Maan: sshhh bas Geet, control yourself and thank God tumhe jyada chot nahi aai * uttho change ker lo , tumhari dress gandi ho gai hei aur check karo chot kahan lagi hei fir med lagatey hei , hmmm .
Geet nodded in a yes , stood slowly and tried to walk * she felt pain in her knee * Maan came and lift her * left her near dresser, opened d wardrobe for her to take out dress and moved back giving her privacy to change.
Maan was waiting for her eagerly in d room and ran towards d washroom door to help her listening d sound of door * she came out and he lifted her and made her sit on her settee properly .
Maan: Geet jyada lagi kya ?
Geet meekly : nahi , left knee aur albow mei lagi hei thodi.
Maan: I'm sorry Geet , ,,, dikhao .. he checked her hand , there were bruises there , got up and brought d first aid box from drawer and applied d ointment there * she flinched with d pain and he blow to ease d pain * he lift her left leg and placed that on his knee , he was going to lift her pajama but she held his hand right there * he looked at her but her lowered eyes said everything to him that what he was going to do * it pricked but he was helpless.
Geet: mei laga leti hu , aap med de do mujhe * she was not looking at him .
Maan: hmmm.. he handed her ointment ,,,, mai dinner ke liye bolker aata hu and went out * his heart ached .. she was his but he can't help her even he can't see her wounds to nurse her * today he realised d distance between him and her .. So close but so far. He came in his room and ordered Nakul to bring their dinner * he changed and remained there for few min to give her sufficient time to apply her med.
He came back but she was not on her bed and find her in balcony , she was limping * he got angry and scolded her .
Maan: Geet , u r not well then why d hell ur moving with injured leg , is this not enough for u? Why did u get up from bed?
Geet looked at him with a faint smile and spoke meekly.
Geet: wo , thodi sa kam tha .
Maan: chalo ander and don't move from bed * he lifted her and placed her on her bed , covered her with blanket and gave an angry glare .
Nakul came and placed dinner tray on table and asked worriedly.. CM aap theek ho na , chot jyada to nahi lagi?
Geet: nahi dada , jyada nahi hei , mei theek hu.
Nakul went and Maan served in a plate gave her , then served for him and sat near her * he gestured her to eat , she nodded and ate slowly * they took their dinner quietly and Maan gave her a painkiller tab so that she could sleep peacefully * he told her to lay down but she refused and demanded her lappy .
Maan: uske bina to neend nahi aayegi na ?
Geet nodded in a No with a puppy face and Maan rolled his eyes with a deep sigh * he gave her lappy saying .. jyada der nahi .
Geet : sorry i'm bothering u , please one more help .
Maan: bolo
Geet : wo bahar cattle mei coffee hei , please le aao .
Maan: Geet , kya jaroorat thi ? tumne iss haalat mei bhi .. God !!
Geet: but u like that na , please le aao.
Maan brought d cattle and pour that in 2 mugs , 1 for her and 1for him . They finished that and spent some time with their respective works. Geet started yawning with d effect of med and Maan noticed that .
Maan: Geet , so jao tumhe neend aa rahi hei aur tabiyat bhi theek nahi .
She again yawned in reply * she placed her lappy on table and tried to stand but Maan stopped her,
Maan: kya ker rahi tum ? mana kiya tha na uthne ko lekin tum manogi nahi na ? Maan scolded her.
Geet looked helplessly at him but tried to move slowly * Maan came near and held her hand.
Maan: tum rest ku nahi kerti ho ?
Geet: washroom jana hei .
Maan: Oh !! chalo and lifted her , brought her near washroom and made her stand on her feet * opened d door and came back saying ... call me after u finished .
Geet shyly nodded and went in * she was touched with his care * she came out and called him * he wanted to lift her but she stopped him .
Geet: mei dheere -dheere chalu aap support de do bas .
Maan: Geet , pain hoga , abhi chot fresh hei and lifted her and made her sit on bed.
Geet: thanks Maan , wo uss wardrobe mei ek pack hei , la do.
Maan went and came back with that pack * handed her . Geet kept that in her lap and held his hand .
Geet: baito
Maan sat near her confused * she opened that pack and took out a gift beautifully pack * she forwarded that to him saying .. Happy Diwali . He was looking at her awe , took that mouthing Thanks.
Geet: pahale dekho to accha lage tab thanks bolna , warna meri mehanat bekar .
Maan smiled and opened that gift and found a latest model of Mac-book pro with retina display of apple * he smiled and caressed that lovingly .
Maan: it's superb Geet , i love it , thanks .
Geet: open it .
He opened that and started and after few sec there was a pic of angry bird on screen * he looked at d pic and then at her and started laughing * she too joined him .
Maan: thanks..
They slept biding GN to each other with a smiled .
