrassment .
Maan pulled her close and said huskily " I like cheesy things .. cheese is delicious just like your cheeks "and bit her cheek .
The sound from the pressure cooker distracted them and Geet finally turned around and hid her red face.
At the dinner table...
Both husband-wife were savouring the dinner queitly. Mrs Khurana was too shy to speak after the encounter.
She was not even ready to make an eye contact which disturbed Maan so he decided to apologise" I am sorry. ..I just got carried away" .
And the blushing bride finally made an eye contact .She was not at all angry. She was just shy.
"Maan you don't need to be sorry...I was just a little nervous...I didn't feel bad" she stammered.
" So you felt good" Maan said in a teasing tone.
Geet pushed him and ran to the bedroom leaving Maan with a smiling face " Seems like I will have to teach LOVE THEOREMS to my wife...Aaah...being a Professor never felt so good."😉😉😉
