Dev didn't want this but fate decide something else. He hold the command of KGI but his problem is to face Maan. He know how he react seeing him there.
Doc called him. Maan was awaked and troubling them. Dev not want to,but left no choice. Maan was laying silent and lifeless.
Already he was not inself after Geet left him and now his body. His frustration was at peak. He wasn't ready to accept this. This helplessness. It was hard blow on his ego. Dev entered in his room with doctor. Both glance each other.
"Why you are here?"Maan yelled.
"for you and our companies." Dev replied straight.
"huhh... Not for me. You came here to overtake my companies. You want revenge." Maan cursed him.
"you know everything then why asking?" Dev pissed off and snap back.
"dont you dare." Maan tried to get up but failed as his lower part not supporting him. But he dont give up and wants to hit him. Seeing him go wild doctor signaled his compunders. They hold his arms firm and he filled he injection quickly. After giving him injection all left the room.
"doc how much time he will need?" Dev get impatient.
"you see how his temper is. If he goes like this then i can't give u any assurity. He is not ready to cooperate and it will only harm him." Doc told him clearly,not giving any false hopes.
Dev tensed more. He wants to run away as soon as possible but cant leave responsibilities he had on his shoulders. 3 months passed. Maan's body wounds recovered but he was on wheel chairs. His pralyzise problem was same like before. Infact his right arm not even work properly. For his situation he cursed Dev only,when ever he saw him. His rage,his anger only increasing day by day. Whenever he open is mouth only spitt venom on his servants, doctors and his brother. Dev alone bearing all the torture of facing is wrath and suppressing his anger towards him. No one he have in his life with whom he can share his pain and turmoils.
"Doc pls do something and cure him at any cost." he pleads for his freedom.
"we tried our level best. But he is not supporting at all. Now this case is out of our hands. We did everything. This case of your brother now only be cured by Dr. Asthana." he told,giving ray of hope.
"then what are you waiting for? Called him. I will pay any thing for his treatment. Bas bro ko theek kar de."Dev want him cured as soon as possible.
"Dr. Asthana yaha nahi aayenge. He is very different man. You have to go to him. Wo apna hospital chhod k yaah nahi aayege. We have to shift Mr. Khurana to his hospital." He told him clearly.
"ok i am ready. You ask him and we shift bro there." Dev agreed.
"but his hospital Institute is not here. We have to shift him to Pune."
"no issue." he agreed.
"alright then. I will talk to him."Doc assured him.
When all arrangements done he informed Dev. He complete all the formalities and reached hospital to took Maan from there. Staff helped him and they reached to their private plane. "you are getting relief seeing me like this. Hai na. That time you were helpless and today i am. You must enjoying my condition." Maan again spitt venom on Dev.
Dev gave one magzine in his hand. "bro read this. I have some work." he moved to other side. After landing on their private aerodrome,he took seprate car, want some peace. Its been 4 month when he last saw and talk with Meera. Some where he missed his friend who understand and help him at every weak moment of his. Dev was looking at his phone. Not sure about his reaction. Last time she mistook him. He flipping his phone between his fingers. But he need to share his going through with some one so he dialled her no. Doubts were there. Wheather she take his call or not. Ring goes on but no answer. He was about to dump the call when he heared soft voice on other side. "hello... Meera..you there?" he asked.
"Dev you called, any thing important?" She asked casually.
"how are you?" he disappointed hearing her tone but hold himself calm.
"Dev i am in a office. If you call to ask this only then we talk later." she replied rudly.
Dev hurts and cursed him for calling her. He wants to through his phone out. He just bear abusive words from Maan and now she to treated him in a same way. He roamed his finger to cut the call when he hears one more sound from other side. "Meera come. Doc is calling you." it was her friend Sophie's voice. Hearing the word Doc his ears alerts.
"you lied. You said you are in office. Then why doc calling you." Dev suspects and interrogate strongly.
"no...wo...i am not lying." she was stammering. "actually in our office every employe need to give medical fitness test,half yearly. That's why doc is here. I have to go Dev." she told briskly and cut the call,before he asked more.Same time his row of cars stops.They reached to Hospital. His driver informed him. "Sir we reached." Dev's attention diverted to Maan again.
One junior doc and some staff came with them. He contact with the staff of hospital and they all took Maan carefully. Dev got busy with all and forgot about his conversation with Meera. Now his priority was Maan.
One junior doc came to examine him and for other paper work. He took other doc came with them and Dev with him.
"Excuse me Dr. I would like to meet Dr. Asthana first." Dev demands.
"Sorry mr. Khurana he was out of town due to one seminar." He informed Dev and his face turn gloomed.
"What? He wasn't here. Then why you guys don't inform us. Now who will treat my brother? We only came here and now you telling me that Dr. Asthana is not here. Wow." Dev get hyper on their unprofessional behavior.
"Please sir don't get hyper. Your brother will get best treatment here. He wasn't here but his daughter Dr. Naina is here and she will handle this case. Dr. Asthana ko emergency me jana pada. Halaki previous planned hi hote hai seminars but college need in urgency and dr. Asthana had to left. But don't worry he will come back soon and in meantime Dr. Naina will handle this case. Trust me she is very good doctor. I am sure we get some positive results with her treatment. Or tab tak to Dr. Asthana aa hi jayenge." He assured and tried to calm him.
"Alright."
"But sir we need you here. You have to talk Dr. Naina because she needs patient's family members to study his case."
"I will meet her. Where is she?"Dev agreed and Doc show him the way to her cabin.
