Chandigarh ( A Public Park near to Airport where hardly anyone came during weekdays )

Around 4.00 PM

A middle aged man looking too much miffed..While pacing back and forth like he was waiting for someone..Also was not alone there...

Just near by him a girl probably in her teens...She was sitting on park bench putting her face down...trembling , shaking like any dry leaf...might it be all due to any fear she was going through..

After waiting for little time one more person appeared in the scene..An utterly surprised young man back called "Mr. Brij Handa !! " he pressed his lips together,raised eyebrow..his facial expressions were reflecting his confusion...listening to own name( Brij ) that man who was already there turned around...

"Oh !! tum...nani nahi aap ...aap aa gaye...bahut badda ehsaan kiya aapne..." Brij taunted ballistically but folded both hands in front of him...

So that young man was Maan Singh Khuraana..With perfect features , great height but with lean body..Why all of them were gathered here ? What happened after all.

" Why you called me here at such a short note...? You warned me that matter is such which can't just ruin my career but also Khuraana's reputation will be at stake...That's why I came by next flight from Bangalore when you phoned me..." In anxiety Maan was getting sweaty..he asked...

"You are right Maan...I can do anything..you came that's good for you...otherwise I would have contacted your family.." He tapped at Maan's shoulder warning him...

" And reason I did so..its in front of u..dekho isko" Brij looked daggers at Maan and dragged him toward the girl...till now who hadn't responded once...sitting like any statute..

In awe Maan's eyes popped out...Struck dumb he was totally shocked "Geet here !! with you..and what do you mean she is the reason..?" ...He continued...

..." I just know her becoz she was my batch mate in that workshop held in Jalandhar ...Where students from different institutes worked together...And you also because I hit your jeep accidentally near to that workshop place...jiske liye maine 20,000 ka compensation diya tha...Per yeh aapke saath..." He recreated each and everything scene... how that happened detail wise...But why these two people were side by side...words failed him and still he was thinking..

"So you remember everything and both of us especially...But why are you this much shocked to seee us together...This girl is my niece this is the reason...The day you hit my jeep ...I was there to pick her...samjhe aab..."much aggressive Brij disclosed the relation he shared with that girl whose name was Geet..

" Oh !! " he rested his hands on waist "Hogi aapki niece...isse mera ya vaasta(contact)..jo aapne yeh sabh kiya mere saath ?" In that frustration Maan burst...

"Maine kya kiya..? Jo kiya sabh tum logon ne hai..left everyone behind ..Now results which came due to that great achievement this girl has no right to stay in my house for a while.." He twitched/pulled her hair many times...

"Everything is now upon you...yeh khud (herself) yahan hai..iska suitcase yahan hai...Iska kya karna hai aab tum per hai.? Per hamari koi rishta nahi isse aab "With one hand he threw Geet's suitcase and with other one he grabbed Geet's hand and pushed her toward Maan with brutality n inhuman way...like going to eat her alive..

But in jiffy Maan held her in his arms..Supported her she stumbled..Her heart was sinking n was breathing heavily..Geet looked in his eyes with some hope..Where once twinkle of joy,naughtiness, a spark to fulfill her dreams were there in beautiful hazal eyes as Maan remembered...Who could mesmerize any one...Now those eyes overflowed begged to have some pitty ,some support.But why ?

"How could you do this..You are really insane ? Jaanwar hai aap..aise kaise behave kar rahe hai...? And you imposing her on me. Why should I take her responsibility...She is your daughter..I have no concern with her...?" Maan blew a fuse when Brij declared that which he could never imagine...What was Brij upto ?

"Ya she is our family's daughter...but not mine..." he burst in anger...

He was teetering around while telling all this..Blaming Geet by his raised finger every time he talked about her...

" Her father he had been paralyzed from years and mother she is another burden on us..So its alone me who are looking after all three ...Till now I did everything...Abb aur nahi...meri bhi beti hai...uska viah (shaddi) bhi karna hai...isko apne saath rakh-kar apna muh kaala nahi karvaana...le jaao isko...ja isse shaddi kar lo..." He dropped a bombshell on Maan while he disclosed what relation he actually shared with Geet. She was just a burden on him...He had no love for her and now declined to take responsibility for her future...

