On d other side of d room Geet was sitting on d settee clutching her dupatta in her fists ,, looking blankly on d wall ,, many emotions nd thoughts wr clouding in her mind nd heart ** why Babaji gave her this helpless life ,, she is bounded to bear d things which her heart didn't accept ,, for d sake of her relatives nd most importantly for Dadima she is living here otherwise what she has here ? She is living a fake life ,, she is all alone nd don't have anybody to whom she cd share her pain * Maan Singh Khurana , her so called husband came after months to thank her for taking care of his beloved Dadima for whom he married her ,, nd what about me ? in this period he never come to ask me how i'm nd who was taking care of me? what wr my requirements nd needs? I'm also alone nd how i'm managing my life this thing never bothered him , huhhh ,, thanks , double faced man ,, grrr,,, I hate this .

She groaned in anger, her eyes rurned teary ,, his few words spoiled her mood nd didn't want to touch d books ,, she got up , switch off d light nd lay down on her small bed cuddling to herself with a heavy heart ,, some warm drops fell down from d corner of her eyes nd lost in d pillow ,, thinking about her wrecked life she slept after some time .

From next morning Maan was all set nd he caught her outside d washroom when she was coming out after shower ,, holy mother ,,, she was looking so pure ,soft ns adorable ,, he was mesmerized nd Geet was shocked by his sudden appearance ,,Geet was stepping back , her eyes wr on him nd he was reducing d gap taking steps towards her ,, Geet's back hit d door behind her , startled she looked back nd then at him ,, their eyes met ,, his deep honey brown eyes captivating her ,, they didn't realize how close they wr in this daze state ,, his instance sight wr boring deep in hr heart ,, Geet was losing in his proximity ,, Maan was lost in those almond eyes , he lifed his hand nd removed d loose strands from her face which wr blocking her full view ,, his finger grazed on her skin , Geet shuddered feeling that touch , she blinked her lashes lost in his eyes ,, Maan too was lost in her nd spoke in tranc ,,, ku naraaz ho ,, ku mujhe avoid ker rahi ho ?

Jaane do mujhe ,,, nahi , pahale bolo ye gussa ku ? mujhse baat kun nahi kerti ho ,, ku durr bhagi ho mujhse ?

Kuch nahi kahana hei mujhe ,, jaane do .

Nahi pahale jawab ,,, Dadima ki coffee deni hei ,,,pahale mera jawab do ,,, nahi dena mujhe koi jawab ,, durr raho mujhse ,, Geeett ,,, she pushed him lil nd went away ,, Maan looked at her hurt.. etni nafrat ,, after few min all wr there on d BF table ,, d BF was quiet peaceful .

Geet came nd sat near Dadima as usual ,, both r d big support for each other .

Geet: relax Dadima ,aaj ki subha kafi shant rahi .

Dadima: lekin eve nahi lagti .

Geet: wo bhi ho jayegi ,, aap jyada matt socho ,, Dadima aap kai dino se NGO aur apne club nahi gaye ,, ku ?

Dadima: bas sab set ho jaye to hum free ho jaye .

Geet: ab kya baaki hei ?

Dadima: humari taraf se to kuch nahi lekin hume iss NT per bharosa nahi ye Maan ke samne kuch galat na bol de , she has a big mouth .

Geet thought that if Maan cd welcome her in KC then he cd bear her nonsense too,, after all he was his bro nd she was his loving bro's wife, mod nd well educated form abroad not from any village ,, his strict nd hi-fi rules wr only for me not for his family ,, her heart felt a pang nd eyes started burning , but she composed herself.

Geet: Dadima , kuch nahi hoga , aap chinta matt karo aur apne NGO ka round lekar aao aur friends se milo ,, eve ki eve mei dekhna abhi se ku tension lete ho ,, apki tension ab mera BP badhane lagi hei ,, so plzzz don't stress yourself .

