she seems very naive and innocent too which I like I'm only confuse with her language as she is in college

Actually when Geet was small when everyone call her Geet so it become her habit to call herself Geet.

Yash is her friend and so she call him Yash friend as he is her childhood friend and when she was small she is calling him like this.

Geet doesn't have any problem she is totally fine, she is just like this
