Prologue...

She was for him , but he denied her in an illusion . He forced her and she embraced death for his happiness . she was Selfless ,pure and mature. He was selfish , stained and immature. What would happen when his illusion disappeared and he would face the bitter truth .

The sorrow of losing what we love is nothing to the torment of having it present but denied us .

Note... This is a fiction inspired by some facts and incidents form our surroundings . If someone find any resemblance in d title and storyline they r welcome to leave ur comments on my page (plzz don't pm me)with d link . I'll try my best not to touch any body's work. He stopped d car near Geet and Geet startled with that and stopped with thudding heart * she fearfully turned and looked at d driver and back side * Maan was shocked to see her there in this condition and so many questions occupied his mind * he was looking at her stunned * Dadima opened her eyes when car stopped and she too was shocked when she saw Geet there like that * she slide down d window glass to have a clear look of her * Geet once looked at them and then all around with fear * Dadima understood that she ran away from her house and took that wrong .

Dadima: oh to ab tum ghar se bhi bhaag rahi ho apne uss BF ke sath .

Geet looked at them painfully but tried to clear her doubt ...nahi, essa nahi hei , aap galat samajh rahi hein , plz meri madad karo .

Dadima : tum jaisi ghar se bhaagi hui ladki ki madad kisi ko nahi kerni chahiye , tum jaisi ladkiyan bas apna sochti hei , pariwar aur khandan ki izzat ka nahi * hume afsos hota hei ki humne tumhare bare mei kuch accha socha * chalo driver.

She coldly turned her face and raised d window glass * Geet bagged again , plz help me , wo log mujhe maar dalenge .. Geet looked with a hope at Maan but he too turned his face which shocked Geet * she was in this mess bcoz of him , she refused to marry him for his sake and here he was turning his face like coward *

Dadima: chalo driver , kisi ke galat kam mei hum madad nahi ker sakte * humne kya socha tha aur kya paya .

Driver moved d car leaving a shocked and lost Geet on d road * she came in sense when she heard d shout of a man ... wo rahi sadak per , pakdo usse bhagne na paye * Geet saw at them terrified and started running without wasting d time * they were chasing her and she was running with all her remaining strength to save her life * she was near d bridge of river and nothing is there to hide * they were very close to her and one of d guy held d corner of her dupatta in process to catch her but she didn't stop and her dupatta came in d guy's hand * Geet looked at back while running and trenbled on her pace but controlled herself * d guy threw his sword towards her and that hit d Geet's upper back * she got a cut but she didn't stop * her pace became slow and that guy caught her on d bridge * Geet struggled to make her free fron his hold * he was alone and other was behind him * Geet looked at t others who were away and she hit him with her knee on d guy's groin * he flinched and Geet pushed him back * she ran again but he caught her again after few steps * he became furious and hit her with d bridge wall * Geet was pushing him back and he was pushing her to d wall absusing her * Geet heard some more steps nearby and thought that her end is near * she collected all her strength and gave him one more hit at same place * he hawled with pain and pussed her back in rage * she lost her balance and fell down in d heavy flowing river with a shriek * d guy looked down but nothing was visible * other guys joined him and asked and he gestured towards river pressing his private zone with one hand to sooth his pain * one of them called Brij and informed him * they came back from d bridge and got her dupatta on road and d sword .

Brij came there with other guys and they told him what had happened * they stood there for few min and concluded that that there was no chance of her survival in this flowing river * her chapter is closed for ever . All came back and Brij entered in d Hawewli with Geet's dupatta in his hand * Darji and his parents were waiting for him impatiently * Rajji was standing away from them behind d piller * All looked at Barij with questioning eyes .

Darji: Brij , kya khabar?

Brij looked at them: Dariya mei baha diya .

Biji gasped and Rajji slumped on d floor listening this * tears rolldown from her eyes .

Brij's maa: Darji , ab pind mei kya jawab denge agar kisi ne pucha to ?

Darji: keha dena wo America chali gai aage padhne , waise bhi wo yahan rahati kitna thi , aur khabardaar agar kisi ne baat bahar nikali to .

All retired to their respective rooms * Brij threw Geet's dupatta in d courtyard angrily and stromed to his room , took out a whisky bottle and gulp down a good amount * Rajji took that dupatta and came back to her room closed d door and cried out loud holding that piece of cloth close to her heart * nobody is there to sooth her bcoz she was among d beasts .

On d way to Delhi ...

Maan was feeling bad for not helping Geet but he became selfish that time * d fear of ruining his plan blocked his mind , what if Geet blurted out d truth of her refusal in front of Dadima * his all plan to marry Sam could turn in to ash and Dadima too became angry on him so to hide d truth he turned his face from Geet. He boosted his heart giving lame excuse that everything is fair in love and war . Maan looked at Dadima who was sitting with closed eyes * Maan placed his hand on her.

Dadima: hum theek hein Maan , aap humari fikar matt kero , zindgi mei bahot kuch dekha aur saha hei hei humne , ye to kuch bhi nahi * afsos to ye hai ki hum apne bte ka vada pura nahin ker sake .

Maan: Dadima , I told u not to come here but u force me and I came here bcoz of u * Dadima , they r nothing to us so forget about them .

Dadima: hume Geet se essi hope nahi thi , pahale baar humne insaan ko Pahachanne mei galti ki hei .

Maan's heart skipped a beat * Dadima's words pricked his heart * he kept quiet for rest of d journey .

They were moving to their destination and it was far away from their thoughts that their one refusal turned fatal for an innocent girl .

It's said that as long as greed become stronger than compassion, there will always be suffering .
