Part 20

Geet was so shocked not knowing what to say to Dev and Dev was getting worried with her silence, "Geet, who is it," Dev asked again, "Who Dev?" Geet slowly questioned him back, "That guy, who was on the bike, with an red jacket and red helmet," Dev asked, and Geet turned to face Dev, "I don't know Dev," Geet said slowly and Dev looked at her shocked, "then what was he doing before your house, when I parked my car before your house, he was there but before I could get down he was gone,"

"Thought may be your friend or relative," Dev asked looking at Geet still confused, "I don't know Dev, and no one came to see me here, you know na, I have no friends here and my brother is in Amritsar, then who will come to met me here," Geet asked and Dev nodded an ok but something was fishy, that guy looked at Dev so strongly, but Dev couldn't see his face as he was wearing an helmet, but he was sure he was looking at Geet's house when he saw him.

Dev sat down and Geet too sat opposite to him, and after a few seconds he remembered why he came up, "Oh, look at me, came to speak something and speaking something else." Dev said and Geet looked at him turning serious, "what is it Dev," Geet asked worried, "Oh, Geet, actually, I came to see are you ok, I mean, are you upset about what happened," Dev asked and Geet looked at him shocked, "did Maan sir, went and said about our kiss to Dev, how could he, Dev is his brother," Geet thought disgusted,

"Dev, I am not upset," Geet said rudely and the tone itself said how upset she was, "Geet, I know you would have felt bad, and you have all rights to get upset too, but Geet, bro didn't do it with a wrong intension, the situation was like that, I mean," Dev stopped to search for words and Geet felt really disgusted, "what kind of brothers are they, Maan sir, kissed me and now Dev comes to say it's not with a wrong intension, then with what intension he kissed me," Geet felt like yelling,

"Enough Dev, please, till now I wasn't upset but after knowing that Maan sir had shared our, I mean what happened and send you to explain it, I am really upset now," Geet poured out and Dev looked at puzzled and shocked, "No Geet, bro didn't send me or tell anything to me, I came by myself only, as I was worried," Dev said immediately defending his brother, "Oh really, then how did you know I was upset and what happened," Geet asked not even ready to listen, "Geet, I too saw it na, and I knew you were upset so only you ran away from there," Dev said shocking Geet to the core,

"You saw what happened," Geet asked yelling up with shock and Dev looked at her confused, "what is it Geet, you are saying as if it happened somewhere else, it happened before our eyes only na, you were dancing in midst of everyone only na, and then why are you reacting like this," Dev asked, Geet looked at him puzzled, "Dance," Geet asked and just then she understood Dev was only talking about the dance and not what happened later, actually Geet totally forget about that Dance and was into the things happened after that,

"Oh, you were speaking about the dance ah," Geet felt relaxed, "thank god," she thought, "Then what else did you think, did something else happened after that," Dev asked and Geet immediately nodded an no, "nothing Dev," she said and Geet somehow wants to ended the conversation, "Dev, forget it, I am not upset and I am totally fine," Geet said and Dev nodded up, "Ok then Geet, I too will go, Good night," Dev said standing up,

"Good night Dev," Geet said standing up, Dev walked a few steps and stopped and turned to Geet, "Geet, Bro is such an good person, there is no one like him on earth, please don't think bad of him, until today he never ever danced or behaved like this with any girl, and I know you too could understand why he did behave like that, but still, don't hate my bro or think bad of him Geet, he is an gem of an person, I am not saying this as he is my brother, I really meant it" Dev said and Geet nodded and Dev went away,

Geet was now feeling guilty double strongly, "what if Dev was saying the truth, what if Maan sir is such a good guy and what if he is in love with me for real, and what if he turns innocent and not an Don as Breej says, then Baba ji will never forgive me for playing with the emotions of an good person nor my own consciousness," Geet thought pacing here and there "And what if he turns to be an don as Breej said, then what I had done would be right, to save the nation I have to do it,"

