Lying here in d dark i keep in thinking ...what mistake i have done .. what is wrong with me ...why i m like this ... cursed ..

Is it a sin .. to love .. to live ..why i m not allowed .. to see even a small happiness .. of my own ...

Lying here .. in dark .. give me light ..give me love ..give me happiness .. O Lord .

Time passes, memories fade, feelings change, people leave, but hearts never forget .

When a day starts none cn predict that how it ended ,, many things cn change in a blink , than a day is much longer ..

Note... This is a fiction inspired by some facts and incidents from our surroundings . Geet was in her cabin nd arranging d files in order which wr dumped in pile nd she had to search from all to get any particular file if Maan asked , she cursed Tasha under her breath for this perfect work , she didn't know why MSK talked about perfection when his smart nd extra mod PS handling his work like this ? Haathi ke Daant khane ke aur , dikhane ke aur ,, she was eagerly waiting for d call after that she cd think about her plan for another hit , but what if DM recognized her ? she nd MSK's mom saw her ,, right now she had to disguise her for few days to get d whole grip on her plan ,,Geet's chain of thoughts broke with d buzzing of land line phone ,, her heart hopped she felt nervous ...

Other side : hello , miss Tasha , hum Dadimaa bol rahe hein .

Geet took a deep sigh , nd replied : hello, who's DM ?

DM heard a diff voice :is there MSK's PS Tasha ?

Geet: yes i m MSK's PS , but not Tasha , i m new appointment ma'am ,, sir told me about ur call for arranging a party .

DM: new PS , OK ,,, no prob , fine if Maan told u about d party , but cn u do this , u r new miss ?

Geet: miss Singh ,, i'll ma'am , u cn give me d details regarding place , menu , deco theme nd guest list .

DM: ok , that's fine , i'll brief that , but i want this party at our Khurana FH not in any hotel nd resort , cn u arrange there? it's lil away from Delhi.

Geet: khurana's FH , aammm , no prob ma'am give me d address nd other requirements u want for d party .

DM: good u seems very smart than Tasha , any way wrote down d things we want nd let me clear u that i want everything perfect ( geet rolled her eyes at d same dialogue ).

Geet: sure ma'am u won't get any chance to point at my work

Geet self talk ... Khurana 'll get a diff thing to think nd talk that u all will forget about party .

DM: ok wrote down ... this is a surprise party for my son nd DIL's marriage anni ,, so a beautiful cake , assorted chocolate d boxes for guests ,, orchid flowers in deco , *** number of guests , conti nd north Indian dishes in menu , rest u cn arrange nd cn ask us if u need ,, write down my phone number ********** nd add of FH is ... FH no.. 2* , Dera Mandi , Chattarpur Delhi .

Geet note down everything on her note pad then asked : date nd time ma'am nd what about invitation ?

DM: date it **th of this mnth nd time is eve 8:00 pm onwards ,, i'll send u d lists with mail ids nd phone numbers , nd plzz mention it a surprise party for d couple .

Geet , invitation will be from ur behalf aur someone else ?

DM: from Savitri Devi Khurana .

Geet: ok ma'am , i'll be in ur touch nd will give u all d progress .

DM: good , u cn take half day leave from office , i'll tell to MSK , OK .

Geet: thanks ma'am , i'll talk to sir .

DM: ok then , start ur work , i hope u'll do well .

Geet: thanks ma'am , i'll do my best , bye nd have a nice day.

Both cut d call nd Geet took a sigh of relief nd started running her mind to execute her plan along with d party ,, she need few hrs leave to visit d FH ,,she hide d recorder in d drawer nd went to MSK's room to take permission ,, she knocked nd entered after getting reply.

Geet: sir ur DM called nd briefed me , i need to go lil early to visit d venue ,, cn i ?

MSK didn look at her nd kept his eyes fix at file which was in his hands ,, he too wanted to send her away so agreed showing lil attitude.

MSK: hhmmm, ok, , but u have to arrange my schedule nd files before leaving ,, nd where is d H****** hotel's file ? see ur efficiency of work , hr passed , but u ...

Geet: here is d file sir , ( she placed d file on his table ) had to search d files from ur Tasha's perfectly arranged cabinet ,, sorry i m not perfect to search d needle from heap of husk .

MSK: what do u mean ?

Geet faked a smile: simple ,, i m not well smart to work in a very perfect office nd it's ppl,, need few days learn .

MSK: r u pointing at KC's perfection nd staff?

Geet : no , i m praising it's work style nd need time to learn from it .

MSK: but why i felt that u r mocking KC's perfection ?

Geet cursed him under her breath listening about KC's perfection again ... ess insaan ko perfection ka bhoot sawar hei , jo utarna padega .

Geet: how cn i sir , i m unknown to u nd ur KC ,, need to learn many things ,, anything else sir ?

MSK : aamm no ,, yes prepare d full payment record of this H******* hotel of last two yr nd handed me before leaving office ,, u cn go after this . .

Geet: OK, sure sir .

