why Meera agreed for alliance when Maan behaved so rudely with her...

Maan N meera too agreed for this marriage.. Dev N meera r really good friends... N also care for each other too.. hope they specially meera will realize it soon.. Maan is rockhard person with no emotions... Why Geet is avoiding him? is there any big past btwn them beside that FH wala incident..?
