Chapter 14

A very interesting part here.

Gaurav and the rest are not pleased with Geet's job as air stewards. They ain't looking forward for a daughter in law whom will be flying around often. Though Marissa seems to give some justicafication mentioning about Geet's passion and her hobby but that doesn't buy any for them.

As predicted both Maan and Geet are quiet at their own phase. Geet is speechless what to say, the only thing that keep running in her mind is Maan's scar and how did it happen. Looks like Geet is unhappy with her parent, she's already making point to talk to them. Well everyone is not saint here. We should be practical.

Maan was being extra quiet here. He doesn't have anything to say either. At least Geet was very keen observing him but Maan didn't even want spare a look at her except for those few times. It's very clear that he's uncomfortable being in center point.

Just like I thought Nick made unpleasant comment on Maan's appearance. It's not wrong at all, kids will remain kids. They don't realize what they say until they are being taught.

I feel bad for Maan on his past. Once he was loved by kids but here a kid is crying because of him.

Well it's very fast to say Yes from both. I think it's going to be No , unless they plan to meet up again.

Chapter 15

As expected it's a no from both side.

Geet's is furious over her parents for choosing Maan for her. She's not against Maan but she just doesn't' get it why they choose him for her. She have a good life, good career and good looks.

Glad Tara made her parent understand the real situation. Her parents are just not understanding her point. They seem to be keep making the same mistake again. By now they should know their daughter then why do they doing this to her? She's 30 and very much successful so they should keep finding alliance that suits her career not the other way round. It's like they just want Geet to get married and settle.

Geet can't be angry over Maan's family for visiting her. They surely didn't know that she's working as air stewards. The only thing they aware is, she's a businesswoman. That's it. So, it was supposed to be Suneel and Marissa told them beforehand on Geet's real profession. I totally disagree Geet being angry on their disgust.

But I agree with Suneel's only valid point here. Nobody is perfect here. Everyone have their own flaws.

Maan's family was excited on the whole proposal. But now they have second thought already except Kartik who very excited meeting beautiful Geet. The only concern they have is Geet's profession.

I'm curious to know, if they disagree Geet because she is an air stewards or because she has another professional as air stewards. It does make difference here. They want a wife for Maan that will be a with him as a support throughout his life. So if Geet is an air stewards , surely that cannot happen as she fly mostly. But there are also chances, even being a career oriented person does flying most of the time. I have a very good friend being a Director in a top Audit company and also a beauty blogger; she does flying every week/monthly base. So here I'm curious on his family's real reason of rejection.

I'm totally loving Kristen here. She's a real good friend to him. She constantly makes Maan smile with her crazy antics. I think Maan only smiles when he's with Kristen. She's keen to know more about Geet as she feels that Geet suits him perfectly but Maan is in no mood for further talk.

Geet is still angry with her parents and not ready to face them nor have a talk with them. She's deliberately avoiding any of their contact. I'm surprised that scoff off when she learns that the Khurana's have rejected her. Surely it will irk her self-ego.

I like the last part conversation of Geet-Kanchan. Seems like Geet realize what she's missing in her life. She has everything except "real happiness"

Looking forward to read what's Maan and Geet doing after leap...

Geet's reaction is as expected but she isn't wrong in what she said!

Geet is right at her end... Though she did not judge maan by his scars... but could not neglect the others who gave disapproved look when they learnt about her job...Maan has scars and limp in a fight for the country... But still they want a perfect DIL and cannot compromise on her individuality... I pity their thinking... Maan on the other end lost his confidence... He should have put forward his likes before his family... Marriage is family affair... But still first Maan should look if his partner is compatible with his nature... I find geet can bring the lost confidence in him... The way she said one should not taunt and one should not take the taunts lieing down...

Lovely update, as guessed the alliance would be rejected and geets family have a valid point that if geets was in maans position they will never look at her then why they were looking for perfect girl. And if they they maan will recover and he needs the best then they should wait for it and looking for girls around for pedestal bride. And they rejected geet because she has flying as her job & no compromise for anything such a hypocrites. Waiting to see what would leap bring

Fabulous update. Both families rejected the proposal. Suniel tried to make Geet understand that no one is perfect in this world. But it's also a fact that if the situation was reverse Maan's family wouldn't have accepted a girl with scars on her face. It was right for Geet to think that she deserved someone more better. Now what next? Will wait for the story to progress.

so their is a no from both sides... i know geet said no but she exactly not said no to him as per his looks... she said no to her parent tht whom they choose for her.. its very clear from her side tht she s perfect in her own all ways but they choose him .. hope she understand her parents Pov tht looks is not everything their r much more but ya she is still angry...

both families rejected this proposal but maan want to say he's not perfect so stop searching perfection in every alliance but he didn't argue woth them geet angry on hr parents and didn't talking to them but she knows she having everything but still she feel something missing in hr life

Ok I guess I am the only one who did not see the no coming from both families...Maans family , yes was disappointed to know that Geet is a stewardess, they I know feel she will not be able to give Maan her time and companionship if she is so busy flying all the time...typically all parents would think like that knowing their son needs mental and physical support from his loved ones, especially a life partner...