Geet went back nd checked his schedule of meetings ,, MSK had 2 outdoor business meetings in T***** resort,, she called him nd reminded him ,, at outdoor he went with his BGs , so she didn't think to go nd even Maan too didn't say her to come bcoz Adi was going with him ,, he wanted to keep her away from him so make Geet fix to make financial record which needed time nd then she wd go to check d venue ,, Maan himself didn't know that DM choose d venue their FH.

After informing MSK Geet started make d record nd again started checking d required files in file cabinets , but there was only current yr file nd records , for last 2 yrs records she need old files , so thought to ask Tasha ,, Geet went to Shasha's cabin where Tasha assist her ,, she knocked nd entered .

Geet: miss Tasha i need H******* hotels records files , where u kept d old files ?

Tasha: old files , but why u need them ?

Geet: MK sir asked for last 2 yrs records .

Tasha : all old files r in KC's archive , go nd search there .

Shasha who was listening their talks silently smirked nd her eyes narrowed thinking something .

Geet: KC's archive , where is that ?

Shasha annoyed: go nd search or ask to peon , don't disturb us , we have work nd need attention .

Geet: fine , nd thanks .

Geet went nd thought to ask Rambharose ,, after leaving Geet Shasha excused nd went out to freshen up nd ordered Tasha to finish some work ,, Tasha got busy nd Shasha went out .

Geet went to Rambharose nd asked about d KC's archive ,, RB narrated her ,, Geet went thanking him ,, d archive was in lower ground floor ,, there was parking at basement nd lower ground floor , but some space of LGF was covered in a big hall to keep all records of all KC's branches ,, this building was d head office of KC ,, 1^st floor was financial dept , 2^nd was tech team nd mess , 3^rd was for Md's offices , confr hall , visiting room , nd hod's offices ,, at top floor there was lift room , nd security room from where computers nd monitors r kept attached with cc cameras nd alarms .

Geet knew about d security room , but not about any archive ,, she thought that all depts had their files at their floors ,, she used d staircase from back side bcoz d archive was close to that , as RB narrated ,, she was looking here nd there to observe d surrounding ,, Geet guessed that it's d backside of d building nd front had parking ,, there wr sounds of centralised ac plant nd generators ,, d place was lil noisy nd messy too .

Geet opened d archive's door ,, switched on d light of d hall from side wall nd went ahead ,, there wr rows of racks full of files nd folders ,, she went in a row nd started to check ,, there was tag on d rack mentioning yr nd dept ,, means racks for old blueprints holders , contract files , employees records ,, KC's financial records , etc, etc ... ,, Geet moved more in to get d required yr files ,, she was engrossed in searching nd reached lil away from hall's door ,, she didn't know when d door had closed nd after few sec d light went off ,, there was pitch dark in d hall ,, Geet stopped at her place nd waited for d light ( auto on by generator back up) , but light didn't come ,, d exhaust fan too stopped nd it's flaps had closed ,,there was very lil light from a fixed frosted glass pane in a wall ,, Geet became tensed nd started crawling slowly towards d door ,, when she reached near d door she find that closed ,, tried to open that , but failed coz d door was closed from outside ,, then Geet realised that she didn't bring her phone with her too ,, that was in her jhola nd kept under her table ,, she bang d door nd shout for help ,but none come for help coz nobody was there to listen ,, time started passing in min nd then in hr , but there was no sign of light nd any help ,, geet was confused nd shocked that how door had closed nd after calling from long nobody was there to listen ,, her hands nd throat started paining bcoz of conti banging nd shouting for help ,, in between 2-3 times she touched her hidden revolver attached to her salwar belt , but she cdn't use it at this place ,, she cdn't open her identity ,, d fire from her pistol cd raise many Qs nd doubt on her , helpless she was only banging d door nd calling for help

More then an hr passed ,, Maan nd Adi went out for meeting ,, in their absence Shasha became d Queen of KC nd started showing her attitude on staff ,, there was a winning smile on her face ,, lunch break come nd passed but there was no sign of Geet in her office ,, once RB come in her cabin , kept d file on her table nd went ,, he asked about Geet to Shasha who was roaming between cubics nd she replied innocently that may be Geet went with MK nd Adi ,, RB too became assure even Tasha too thought d same ,, Shasha made him busy with other works .

Time was passing terrible for geet nd pleasant for Shasha nd Tasha ,,both wr chatting on FB to kill d time ,, lastly after hrs KC staff started leaving , nd all floors became deserted ,, in d winter weather day became shorter nd sun set early ,, it turned dark nd cold outside ,, ppl gen tried to kept them warm ,, security men from main gate changed , after closing d main gate of KC building d night watchmen burn d fire in an old steel bucket nd started keeping them warm in that chilled weather in their security room ,, after office hr there wr only those 2 watchmen in that premises ,, d very perfect watchmen of KC hardly come out from their room in winter after closing d big gate nd barrier ,, d boundary light was on nd d cc cameras from all 4 corners of boundary walls wr displaying d pics on monitor screen in security room at d gate ,, both wr watching at d screen in intervals nd then started listening their hindi songs on mobile radio FM with their chitchat ,, they wr unaware that there was one more person present in that building .
