Rano: hmmm .. Aajkal yahi posted hu , abhi kuch mahino pahale hi aai hu * kaafi weak lag rahe ro .. theek to ho na .. yahan hospital mei kaise?

Mahi: annual check up ke liye aaya tha * tum kaisi ho ?

Rano: jaisa choda tha , akele.

Mahinder looked at her stunned and asked after few secs... family ?

Rano:mere samne hei .

Mahi: Rano !!!

Both looked at each other with pained and moist eyes * lot of questions and emotions floating in their teary eyes * her cell buzzed and they came in reality * she replied in yes and ok then cut d call.

Rano: check up ho gaya tumhara?

Mahi: nahi , shayad turn aa gai ho.

Rano: which Dr. ?

Mahi: Col. Dr. * * swamy.

Rano: slip do mujhe , aur aao mere sath.

He gave her appointment slip and followed her to Dr's chamber. After half an hour they were out and going towards another chamber . He read d Name Telly .. Col.Dr Ranjana... She took her seat and gestured him to sit then called a Med Assit ringing d bell. A boy came in and she gave him d papers with some instructions and told Mahi to go with him for tests . Mahinder went out with s boy and she compleated her pending work in between .

Mahinder came back after one hour with d same boy and hand over her reports* Rano made some call and secured her work.

Rano: ghar chaloge na ?

Mahinder saw at her reluctantly and puzzled .

Rano: please , she pleaded .

He nodded and she got up from her seat * he followed her and they were in parking area .

Rano: tumhari gadi mei chale? Meri driver le aayega.She sent a msg to her driver and then both moved to mahi's car. She narrate him d way and after few min both were in front of a big service flat . She rang d bell and a maid opened d door. Rano ordered her to prepared tea and then lunch for both and told Mahi to freshen up showing him d washroom* she too went to her bed room to change her Uniform and came back in living room after few min* Mahinder didn't find any other member in d house * both were having their tea silently giving each other some looks . At last Mahinder broke d silence .

Mahi: sath mei aur kaun hei ?

Rano: tumhare hisaab se kise hona chahiye?

Mahi: tumhari family ya uncle/aunty.

Rano took a deep sigh and spoke looking at her empty cup: Dad ab rahe nahi aur Maa ye blame deker bhai ke paas US chali gai ki maine apna ghar to basaya nahi unka ujaad diya ... She cursed me for dad's demise.

Mahi: Oh , I'm sorry for that but why she blamed u ?

Rano: because i denied to merry any one , I was helpless , they were forcing me day and night and in frustration i told them not to enterfere in my life and after a hot argument dad got a heart attack and ... maa blamed me for that left with Bhai * he too stopped talking to me .

Mahi: ku kiya tumne essa ? u promised me then why?

Rano: no Mahi , i never promised u ... I told u that I would try to move on but I couldn't ... i couldn't .

Mahinder was shocked with this reality * he never thought that she could do this ? He was in an impression after their last meeting that she would go with her family's wish and moved on , but today he was feeling very guilty that she had spoiled her life because of him * His one Compromise spoiled three lives .. his, Rano's and now Guddu's. He was chocked and cursing himself for all this.

Raho: Mahi , tum batao.. tum kya ker rahe ho aur Guddu kaisi hei?

Mahinder closed his eyes tightly to controlled his tears * Kya kahu .. kaise kahu ki Guddu ke sath bhi wahi hua jo uske sath hua * ***

Rano: mahi kya hua..?

In KM...at night

Dadima was back from their tour and now all were planning for diwali * GD and Pam too were very excited for that because didn't celebrate this festival like people celebrate in India.

All were gathered in d dining hall and talking on random topics then Annie chirped in excitement forgetting d reality .

Annie: aree Dadima coming week mei to Karwachouth hei aur iss baar to humre ghar bhi manaya jayega .. Guddu ka pahale jo hei.. WOW!!! Khub maza aayega.

Pam: karwachouth ?? what is that?

Annie described her and pam remembered that she saw in some hindi movies and TV shows with GD .

GD : Aree wah to iss baar hume live dekhne ko milega gr8 * mei to kaafi kuch bhool bhi gai * it's going very interesting. Pam ki mom to in sabme believe hi nahi kerti .

But in all this conversation some faces lost their colour * Dadima and YSK gave a painful look to each other * Maan and Geet's hearts felt a blow and kept mum * Geet's eyes felt a burn and she blinked her lashes many times to controle her tears.

GD: Geet tum to fast karogi na? Aur Didi aap kya doge Geet ko? I want to see all .. kya kaise hota hei? Pam baby i'm sure u'll enjoy it lot.

Pam : OMG!! Geet will u fast for whole day ?