Dadima understood her concern ,, it only Geet n Maan who wr thinking about her health othwer wise Dev & NT didn't ask about her health in last 2 days , they wr only thinking about them ,, she gave a weak smile nd nodded in a yes to Geet , caressed her cheek lovingly ,, Geet's selfless love nd care eased her worried heart nd mind ,, both chatted ,then left for their respective work .

That eve was same full of NT's complaints but Dadima nd Maan didn't give any heed to her blabbering ,, then Maan went to his stydy nd Dadima to her room to avoid d further talk ,, Geet was listening all their talks in d kitchen coldly ,, she was doing all her work mechanically nd left for her room after taking her meal .

Next morning Maan left for his business tour ,, circumstances also testing him nd keeping him away form KM nd Geet but he was unaware that this physical distance was bringing him mentally close to Geet ,, he started thinking about her .

Days started rolling ,, with Maan nd Dadima's strictness Dev-NT started spending time in KC nd forcefully learn many things .

Every passing day Geet was drifting away from d family ,, in front of Geet NT gen showed her superiority nd some time commented on Geet for her belonging to village nd low std, but Geet didn't reply nd argue back to her ,, she was observing her nature nd thought that Dadima is there nd she'll reply NT if she want ,, she didn't want to spoil d family peace for these crap things ,, Geet saw that Dadima ignored many useless things regarding NT nd Dev so she did like her nd immune herself leaving everything on Dadima nd Maan .

On d other side Dadima thought that Geet was d elder DIL nd she cd reply back NT if she felt anything wrong ,, she knew Geet's sober n simple nature nd took her silence +ive thinking that she is doing this to avoid any rough talk with NT ,, Maan too avoided d extra talks nd kept him busy , for him Dadima was there to handle d family matters ,, he very rarely got glimpse of Geet nd her indifference was making him restless ,, her isolation forced him to think about her nd go near her ,, sometime he went near her window to get her glimpse which sooth him for some time ,, he was hell busy in his work nd business tours ,, every week he went on tour for 2-3 days to his diff branches , as well as he was planning to start new branch office in d newly develope industrial city of Rudrapur ( UKhand ) where he got 2-3 projs ,, he wanted to give this office charge to Dev.

Everybody in d family was secured at their places except Geet ,, though Dadima helped her to stand on her feet but she felt herself insecure ,, she felt herself out of family ,, there is only nd only Dadima for her ,, she didn't have any hope from her earlier home of HP bcoz whenever they talked to her only reminded her d fact ... they had completed their responsibility nd now everything is in her hand to handle her life nd to keep d respect of both d family but d ugly truth was that she didn't have her family .

Geet had a healthy amount in her account nd now getting regular income form her land ,, she wanted to develop her rest of land so that she checked her bank balance * on d other side Arjun was planning to start his new business in his hometown Nainital ,, he had a big house there ,, he got a very good offer from his caretaker cum broker ,, it was an under construction resort , d owner was an NRI who was in some trouble nd wanted to sell it ASAP in very low price ,, Arjun liked d project but he was in short of money * few days slipped away nd he was trying hard to get d money , Annie nd he was discussing d matter in d office when Geet reached there to meet them ,, finding them tense she asked d reason.

Geet: kya hua app dono etne pareshan ku ho ?

Annie : nothing Geet bas Arjun thoda tense hei ?

Geet: ku ,, sab theek to hei na..? Dadi to theek hei ?

Annie : haan wo theek hein , wo kuch business matter hei ,, tum batao kaisa chal raha hei ?

Geet: sab theek hei , lekin Arjun esse tense acche nahi lag rahe ,, jyada prob hei kya ?

Annie looked at Arjun nd huffed : kya kahu Geet ,, mai manna ker rahi hu ki es project ko chod de ,, fir kabhi soch lenge jab sufficient amount hoga lekin eska dil wahin per atka hei ,, khud bhi tense hei aur mujhe aur Dadi ko bhi ker raha hei .

