Chapter 11:
And the pain is back again... but I'm glad Geet was around this time to give Tara the shoulder she needed the most.Although Maan being a man of actions and not words is a good thing but there is always a point where words are more soothing, more healing that actions are. I hope he knows the trick or he learns it soon enough.Maan is going to ask Geet to go to the camp, right? In place of the doctor who couldn't make it.. I don't know if having Geet out of Tara's range would be a good idea or not.It was absolutely disgusting, the way the policemen questioned Tara and Dev in the name of filing a report. It is really pitiful of our society to have such menaces amongst us. Instead of living up to the promise of support and help, the policemen take the dirty path down. Totally unacceptable! But can we really blame the policemen here? It is the thinking of our society where we tend to blame the victim for the crime committed with her. Or, like they've done with Dev, they drag the one who helps, into a swamp of problems. Nobody even cares to think what the victim must already be going through in her mind, what her feelings might be, how broken she could be. It is the sad reality of our life.A question. Earlier Tara says she wants to go home. Which home exactly is that? The hostel or her uncle's place?Maan being there in time was a blessing, indeed. I couldn't possibly waver my mind off the girl who committed suicide because the world couldn't treat her well...And Maan's own memories swirl back. Did Maan forget these moments too? Of Kiran and Raj when they were washed away by the stream?I am glad there was at least on honest officer, the commissioner, to treat his subordinates a good lesson. We need more of them in the world.A huge tragedy had been averted indeed. Can't really question Geet's nervousness or fear, nor Maan's blankness. But the outcome of it was beautiful, without a doubt. It's true that when one feels they've lost someone, or when someone comes very close to the brink of losing someone, their emotions can not be reined in. They flow freely then, and you realise what you really feel... Maan's heart can sense what Geet is feeling and his heart is also feeling the same but the kind refuses yet. Surely, with time, he'll come to know why his heart is drawn towards Geet so strongly. And that dialogue is one of my favourites too. ❤️Avi, without any exaggeration, this update was one of the most wonderfully depicted ones. It felt like I was in the story instead of reading it. I could feel all the emotions in this chapter, rage, helplessness, fear, loss...everything. Hats off to you for penning this one down!👏
Thank u thank u thank u 🤗
I don't even know what I write sometimes 😆 but I am glad it had an impact.
