"What's this Maan?" Geet accelerated to Maan terrorized. Blood was soaking his wrist and hand and he was staring Geet in shock fearing she'll scold him again. For a moment he forgot the pain but only her lovesome touch occupied his sense and her wheezing face, seemed like she had forgot to breath.

"How did you get this hurt" she dragged him into washroom and placed his hand under streaming water. She picked up the savlon bottle and soaked cotton in it and applied on his wound. She whined feeling his pain but Maan was grinning. He was waiting for her blast over him as if that would be the most exciting moment to live in but she was soundless. Perhaps was living in his pain. Her eyes were wet. Tenderly she applied the liquid on the injuries but her hand was shaking. Maan wrapped his hand on her waist and slipped her nearer. He smelled in her hairs sideways. "Don't cry. It's not hurting me" he whispered in her hairs.

"You're lying. Have you looked the depth of cut you've got?"

"But I don't feel pain Geet. You've removed it" he held her chin with fine hand and made her to look him. "Believe me Angel"

"You really want me to believe you Maan!!" she jerked his hand at next moment "How did you get hurt?" she dragged him out in anger.

"There's nothing you should worry about Geet"

Then why don't you tell me how did it happened?" she was now tapping hand with a warm towel.

Maan thought for a second, "Um.. Actually I was cutting fruits in night and knife slipped by mistake from hand.."

"So you were enjoying fruits after I left and you want me to believe you. Don't you?" she wrapped bandage carefully over the wound. She was sure he was lying. "Now lay here silently. Dare you to move. This time I'm really very upset from you Maan" She forcefully made him lay on bed. "Let me bring milk for you"

"No Geet I don't like..."

"Don't!!! Not a word!!!"

He became mute when got her glare and laid down like a child. Geet rushed out from room in anger. She was very upset with him. Suddenly Maan heard her scream. He runs to check and found she was limping badly clutching her leg and her foot was bleeding. A glass piece had made cut in her ankle. But she was looking on to floor widening eyes.

"Geet.." Maan held her from waist and lifted in arms forgetting his own pain.

"Maan what's this!!" she was frightening like was watching the sight after bloody war. Nothing was on place and everything was broken. "Wha..what did y.you..this i..is.. what's this?" she looked at him terrified. Maan face dropped color. He was not sure what to tell because reason he himself didn't know and couldn't have said lie because she knew him well than anyone and would come to know sure about he's lying. He selected to be silent.

"Maan I'm asking you something" she struggled in his arms. Her anger was rising with his ignorance. But Maan kept walking toward the room holding her carefully.

"Leave me!!" she shouted in frustration. "You can't do this to me Maan not anymore. I know you were upset yesterday and you made yourself hurt and now not telling me as well. I'm not going to talk to you let me go. Leave me!!!" she rocked her legs and fought hitting hands against his chest. But Maan tightened the hold. He dropped her on bed and shouted annoyed

"Then why did you have to leave me when you knew I was upset!!" he closed eyes calming his rage. Geet was shocked with his reaction. She stirred to stand up but her foot pained.

"I'm sorry" He held her arms. He walked near and stood behind her slipping arms around her waist and kept his chin on her shoulder. "I was upset. I don't know what took over me but I couldn't see your leaving. I didn't want to be alone. I can't. I'm sorry Angel"

She remained silent. This was too much for her accepting. In his frustration he could have hurt himself till this extends was a thing she could never have imagined nor wanted to. It was frightful. She was in shock. Her worry increased thinking he was changing. He was not the man she had seen in her house. He was someone else whom she didn't know and it was alarming.

"Won't you forgive me Geet" he turned her to face him. "You are crying?" he cupped her face and kissed tears out but again they made way out. "I'm sorry. I can repeat it hundreds time Angel please don't cry" he held his ears.

She wrapped arms around his waist burst in sobs. "Why did you forget Maan your little hurt pain me so much. Why didn't you think about me before hurting yourself?"

"I was thinking only about you no one else" he lifted her face. "I'd told you not to leave me"

"But what could I do Maan. You know I couldn't stay here with you"

"But why Geet. Why you can't? You know uncle said he has no problem with our relation, he accepts our marriage then why can't we be together"

"But this society doesn't know it. This world will question and we have no proof to show them" she blabbered in irritation.

"So you fear of this world. Don't you?" his voice turned into serious.

"No Maan.. I mean that.."

"I know what you want to say. You, our family and this world want proof of our marriage. Don't worry, I will give them that proof"

She looked him terrorized.

"We will marry, tomorrow!!"

"What..No Maan how can we..'' she was shocked to the core, where this talk was moving.

"Why can't we Geet. If this marriage is a solution of our entire problem then let it be happen. We will do court marriage tomorrow" he declared and he was serious. Geet panicked. She feared this step would bring big trouble. She was unable to stop him when they were separate. Their family was against them but if this marriage happens like this, possibly everything will come on end and certainly, even for lifetime.

"What are you thinking? I'm so happy. Why didn't I do this before!! You'll be mine forever. No one could be able to separate us Geet"

"But Maan please try to listen it's not the right solution "

"Why so? Don't you want this marriage?"

"I want but not to be like this way"

"I know you must have dreamed of a grand marriage. Don't worry we'll have that also but before I'll show the proof of our relation"

"But I don't want this to happen like this"

"You can't deny me" Maan became adamant. It was like aloofness had corrupted his mind snatching the last bit of understanding power and Geet denial aroused the hidden tension for their future. Geet was alarmed with his behavior.

"You can't force me Maan" she snatched her arms from his hold and turned back in fury

"I can do anything'' he swung her to him. I will kidnap you if you don't agree Geet. I will make you mine at any cost"

"You can't do this" she walked back. She was breathless.

"I can do anything and everything" he smiled crookedly, moved nearer.

"I know you're kidding"

"You're free to imagine things but I'm damn serious"

She shook head. She hit back with the wall and was cornered. Before she could open mouth for argue more he sealed it with his lips.
