One side Geet was relieved that she didn't hurt DM's feelings nd escaped to lie to her family ,, other side DM was happy that Geet was fasting ,,if she didn't then it wd be an Upshagun , bcoz she was a married girl ,, she prayed to God for keeping d value of that innocent girl fast nd blessed her all d happiness ,, with happy heart she prep sargi for Geet very early in d mrng ,, called Geet to wake her nd then went to OH ,, Geet was ready ,,she touched DM feet nd thanked her for taking that much pain for her ,, DM handed her d decorated plate of Sargi,, made her sit in bed nd fed her sweet kesar Sewai with her own hand ,, then insisted Geet to eat all d things , DM left coconut water for her to drink after few min nd left ,, Geet forced her to take proper rest bcoz she knew that DM woke up very early to make all that,, bcoz of this love nd care of that elderly lady Geet bent down nd accepted to do anything for her happiness ,, her this KC fast was for her not for that Mr Attitude ,, she slept again for some time .

It was a very pleasant mrng ,,Maan wake up nd went for his regular exercise ,, he peeped in DM's room as he did everyday but that day he find DM sleeping ,, gen DM woke up at that time ,, he became tensed nd went in her room , placed his hand on her forehead to check temp ,but she was fine nd woke up with his touch .

DM: Maan ,u here , what happened ?

Maan: that I want to check , u r still in bed , r u not feeling good ?

DM tried to sit nd Maan helped her : relax , we r fine .

Maan : that's good , but let me check ur sugar to assure me .

DM: no need beta i'll do that , u r getting late for ur Gym ,go .

Maan : i'll ,, DM r u taking regular med check up ? Sorry bcoz of business I m not able to take u for check up nd told V .

DM smiled : I m taking beta , don't worry ,, I know u r a very busy person ,, have many commitments nd ur own life too ,, any way what is ur today's progrm , it's Sunday today ?

Maan checked her sugar nd gave a satisfied nod nod nd look to DM ,, kept d kit back nd sat near her on d edge of bed .

Maan : I m free today nd want to spend d day at home with V nd A , will talk to them at BF .

DM gulped hard ,, her own plan to spent time with Geet was going to flop ,, she has to think something .

Maan saw her tensed : DM what happened , don't u like my plan ?

DM fake a smile : no it's good that after age u think for this , otherwise u nd ur siblings prefer to spend d weekends with friends ,any way will talk at BF about V nd A program .

Maan : Ok , see u there .

Maan left nd DM sighed sadly ,, today she wanted her all G childern to go out so that she cd spend time with Geet nd in prep for d day , but to spoil d fun her dear G son thought to be with her , but why he was not going anywhere ? even last weekend too he spend his all day locked in his study ,why this change ?

D whole khurana family gathered at BF table nd wished each other , as usual Maan asked about V nd A's study nd Sunday plan .

A: bro ,DM , today I have planned with friends ,, we all r going to attend a party of our Sr friend who is engaged nd celebrating KC along with her newly wed bro nd bhabhi ,, they throw a party for this function , DM I m just leaving after BF ,, we all apply mehndi nd dressed up there , may be i'll stay there over night .

D words celebrating KC gave a blow to Maan ,, DM nd V looked at him nd then at each other silently ,,, Maan too observed that nd then fixed his eyes at his plate ,, he felt a void in atmosphere ,, d coldness in their relations pinched him .

DM listened but didn't react ,,Maan looked at her nd then at A ,, he realized that now a days DM wdn't try to stop them ,, she only listened nd said OK in a casual way ,, they all wr living their lives in their ways .

Maan : V u too have any plan or staying at home ?

V: sorry to say ,but me nd Meer also going for dinner .

A: aaww cool, I m sure she is keeping fast for u , right ?

V rolled his eyes : girls nd their endless demands.

A: dare u curse us .

Maan : ok leave this , d main point is that u both r going out .

DM : u too cn go Maan .

Maan: no ,I m fine at home , have work to finish .

DM: from many days u r not going out , is everything fine with ur friend circle ?

Maan : yeah , all fine nd busy in their lives .

DM: so what ,u too had ur life but u didn't corner them .

Maan : DM , not only they but I m too very busy ,so avoiding outing .

DM: oh , any way , I m also going to my frnd house ,, she invited me on her G DIL's 1^st KC ,, i'll leave after lunch,, Maan beta , i'll instruct Nakul for ur dinner .

