Geet came running into the house.. She was breathing uneven, more than that her heart... It was beating as if it will jump out of her body any moment.
As she reached the door, she steadied herself as her to-be-saasuma is sitting there.
She walked in slowly, and all turned to look at her...
Avantika : Geet bete.. Aap akeli aayi..! Maan kaha hai..?
The mention of Maan made her mare shy and nervous than she actually was... Specially now in when she sees him under the light of their new relation. She bit her lips to control her nervous and shy self, already so much gadbad and drama happenned.
Geet : ji wo... Bhaiiiya k saath hai bahr.
All nodded.
There was an awkward silence for next couple of minutes, elders were sitting while Geet was standing there, none spoke a word.
Finally mr handa spoke up...
Mr Handa : Geet jaao beta.. Apne room me rest karne.
Avantika : haan haan... jaao beta... thak gayi hogi.
With that she came up and patted her head like blessing her...
Avantika : I'm eagerly waiting for the day you enter my house as my bahu.
On that Geet bent to touch her feet, obviously after recieving her mom's ishara for the same.
Avantika blessed her whole-heartedly, and Geet left to her room...

Rahul had been really agitated since the moment he left Geet alone with Maan... He didn't like the idea at the first place... Not because he believed in old customs like Handa uncle or didn't trust Maan... He was quite cool about couple meeting and talking before marriage, knowing each-other... But when things came to his sister all logics failed (typical possessive Indian bro 😡)
As soon as he reached back the house leaving them in garden, he was all set to run back, to know what they're talking or maybe just see what Maan is saying and how he's taking things forward coping up lossing his love.. Ohh he was going crazy...
Mr handa : Rahul beta..
Rahul : ji uncle.. Mai abi Geet ko waps le kar aata hu..
And he turned to leave, but Mr Handa stopped him.
Mr handa : no beta let them talk for some-time.. I was just asking if they are comfortable.
And he gave foolish smile to Avantika who was looking at Rahul's weird behaviour since he entered here.
Mr handa (to Avantika) : wo Geet ko bahut chahta hai bachpan se... Kissi ko uske pass nahi jaane deta.. Possessive bhai.
He tried to do damage control as rahul's behaviour was going very weird.
Avantika : koi baat nahi bhai sahab... Isse bhi mann ki tassalli ho jaye... Waise uski zyada zarurat nahi padni chahiye.. Rahul toh Maan ka bachpan ka dost hai..
That's when Rahul realised he is Maan's friend too... But that doesnot give him liberty to marry his sister when he loves some other gal...
Mr handa : ohh hame toh nahi pata tha..
And elders got busy in sharing Maan-Rahul k friendship ka kissa... While Rahul's eyes didn't leave the watch.
Finally after like 20 minutes they were done and asked him to get Maaneet back.
And he just ran without even bothering to listen the whole of it 😆
Rahul was at the enterance of the garden when he saw Maan very close to Geet... No actually leaning on her... Or is he kissing her..??
Rahul (st): Maan!!! How dare him..!! Pyaar kissi aur ko karta hai aur kiss meri behen ko...!! I will not leave him 😡
And he started walking fast or better to say running towards them.
As soon as he reached there he heard Maan saying "Geet tumhe kuchh aur puchhna hai"
At other times he would have been impressed, but right now that kiss totally stole all his attention and interrupted them.
He sent Geet away as he didn't want more delay in confronting Maan but in all that he didn't miss their sweet eye-lock moment. (me thinking ye Rahul padhai k tym itna sharply obsereve karta toh CA bann jata 😡)
Finally Geet was out of their sight and he was well aware of Maan's not so good expressions seeing him...!
He took a deep breath in not to shout on Maan as he's gonna be his jiju.. Whatever may be the matter but he has to be in the limit of that relation.
Rahul : jiju can we talk... Iff you are free..?
Maan (st) : isko kya hua hai...? 😕 he's so calm.. Kahin ye toofaan k pehle hone wali shanti toh nahi hai..??
Haan yess... Rahul tu mujhse aise kyu baat karr raha hai..?
Rahul : i will not take much of your precious tym.
Maan : Rahul ye kya bol raha hai..? Where did all this formalities come from...?
Rahul : i'm sorry jiju... It's ok if u cannot talk to me. I can understand u must b busy.
Maan metally banged his head at his talks...
Maan(st) : uff abb isko kaise manau..? He's angry... I swear girl-friend ko manana shayad Rahul ko manane se easy hota hoga...
Maan : fine... First sit and say..!!
He decided to hear his complaints out first... Then take action, both sat on the bench where Maaneet were sitting few minutes before.
Maan : now say...
Rahul : jiju...
But Maan cut him before he could continue...
Maan : first cut this jiju crap.. And speak only if you'r talking to your friend Maan.
Rahul : i can't😳
Maan : Rahul pls yarr...
Rahul : PLZ WHAT MAAN...? WHAT PLS...? JABSE TUM YAHA AAYE HO TUMHARE TAMSHE DEKH RAHA HU... SUBAH TAK DEVDAS BANE FIRR RAHE THHE.. AUR FIR ACHANAK SE KYA HO GAYA...? TELL ME AISA KYA HO GAYA...?
Maan didnt reply... As he wanted to let him speak and then clear all the things between them.
Rahul : TUMNE TOH AUNTY K LIYE SHADI KO HAAN BOLA THA NA...? FIRR EK PAL ME AISA KYA HO GAYA..? DID U FELL FOR GEET, YOUR FIANCEE AT FIRST SIGHT...? THEN WHAT ABOUT THE GIRL YOU LOVED ALL THESE YEARS..? DID YOU JUST FORGET HER.. THAT TOO IN SECONDS...!!
OK LEAVE ALL THAT... U WERE SUPPOSED TO TALK WEN U WERE LEFT ALONE HERE WITH HER... THEN WHAT WAS THAT..?
Maan : what are u talking about..? Come straight.
Rahul : bano matt Maan... I saw u close to her... So near... As if you were...
I don't think i should complete this... You sure have understood...
Maan was hell shockked at his accusations and didn't come up to speak anything for some-time.
Rahul : ABB AISE CHUP KYU HO...? SPEAK-UP DAMN IT.. I NEED ANSWERS. HOW DARE U DO THAT TO MY SISTER..???
Maan : BASS... ENOUGH!!! ENOUGH RAHUL...

