As for the chapter, there were quite a few things in my mind while reading it. First of all, I want to give my own opinion about the question you asked at the end note of the chapter.

"Was Geet wrong in putting herself first?"

I think there is no "correct" answer to this one because views vary from person to person. Personally, I feel she wasn't entirely wrong but she wasn't entirely right either. In the little piece of their past you've shown, she lets him go without really briefing him on what prompted her to think so. Did she ever mention the conversation she had overheard? Not in the little that we know. So, in that way, she was wrong to let someone go just like that, especially the one who loved her so deeply. I may quite be wrong here because obviously there's more to the past that must be revealed before any of us has the right to be judgemental on her, or him.

Why do Raj and Kiran never get to live in your stories? It hurts, you know. I don't want to know about their love story in OSR because then it'd hurt more knowing they're no more. I wonder if the phone call Maan received when he was with Geet had something to do with his parents and that was why he never came back. Maybe he became a rescue doctor because of his parents, whatever tragedy they had to face...

The most integral part of the story. Memory loss. In a way, it's good Maan doesn't remember anything because that would give Geet a second chance a little easily than if he remembered Everyhting.

Let's see how it goes.

@bold: I suppose it is because he did not have parents in the show. There are scenes with Raj and Kiran later in the story you know.😃 This obsercation did made me pause and think I suppose. If I ever write anything again Raj and Kiran will live 😃
I wrapped up the story in a hurry and now that I have a limited audience at least I want to spend the time to fix whatever I had glossed over, hence the rewrite. It is limited to some scenes only so for the most part it will be as it was.

We were claiming geet to be ambitious in last part but this part clearly showed who is ambitious here none other then dadi. In her ambition to held the highest position she made her son n dil puppets and as if it was not enough now she is planning to repeat it with maan n geet. I like the attitude of geet here to deal with dadi n one more thing i doubt that maan has lost his memory. If it is so then how he remembered nakul n dadi n that he lived in OH before. Do he pretend the memory loss for just keeping geet near. Nice update. Thanks for pm n pw n rewritting it. Surely this time as u r rewritting it new interesting things will add up. Waiting for next.
