6 months had passed. Geet had completed her master's and was working in financial services sector in London.

Geet woke up for her daily routine. She looked at the date and got lost.

Geet(Selfthought): It has been 6 months since that incident. I just can't take that image out of my mind. I still remember, Maan. I was so happy on this day as finally I was about to confess my love for you. Wanted to give you a surprise so I decided to take you out on a special date. I had arranged everything so perfectly. But when I reached your hotel room I was shocked to see the scene in front.

How could you do this Maan. How could you...

She had tears in her eyes which were dripping down now filling her face.

After sometime she stood up and got ready for her office.

While she was on her way, her cell phone rang.

Geet: Hey, Meera. How are you. You are calling me after ages... Where have you been? Now you remember that I still exist.

Meera: Oh Geet, I am fine. Actually pretty good. What are you saying... I am lost... You have been lost from 6 months, Madam... Looks like you and Maan are spending your time pretty good...

Geet's voice held up. She couldn't utter a word. What could she tell her... The way others thought... that was not the case... 6 months before, today an incident took place that had changed both of their lives. Both of them didn't share anything from there family... Everytime her family wanted her to get married... She would make an excuse and Ram and Maira also didn't pressurise them, since Maan didn't say anything and currently was busy in his projects.

Geet: Umm Meera, I will call you later... Going for work. Will get late...

Meera realised her change in voice. First she was so excited and now...

Meera: Are you okay Geet?

Geet: Yeah Meera.. What will happen to me...

Meera didn't want to push her so asked her to call when she is free.

Geet shut the phone off and moved towards a nearby bench..

She just sat down and automatically tears came in her eyes... She started crying sofly...

Geet(selfthought): I don't want to believe anything that happened on that day but that image...

On the other side

A person standing nearby called

Person: Sir she was on her way to work like everyday, but after a call she is sitting on a nearby bench. She doesn't look well.

At the moment that's person's eyes filled with pain, regret. He was reminded of the date today...He came back and asked the person to not to leave her alone and follow her like he was doing for the past 6 months.

Maan(self-thought): Geet why didn't you come to me. After seeing everything you just ran. I tried to call you back but you were in not in your senses. You said one sentence and I am bearing the pain of it. I still remember those words... "Maan I don't want to talk to you, Please don't call me unless I do. And don't follow me." Still I couldn't leave you on your own, that's why I appointed a body guard who watches you over in my absence. I can't see you in any sort of problem now. Before this whole incident my day started with your voice and eneded with it. You were like fuel to my soul. And now It has been 6 months... Geet I want to make you believe that I am not wrong... Whatever you saw that day is not the truth. But Some how your insecurities always come in between our trust.

Later at evening at around 7pm Geet's cell rang

Geet: Oh hi papa, how are you?

Mohinder: Yeah I am good

Geet: How is mama?

Mohinder: She is good as well...How are you? You didn't call us today...

Geet: oh yeah papa... got a bit busy...

Mohinder: Geet beta... kabhi rest bhi kar liya karo... when ever I call you are working... You should enjoy at this age... That reminds me when is your graduation ceremony?

Geet had totally forgotten about the ceremony. Maan was so excited when he had heard the date earlier. He was so happy for her and now she is alone and she didn't even want to celebrate it.

Mohinder: kaha kho gayi

Geet: Kuch nahi papa... Graduation ceremony is day after tomorrow.

Mohinder: Oh okay... okay then take care.. I will call you later... and is Maan okay na?

Geet: He must be...

Mohinder: What do you mean... Is everything okay between you too...

Geet: Yeah, papa, everything is fine...

Mohinder: hmmm

Geet: okay papa.. I will call u later..

Mohinder: bye...

The day ended with both of their hearts in grief.

Next day Geet went for work.

Her colleague Daina felt that Geet was down today, so she took her out on the pretext of shopping for her big day...

Geet got hands on a beautiful white dress for the graduation day.

Geet: ohh Diana... you are seriously are a gem

Diana: No need Geet, some time we need some girly time...

Diana smiled at her...

Diana and Geet met on first day at office when she was called for an interview and Geet as usual very nervous and underestimating herself. Diana gave her the support and encouragement and helped her through the process. After that when she joined as a member, their friendship became stronger. But still Geet couldn't open too much...

After eating some fast food, Diana wasn't in the mood to go home yet so she asked Geet to come along with her to a famous club nearby.

Geet also didn't have anything to do so she agreed.

They reached the club and sat at the bar. Geet didn't want to have anything so she just accompanied Diana. Diana after sometime saw an old friend and started dancing with him, leaving Geet.

Geet moved to the sofas at the other end with less light and started checking updates on her cell phone.

While she was busy doing that and keeping an eye on Diana her eye catched a familiar face and rage rushed to her eyes.

She stood up and went to the dancing area.

She tapped the shoulder of the girl.

The girl was shocked to see her and excused the person she was dancing with.

They came to a spot where there was less noise.
