Prologue
Maan was aghast looking at Geet, his love. It was like time had stopped, fate was being cruel with them just then. As the poor girl sunk to the floor weeping in anguish, the powerful business tycoon felt utterly defeated. This was all a bad, evil dream. A dream which had shattered their beautiful world, had at least given them sorrow to the degree of causing a faint crack, a slight fog to loom over their happiness. Though he resolved to bring all the peace and happiness back in his mishti's life, maan feared not only for their well-being, but also for a life. The life which had started breathing, but perhaps wasn't destined to survive in the outer world.
