Prologue...

She was for him , but he denied her in an illusion . He forced her and she embraced death for his happiness . she was Selfless ,pure and mature. He was selfish , stained and immature. What would happen when his illusion disappeared and he would face the bitter truth .

The sorrow of losing what we love is nothing to the torment of having it present but denied us .

Geet decided to give a gift to Maan on his success * she surfed on net to find something suitable for him and find a beautiful cufflink * she searched d nearby shopping zone and decided to purchase that in mid way while going to party .

Sahsa was very happy for her revenge but she was amazed seeing Dadima and Maan normal * Geet didn't come with Dadima it means she was not well coz of last day incident but there wr not a single sign of worry at their faces * she was eager to know about her * Maan and Manish-a wr busy in their talks with guests and Manish was taking all cares of d event * Arjun and Annie wr there and asked about Geet and Dadima replied that was not feeling comfortable so will come at last for few min * Arjun understood that she was avoiding gathering coz of Dev's incident * Sasha was trying to remain close Maan every time so that reporters from business magazines and businessmen noticed her and clicked her with him * she was showing her extra antics to impress Dadima but she gave damn * Tasha was following Sasha's orders * Dadima was co-owner of KC and knew many old businessmen who wr associated with KC from last many yrs at d time of YSK * she was busy with them * d launch party was going well and after dinner ppl started to move back slowly .

Maan's eyes wr at d entrance and he was impatiently waiting for Geet * he called her and got d reply that she is on d way * there wr only few guests remained in d party * after a long wait ( long for him) she appeared there in a beautiful silk saree and his heart skipped a beat ,,, gorgeous * she wore saree coz Dadima was there to company her and saree hid her plastered leg fully * he went to her to escort her and showed his fake anger on her late arrival but inwardly dancing with joy * she came for him and that was enough for him * his eyes wr adoring her beauty and Geet felt a churn in her tummy when he looked deep in her eyes .

Maan: now u got d time to share my happiness?

Geet: sorry , plzz don't get angry ,, heartily congratulations * she forwarded a small gift pack to him .

He looked at her ,,, plzz , a small gift for u , though it is very ordinary like me but hope u like it.

He took that saying ,, accha ,, ordinary,,, dekhun ,,, and he opened that and gave an admiring look ,, thanks and i love it ,,, these r beautiful like u * he inserted d box in his pocket .

Geet: thanks ,, ab bhi naraz ho ?

Maan : thoda sa and she rolled her eyes .

He smiled , held her hand in his one hand and other wrapped around her waist * brought her near Dadima who gave her an admiring look and hugged her saying ,,, u r looking beautiful beta ,, we r waiting for u * d ppl who wr present there admired her but a pair of eye widened in a shock and Maan's hand in Geet's waist burned her alive ,,, Sasha who was enjoying d party thinking that tonight she had spent a lot of time around Maan got a shock seeing them like this .

Dadima introduce Geet with some remaining guest as her relative and Maan announced that she is joining KC from TM handling d work of new project * Arjun and Annie hugged Geet and congrats her * others to wish her and KC staff welcome her * Sasha got a hard blow listening that * she was watching all this from lil distance with hanging face ,, it was like a defeat for her * in few days that mare girl got so much attention from MK and here she was working with him from yrs went in drain * Sasha was cursing herself not to take concrete steps to fulfil her dreams ,,, everything is fair in love and war * she slipped away from there at once without talking a word to anyone .

Maan held Geet hand and brought her to dance floor where soft music was still playing * he was waiting to dance with her .

Maan: i know u love to dance and i was waiting for u .

Geet: but how can i ?

Maan: why ,, now who is here ? All r well known ppl ,, don't worry .

He held her hand in his and placed that on his shoulder then sneaked his other hand in her waist ,, they started swaying slowly drowning deep in each other eyes both wr trying to read d emotions which they can't voice out .

All guests and staff had left except Manish and Dadima too decided to leave coz she was here from hrs and now feeling tired * she saw Maan and Geet who wr dancing lost in each other and a sweet smile spread on her lips * not to disturb their beautiful moments she quietly came back , called her driver and returned home * on d way she called Maan to inform him.

Maan: hello Dadima where r u?

Dadima: i'm on d way to home ,, i'm feeling very tired beta ,, take care of my Geet and make sure she took her dinner.

Maan: OK Dadima , we r coming behind u .

Geet: Maan , if u don't have any work then let's go .

Maan: yeah ,, first take ur dinner then we'll leave ,, it's ur Dadima's order for me .

She passed a sweet smile at his words ur Dadima ,,, his every gesture was germinating new feelings in her which she never felt * both came on d table and took their dinner * this was d first time they wr alone like this * both have a strange feeling ,, words becoming short and they wr just looking and passing smiles to each other .

Maan and Geet finished their dinner and came out to go * Manish-a finished all d remaining work and came to meet MK and Geet * * d weather turned rainy and cold * Geet felt cold and started rubbing her arms * Maan took off his coat and covered her over d shoulders * they bid GN to Manish and settled in their respective cars.

Maan saw some droplets on her face and wiped them with his finger ,, d soft touch of his fingers on her cheeks gave a chilled shiver to Geet ,, her lips wr lil parted to take breath ,, their eyes met ,, his thumb was still rubbing her cheek not wanted to lose this moment ,, her soft touch and lush lips wr tantalizing him ,, he grazed his thumb on her skin and touched her lower line of lips which shuddered her * her eyes becoming drowsy feeling a sensation in her * d gripe of her hand tightened on coat ,, his condition was worse than her * his arms wr aching to crush her ,, to feel her every pour ,, desires burned through him ,, his lips wr dying to quench their thirst * their faces wr coming close bounded in a spell ,, their warm breathes wr mingling with each other ,, he parted his lips and was going to seize hers ,,,, d strong thundering sound and lightning brought them back in sense ,, he parted in a swift move and removed his hand but Geet held his arm in fear ,, he placed his hand on her to ease her and nodded in a No with a soft smile whispering ,, daro nahi , mai hoon * these rain and thundering reminded her that fretful night but tonight she had a weak smile on her face and she was looking at him moisten eyes * he was caressing her hand with his which was holding his arm * whole journey they remained silent . this new launch of his project placed a foundation stone of their new life.