With that Maan walked away, leaving Rahul alone to realize what he did to his best friend in haste.

Maan walked back to Handa villa... Anyway they are to leave now..
The day had been a roller-coaster ride for him, starting off with the sadness of loosing his love to the happiness of getting back the same.. Followed by the first-ever fight with his best friend.
Maybe people are right when they say woman and wealth are the only reason for all the fights big or small around the world..
He sighed... No-no what is he thinking..? How can Geet be reason of his fight with Rahul... Its just the stupid miss-understanding. He tried to hide his sadness as Handa's may feel bad seeing him like that.
He reached inside...
Maan : mom..?
Avantika : Maan... Tumlog ki baatien khatam ho gayi..?
Maan nodded.
Avantika : ok then let's leave...!!
(to Mr. Handa) : chaltey hai samdhiji... Abb toh milna laga hi rahega tab takk hamari beti aapki amanat hai.
With that they took a leave and left their house.
While Maan and Avantika were returning to their house... One question was not letting Maan rest in peace...
And that question is...
"shadi kabb hai..??"
He decided to ask his mom, but was very nervous.. He faked a cough to gain her attention before starting..
Maan : umm... Mom wo aagey ka plan kya hai..?
Avantika : ghar ja k first thing i'm doing is sleep.. I'm hell tired.
She said as a matter of fact.
Maan : nahi... Wo i'm asking about shadi.
Avantika : ohh... Tumne hi toh kaha tha things are moving fast so i told Mr Handa that "shadi ki koi jaldi nahi hai... Let's postpone it to nxt year... Maan is very busy..!"
Maan : WHATT...!! 😲
Avantika : kya hua beta..? Thik kiya na maine..?
Maan (st) : when did I say I'm busy...?
Haan mom.. Aapne kaha hai toh thik hi hoga..!!!
Maan's heart : ye kya kiya..? Shadi 1 saal k baad... how will I wait soo long..?😭😭
Mind : rona bandh karr... mujhe thodi na pata tha its Geet I'm getting engaged to
Heart : umm...😭😭
In all this Maan didn't realize when they reached their home.