"But how will I know whether he is good or bad, how," Geet thought confused, "no other way looks possible to know the truth, yes, I had to get close to MSK, I need to make him love me, and I have to get inside his life, then only I can find about what's going on in his life, if he turns innocent, then I will confront myself and will accept whatever punishment he gives me, for playing with his life, and it was only for his good, and to prove his innocent and if he turns criminal, then I will hand him over to Breej as per the Mission," Geet decided,

"As of now, Maan sir loves me and so I too had to act as if I love him back, tomorrow if he get close, I should not restrict, and act like accepting his love back, so everything will happen soon, and I can get in to his life soon," Geet finalized and went to sleep,

Morning sun Hit Geet's face and she woke up and prayed and took the locket, "Warrior, please give me the power to keep myself in control and act bold, I have to do this, so please bless me, and give me more strength, Baba ji, please lead my path and help me as you always did" Geet prayed, "And if Maan sir, tries to say his love or to apologies, I would act as if I liked it and didn't mind, so he too would believe I too love him" Geet decided , and got ready to the office,

Maan was standing near the window, looking at the lighted up morning, Maan didn't sleep a bit last night, he was watching his act in his mind again and again, he was filled with different kinds of emotions and thoughts, he loved those moments but he knew it's wrong, but most of all he was worried about Geet, what she would have thought, and what would be going inside her mind, what would she thought about Maan now, maybe she thought I took advantage of the situation and she might have hated me,

"What if she decides to go away from the job, and if she did, how will I go and convince her, what if she is angry," Maan was so confused, "whatever it is I will know when I go to the office today," Maan thought and got ready for the office.

As Maan reached the office, he went to his cabin and waited for the clock to hit 9 so he would know Geet is coming to the office or not, it was 8.45 when Geet entered her cabin and Maan saw her from his cabin, she came and prayed and turned on her computer as she sat on her chair and she looked so calm and smiling as always, and it confused Maan to hell, he was sure Geet would not come, or she would come straight to him and argue or say something, but her calm was so weird, too normal too strange,

Maan was thinking what would have been going in her mind and was getting confused, Geet slowly saw at Maan's cabin to see what he was doing, Maan was standing holding his chair and looking other side, but his face showed his confusion going inside his mind, Geet waited for Maan's call, she was sure Maan would call her to talk about what happened yesterday, and Geet wait for it, "don't react much Geet, just be normal," Geet was getting ready,

But as Maan didn't call her, Geet herself decided to go to his cabin, with a reason to remind him of his meetings as she can't control her curiosity, Geet went and stood before his cabin but her heart was beating high as she don't know how Maan will react, "Baba ji, please be with me," Geet prayed and knocked the door, pulling Maan from his own thoughts, "Come in," Maan said rudely in his bossy voice,

"Good morning, Sir," Geet's voice made him tensed and he looked up but didn't look at her, he was feeling nervous, thinking what she is going to say, "hmmm," was his reply, "Sir, you have an meeting with Wellington's groups manager today," Geet said calmly confusing Maan and he turned and looked at her puzzled, and Geet smiled a bit, thinking that it would make Maan bold say something from his heart, Maan looked at her who was smiling at him as usual,

"Why in the hell she is acting as if nothing had happened, what's in her mind," Maan thought as he stared at her face, "OK," Maan said and Geet nodded and stood there, waiting for him to say something, "Anything more," Maan yelled looking away and Geet was scared for a minute and nodded a no "No sir" ; "then go," Maan shouted and Geet went away confused, "what is the world is happening Baba ji, why is he yelling at him, actually he is suppose to explain, or apologize but not yell,"

Geet went to her cabin mystified, "doesn't he love me," the doubt killed her, Geet thought about the dance in the party and in the rain and their kiss and she was sure it was love, Maan sat on his chair and was confused to the core and also scared a bit, "Geet didn't say anything, she is acting like, nothing happened, I can see the same innocent smile and the same shine in her eyes, not an single change in her behavior, what is she thinking," Maan thought frustrated and closed his eyes,