What Brij told after that to Maan had been caught unawares...There was no way to come out of it as he had been trapped..Scared stiff he brushed his hair...Tongue tied Maan had no words to express...

Brij gave mocking smile "So Mr. Maan Singh Khuraana...heir to such big empire in whole country...What is your decision...? You will take her with you or other way is to contact your family..."

Brij still keep on making him scapegoat " I also have one more option...hamari badnaami (disgrace) hogi theek hai per humko kon jaanta hai bus aas pass k kuch log...But what about your family and ur business...? Kahi ka nahi choduga (not let you go ) tumko.." he screamed..laughed away at Maan's situation

"Ya I accept what I did...not just me she was also with us in that party...Then why you are making me only victim...blackmailing me...I just turned 19...only 3 months back...how could I marry her..? Also I am in just my first year of B.Tech...uska kya...mera career barbaad ho jaaaega..please kuch sochiye...?" Tears were dripping down to his cheeks..He bent on knees folded both his hands in front of him..

Brij moved ahead and dragged Geet in front of Maan "Iska kya...? huh what about her career that has been already destroyed , ruined off ...Jo karna hai karo...just pardon me I am going..." That emotionless person left even without looking back once at the girl who was his own blood..

At last she reacted..screamed aloud...asking him not to leave her.." Chachu ...chachu...please don't leave me like this...don't part me away from my parents .." she ran behind...but no effect on Brij ...

Geet fell almost unconscious...She was rubbing her legs on ground... nodding her head...screaming...saliva coming out of her mouth...Which terrified Maan to extreme who himself was a teenager...Didn't have seen anything like this in his boyhood...

He was gazing her without blink...Mouth open in surprise when Geet again screamed he came back to senses...How could he leave alone her..? Someone known...who needed him...His mind suddenly worked he found ambulance number on his mobile web in Chandigarh and called them..In five minutes ambulance came until Maan tried to bring her back to senses petting her cheeks ...Wiped her sliva with her dupatta...When ambulance came he picked her suitcase in hurry and also accompanied to hospital ..

Where he came to know she was under fit...Could be an epilepsy fit...? After she regained her senses.she told doctor this happened first time ...Never till now happened such...What to do now Maan had been totally trapped...? He had 3 days of leave after lying to his institute authorities that his maternal uncle was seriously ill ..In reality he was due to heart surgery 2 months back but he was recovering...

Now same maternal uncle whose name helped him to be here...He only came in Maan's mind as only hope...He was at top rank professional in private firm and now coincidentally had been appointed near to Bangalore ...Maan called him..

Cried his heart out..Because Maan's had lost his parents in childhood just had Daddi...He always remined very close to his Maama Sudesh Arora...According to him there was no other option for Maan except to take Geet to Bangalore...

It was too difficult for him still he was compelled due to circumstances... Because for her he can't stay here due to his degree course...on which his whole career depended...On other side he couldn't leave her alone...Even his Mamma was not allowed for air travel...

Same day till evening Geet showed improvement in her physically condition...but mentally she had been totally shattered... Maan was not allowed to take her...Dr. was not ready to provide permission note for her to travel by plane ...

Here again maamu came as an angel..He used his contacts and next day Maan took Geet to Bangalore...As per Mr. Sudesh's instructions Maan took Geet to hospital as they landed in Bangalore

Maan grabbed her hand and pulled her out of taxi as reached outside Life Care Hospital "Challo aab meri taraf kya dekh rahi ho" Irritated he blasted on her

She gazed him..even with her silence, her eyes asked him so many questions ? Her tears were expressing the pain she was bearing alone...Sadness of that pair of eyes were speaking out what she wanted to say..He tried to read out but couldn't..Even he didn't want..He was totally numb..According to him she was culprit for whole all this...What was happening to him...