Maan nodded pasting a fake smile ,, but this word 1st KC was pinching him ,, from last 2 - 3 days he was listening this KC word in his office , from friends nd now in KM ,, he finished his BF nd left from there ,, DM sadly looked at his retreating figer , on d day of celebrating this day together at their home d whole family was scattered diff sides leaving this house in silence ,, she sighed nd mumbled .

DM: don't know when this house'll get back its lost happiness .

V nd A looked at her ,, they understood where DM was hinting ,, it was Maan & Geet's 1^st KC too , but ...

DM got up nd left from there aftr her V nd A exchanged a look nd left to their respective rooms .

Maan was in his study with spoiled mood ,, he thought to spend a day with all after long but all went their ways nd sply to celebrate KC with others ,, he knew this fast is very spl for newly wed couples nd married ppl ,, it cd be spl for his family too if he nd G e... ,, damn, why I m thinking about that girl ,bcoz of her he nd his family lost d happiness ,, he looked at his parents smiling pic.

He remembered how her mom prep for this day ,, DM ordered to deco d KM ,, his dad never missed this day nd gave half day leave to all employees if it fell on a working day ,, they all celebrated together at terrace ,, how beautiful wr those days.

Maan sighed sadly nd thought.. don't know how this KM'll get back its happiness ? may be V nd A will bring bcoz he was loosing interest in girls nd married life ,, d truth of his forced marriage was not leaving him nd soured his heart,, this loneliness was better for him ,, he was happy with his files nd work .

Maan opened a file infront of him to work nd stretched his hand to pick a pen from pen holder ,but pulled back with a feeble cry .. d lil open ppr cutter cut his palm nd blood started coming out from that cut ,, Maan saw that nd some images from past started flashing in his mind ..

D day was very long nd tiring for him ,, hardly he concentrated in his work , had his lunch alone bcoz DM went to mrkt then again locked him in his study ,, d slight pain was still there in his palm ,, DM came in his room nd both took their coffee/tea together with lil business talk then she excused herself for leaving to her friend's home insisting him to take his dinner on time bcoz she cd be late nd took her dinner with them ,, Maan assured her nd DM left .

DM cdn't escape from KM so easily bcoz his G son cd find out that easily seeing her car there , so she sand her car with driver to her NGO with sweets nd snacks for d kids nd others staff ,, she told him to return when she called him ,, she left for OH nd met with Geet who was prep dishes in kitchen ,, DM adored her nd helped her ,, both prep d dinner nd then took lil rest ,, it turned dark nd Geet started burning candles in OH ,, nd then she went at terrace ,, deco that with flowers nd candles for pooja ,, lastly she went to freshen up nd to get ready for pooja .

She was looking breathtakingly beautiful in that lahanga ,, DM adored her nd made her wear all jewellery ,, she took many pics with her nd Geet's phone,, then both went on terrace ,, Geet did pooja nd DM told her d KC story ,, it was not that much grand which DM dream ,,no one was there to exchange d thali between d story ,but Geet did d ritual nd then they started to wait for Moon for final rituals .

Geet didn't have to wait for Maan ,so when Moon arrived in sky ,,Geet saw that through sieve nd did arti nd offer water ,,she touched DM feet who turned very sad again ,but Geet consoled her ,, both fed sweets to each other nd then took their dinner ,, DM showered her love on her nd then called her driver to reach KM ,, she left as they planned ,, after leaving DM Geet went to change nd looked at her in mirror ,, she became sad nd cried out over her luck ,, after pouring out her pain through eyes she changed in her night dress nd went again at terrace to get some fresh air .

There in KM one more soul was restless nd feeling alone ,, none was there to talk nd to share his heart ,, even DM too left ,,nakul asked for dinner but he refused ,, he got tired sitting whole day so at eve did some exercise nd then went on terrace where his family celebrated this day together ,, he came there after yrs , d terrace was same , a beautiful terrace garden was still maintained which was done by his Mom .

He remembered those days again nd started taking a stroll ,, lovingly touched d plants nd furniture ,, came near parapet nd looked at sky ,, d moon was shining in d sky ,, spreading its beauty surrounded with some clouds ,, he smiled thinking that tonight lots of ppl waited for it to get it's first look ,, this day made this Moon so imp that married women first see it nd then her husbands , he left a sigh nd then looked around ,, his eyes saw some lights lil away ,, it was OH lil away from KM ,, there was garden nd pool between them ,, he got confused seeing that light at OH terrace nd thought that OH was closed from yrs then who lit d lights there ? he scanned all around d OH roof nd find a figer near plants in a corner .

Maan self talk : who is there ?

Bcoz of plants nd shade he didn't get clear view of that figure , but his curiosity increased ,, who had come in KM nd living in OH ,, none talked about any guest then who was this person ,, any thief or any servant opened it ? But there r servents qrtr in KM then who is there at this time ?