Maan's mind played him the way she brushed her fingers on his lips at the Dhaba and how she hover on him in the rain, their hug, the kiss, Maan could see the trace of love in Geet's eyes, it scared him, it was not for her warrior but for Maan, for MSK, no, Maan opened his eyes, "Geet thinks I love her and she too is developing some kind of feelings for me, no, no, that's not good, Geet can't fall for me, maybe it's my mistake, I got so close to her, in the process of making her happy and comfortable," Maan thought scared,

"No, I had to change my attitude towards Geet, I just have to behave with her like I used to with all other girl but without hurting her feelings, I will get away from her and make her think she is no special to me," Maan decided, he was so confused and her felt like drinking an coffee and felt an need for some fresh air too, so Maan went to away to the cafeteria himself for an coffee, "Sir" Geet voice pulled him from his thought, as he stood there getting his coffee,

Geet stepped close to Maan with a smile, "Stop, Geet, just stay away," Maan said and Geet stopped immediately and stood there puzzled and confused, and Maan turned away, "what's the matter" he asked without looking at her, "oh, you got an invitation from Wellington groups, so," Geet said slowly giving him the card, "can't it wait until I get back to my cabin, why did you take it here" Maan asked as he got the invitation, "oh sir, actually I don't know you will be here,"

"Oh, I came here to get you an coffee and then come to your cabin to give you the invitation, but as I saw you here," Geet said looking at Maan's serious yet confused face, "ok, now go and prepare the report of the plans made till now, I want you to complete it today even, don't come before me, until you finish it," Maan said and Geet nodded and Maan went away, "what's wrong with him, did I do an mistake in understanding him, doesn't he love me, it was an lust and not love, what happened yesterday,"

"If its love, then why didn't he smile at me or speak to me as always, forget about Smiling and speaking he is not even looking at me now, is he feeling guilty for what he did yesterday, well in that case, he should ask sorry and not yell at me as if I did any mistake, is he anger as I didn't stop him or for hugging him, Baba ji, what's in his mind," Geet thought as her options were getting high, and confusions killed her,

"One thing is clear, he is upset with me, great, just now I thought he had fall for me and made plans accordingly but here the story is upside down, looks like I have to start from the beginning, trying to impress him again, come on Geet, let's get back to the big long work he gave," Geet told herself and went to her cabin,

Maan went to his cabin and got ready for the meeting and the project's budget file was missing, and he didn't want to call Geet and ask it, so he decide to ask to Adi and he came out of his cabin and went towards Adi's cabin but Adi was on the central area with Geet, and they were discussion something, "great," Maan thought as he saw Geet and looked away, "Adi," Maan's bossy voice made Geet and Adi to look at him,

"Adi get me the Wellington projects budget file," Maan said and Adi looked puzzled, "why is he asking me, when Geet is here and she is the one having it," Adi thought and Geet too looked at Maan bemused, "Geet," Adi called and nodded at her and Geet went away and in minutes she came with the file and gave it to Adi and Adi gave it to Maan, "Adi, to finish all my meeting it might take more the 7 pm, so don't wait for me, as your job is over, you can go home, don't wait for me," Maan said without looking at Geet and Adi nodded and Maan went away,

"Strange why did Maan sir said that to me, I never waited up for him, god knows what's in his mind, Geet your doubts are cleared na," Adi asked and Geet nodded an yes, "good, if you have any more doubts ask me, ok" Adi said and went away, Geet knew that the message was for her, "Great, now he is not even ready to talk with me and avoiding me completely, this means, he doesn't love me and he is really upset with me, Baba ji, what is this," Geet thought dejectedly and went back to her cabin,

Precap: Maan wasn't able to control his concern for Geet and Geet realizes Maan's love, Dadi's arrival.. ( on Friday)

hi thanks 4 da pm n wonderful update! Geet thinks Dev knws abt the kiss! She lies to Dev abt Breej! Ahe realises he ws talking abt the dance! Geet reflects on wt Dev sed abt Man! She decides to continue wid her job! Maan's inner turmoil well portrayed! update soon! Well written