Geet: money prob hei to bank se loan le lo ,, prob kya hei ?

Arjun: wo nahi ho sakta kiddo , mai already ess branch ke liye loan le chukka hu .

Geet: Oh ,, she too became thoughtful .

Annie: Arjun , hum aage kabhi plan ker lenge ,, abhi ess resort plan ko drop ker do,, plzz .

Geet: kitna amount chahiye aapko Arjun ?

Arhun: kaafi hei dear ,, near 40-50 lakhs .

Geet: mai kuch help karu ?

Arjun: what !! u ? How ?

Geet: aauumm ,, I have some saving ,, I mean dad n mom's insurance amount nd savings ,, some money from my allowences .

Arjun: Geet , nahi wo uncle , aunty ka hei tumhare future ke liye .

Geet: lekin wo saalon se bank mei hi hei ,, au rese hi rahega ,, mai kahan use karun uska?

Annie : nahi tumhare husband ko agar ye pasand anhi aaya to ,, it dosen't look nice Geet.

Geet felt a jerk at d name of her husband but composed herself ,, she knew he never think about her ,, she never exist in his world .

Geet: don't worry about him , i'll talk to him .

Arjun : if u r sure Geet then we can be partners in this project , mujhe tumse accha partner kahan milega ? r u sure ur husband won't deny .

Geet: yeah , very sure ,, u go with d deal ,, i'll give u money .

Arjun: Oh!! Geet u r a saviour ,, love u kiddo ,, see Annie now ur cindy became our saviour .

Annie : Geet , sweetie thanku so much for this help , she hugged geet lovingly nd obliged.

Geet: it's OK Annie ,, nd Arjun I can take loan also , it'll help me in ITR as i'm getting a fixed income every month .

Arjun: yes u can , a small loan helped u ,, we can take advice from my CA in that matter nd now u need a PAN card also .

Geet: hummm,, I think so .

Arjun: OK we'll do it TM .

Both A&A hugged her tightly ,, they wr very happy nd Arjun called his broker at once to lock d deal for him nd Geet.

Geet went to take her classes nd Arjun started his work with a new zeal ,, he had d scan copy of project report , location nd other imp info ,, he decided to gave all d details to Geet ,, he informed his dealer that he had a partner in this project so made d papers for equal shares .

D deal came on floor ,, Arjun gave all d details to Geet ,, Geet to find it a good venture to invest * Maan was in Rudrapur with Dev nd NT in their newly bought office ,, NT was giving her ideas to Dev for d set up of office ,, Maan was least interesting in her talks ,, he nd a manager of that office Mr Romio wr busy in discussion nd instructed Dev for further steps ,, they have 3-4 on going projects in this area though Maan was doubtful about Dev but he had to take risk ,, he told them not to take any decision without discussing him .

Dev & NT stayed in Nainital for few days to get some knowledge about d work nd Maan came back to Delhi ,, he was very busy ,, if he went out for few days he find a pile up work nd meetings in his Delhi office .

He was living a robotic life but when he got some free time in KM his thoughts went to Geet,, he secretly watched her from d open window when she slept ,, that closed door started pricking him but he didn't have courage to open that after her rude reply ,, he understood that they had a cleft in their relation bcoz of his past nd Geet's avoidance was blocking his way to take any step towards her , but his heart was craving to talk to her ,, though her single look pleased him but some where pained him too deep in his heart .

Other side Geet was spreading her wings ,, she developed her rest piece of land in a party lawn ,, d pre broker was giving her offers every 2^nd day nd she agreed that ,, d land changed in a beautiful lawn on d road with very less investment nd d showroom was with that .. it was in residential area so ppl want an open place for functions/Marriages nd theme parties ,, seeing d demands she opt to give that for functions .

her this step was a big hit ,, d marriage season gave her a huge profit .

d room was empty but a fragrance engulfed him , he took few long breaths nd felt a freshness , a smile crept on his face .
