You know why? Because e are done with the welcomes and the pleasantries and now we are moving into the story..

But you know what, the best part was Geet and her father's interaction. So beautiful di... you touched the right chords. and to be honest, even I am a tiny bit jealous of geet.

The story telling...the enthusiasm of geet is so feel-able. I share that space with my aai (in my language, aai is maternal grandmother).So, whenever aai visits us, sonu and I would make her sleep with us and ask her to narrate stories.

Fun fact: the stories i was telling about the 5 marriages in my house, remember? that old woman had spilled all the beans one night and the next morning I went on to mom with "thug life" written on my face.😆
she also spilled the beans of the house opposite to hers😉

Some of my earliest memories are of me sitting at dining table with Mamma complaining about my' kaands' to my Papa and he being the ever sweetheart trying to divert the topic causing my Mom to cast him the infamous ' I know what you are doing ' evil eye.