Maan decided to check nd rushed down ,, he saw DM nd find her in bed ,, all servants had left for their qrtrs , he silently went to OH from kitchen door ,, crossed d pool nd lawn nd checked main door of OH,, unlocked ,Maan pressed d door but that was locked from inside ,, he got more confused ,, looked all around nd went back side ,, find a window open ,, he jumped nd climbed on window ,, get in ,but d room was dark ,, a dim light was coming from kitchen ,, maan went that side ,, again scanned all around ,, checked other room ,WR nd living hall ,, empty then he decided to went on terrace where he saw d figer ,, now he was sure that some one was hiding here .

He was about to took d steps but heard some sound in staircase ,, Maan hide near by nd waited .

After spending some time at terrace Geet felt relaxed ,, she felt cold too in that open night nd moved to come down ,, she went to recheck d all doors before going in bed.

She was in her own thoughts when suddenly felt a tug , she held her dupatta nd turned her face to check where her dupatta stuck , but next moment shout in fear .

Maan too got a shock when she turned at him nd startled with her loud fearful voice .

It took few sec for both to get hold on their shocked nd confused state ,, it was Maan who garnered himself 1^st nd came in his real form..

Maan :Tummm,, tum yahan kaise !!!! ( Youuu,, u here )

Geet : ******

Maan : jawad do , eese kya aankhen phaad kar dekh rahi ho ?( reply ,, why r u staring like this ) .

Geet was quiet nd staring at him , but she started running her mind ,, arguing inwardly ...

Geet puttar aaj to tu gai ,,finally esse pata chal hi gaya ki tu yahan hei ,, ab mai kya karu ? DM bhi nahi hei paas mei ,, pata nahi ye kaise behave karega ? gussa to pacca hei , dikh raha hei eski waddi waddi aanknon se ,, agar esne ess waqt tujhe yahan se jaane ko kaha to kya karegi ? etni raat kahan jayegi ,aur DM ,,, DM ko kya aur kaise samjhaygi ...

( Geet puttar u r finish today ,, finally he got that u r here ,, now what i'll do ? DM also not here , dodn't know how he'll behave ,, he is angry for sure ,, his big eyes wr showing ,, if he throw out I out at this time then what u'll do ? where u'll go at this night nd DM ,, how u'll manage DM ?)

Maan annoyed : duffer, say something .

Geet lost in her thoughts ..esne fir wahi drama start kiya to ki mai ye ghar chod kar ja raha hu tab ,,Geet puttar jaldi kuch soch ,, Babaji,, gadhi babaji ke bare mei nahi ess MSK ke bare mei soch esse kaise handle karna hei ,, dekh kaise gussa ho raha hei ,, tere din pure ho gaye Geet ...

( if he started d same drama that he's leaving d home if I m here then what u'll do ? Geet puttar think fast ,, Babaji ,, stupid not about Babaji but about this MSK ,, think to handle him ,, see how he is angry ,, ur end is near geet )

Nahi ,,nahi shant Geet, tujhe abhi bahot jeena hei ,, tu kar sakti hei , soch ,, soch ,, DM ne kaha hei face karne ko jaise pahale karti thi ,, haan ,, haan ,try karti hu ess khadoos ko face karne ki .. Geet halla bol .

Maan got more angry when Geet didn't reply ,, he held her arm nd shook her ,that jerk brought back Geet from her self conversation session .

Maan : ye gunge hone ka drama band karo aur jawab do , tum yahan kaise ?

Geet gulped hard nd opened her mouth to reply but voice which come out from her throat startled both .

Maan shocked : what ???? u r living here from that day ?

Maan shocked nd confused : but that day u promised me that u'll leave this house , then how u r here nd we didn't notice ?

Geet boost her courage nd reply : I promised nd did that ,,Mr Khurana I m not living in ur house , where u cn see me .

Maan looked at her in disbelief : what u had said , that is my house not this ?

Geet : yes this is OH , away from ur house .

Maan annoyed : don't play smart with words miss HP ,,u cheated nd broke ur promise , u ..

Geet : dare u , don't call me a cheater , nd I keep my promise,, this place is away from ur house ,, as i promised that night , I left nd never entered in that house ,,I never came in front of u .

With that reality Maan's temper raised ,, he felt that he was in dark nd this Geet nd DM fooled him ,, she was living next to him nd he didn't get ,, even when he asked about her all lied ,, even servants too ,, how V nd A didn't notice her ? What was happening in his house ?
