The morning was as beautiful as it could be for the to be weds.. both happy with the mutual understanding between them and excitedly awaiting the most important step of their life..
Maan looked towards pari as she entered his room to get him down for the rituals..she was surprised to see him all happy after yesterday's fiasco..
Kya baat hai Maan khurana, bahut khush ho..she said sorting the creases out of his creamy white kurta..
Maan's smile got wider, still not speaking anything..tumne geet se baat kii..?? she asked quite sad over the way it was all shaping up..
Ya..he replied busy with his hair looking straight in the mirror..missing her sad expressions..
Maan..her gloomy voice caught his attention i'm still not positive about all this..
dii..its okk!! I can handle this.. he said with full conviction..and when she is with me, any problem could be tackled..he smiled..
Maan, please samjho.. ek saath itna sab kuch..marriage itself is a big responsibility uske upar se ths challenge..it'll be too difficult..
Sabse pehle, ek dusre ko samajhna..ek dusre ke saath adjust karna hi kitna mushkil hota hai..its not easy to change all your ways in few days aur uske liye bhi to sab kitna mushkil hoga.. if she would not be able to adjust then it will pose problems in your relation..
Maan, i have discussed with dad we can find some way out.. but it will be very difficult for you to handle so many responsibilities at the same time..
Maan kept quite for some time trying to formulate an adequate answer.. may be pari was right but..but everything happening felt like right to him..after geets consent to be with him, there doesn't seem any problem to him..
Pari, when he is confident why are you overthinking..i'm sure my sale sahaab is quite capable to handle these things..right maan..ranveer spoke, though he had tried making his wife understand, but she seemed too worried over this..
right jiju..maan smiled, thinking.. whatever happens now, he wasn't going to back out..

Geet couldn't control her blush with her friends teasings..she was already overwhelmed and all this was making her all the more nervous and excited.. feeling all the contradicting thoughts at the same time..
She kept her eyes low as every lady present there came and applied haldi on her glowing skin, her heart going crazy with the thoughts of getting ready for him.. her blush getting deep with each second..feeling soo uncontrollably thrilled..
She looked at her hands, now adorned with beautiful mahendi design..and his name written in the centre..she sat in her room lost in herself, looking at her hands..thinking about last night.. she liked it when he called her at that time..ek ehsaas apnepan ka, ehsaas uss haq ka..
woo mujhe apna manne lage hain, asking me before taking a step in his life..he is a very understanding person..haina babajii.. she blushed, just engrossed in how their life will be after marriage.. but then she would be leaving her family forever..the thought flickered in her mind with a tinge of sadness, all these places where she has played, has grown up..
The room has shared soo many experiences with her.. the time when she played here with her dolls, doing her homework sitting in the balcony, helping her siblings and fighting with them over petty things, sleeping in her mothers arms whenever she would have a bad dream, her papa caressing her hairs trying to make a story out of anything..she smiled as a tear dropped out of her eyes.. she would be leaving all these memories behind..
Her mother was surprised to find her smiling with tear drops in her eyes.. geet..
maa..she hugged her maa and cried, why is it that she has leave them, who has always support her and had loved her beyond anything..
shh..beta chup ho jaa..she knew how her daughter would be feeling right now.. this separation was a part of girl's life when she have to leave everything she had and form a new world for herself with her new family..
mumma, mujhe aapko chod kar nahi jaana..
achcha hai, aap shaadi ke liye manaa kar do..
jiju se mein shaadi kar leti hun.. rano and geet looked at her shocked, what was she speaking..
kya.!! aap mujhe aise kyun dekh rhe ho.. waise bhi jiju itne handsome aur smart hain,soo i don't mind.. all three laughed breaking out of the gloomy environment..
But then aashi hugged geet..dii, aap wahan jaake mujhe bhul nahi jaana..
aur mujhe bhi.. rahul who was watching the emotional scene from some time too hugged his dii..
Geet kissed them on their heads.. the two irritated her to hell but just loved her as much..
Though she was very happy about her future life.. but leaving her family was most painful part..

It was the wedding day... and maan decided to leave all his worries for the day.. Just to enjoy the day and make it the most special and memorable day of his life.. but the day itself is special as she will be standing by my side from today as my soulmate..he smiled and took a deep breath trying to control his racing heartbeats..
At the later part of the day, Geet was sitting calmly while the beauticians were busy enhancing her beauty.. but inside she was feeling soo many feelings.. nervous, excited, anxious, thrilled.. babajii..sab thik hi hoga naa.. ghabraane wali to koi baat hai hi nahi..haina..relax geetu.. you're cute and sweet naa..
shaant ho jaa.. shaadi to sabki hoti hai.. saidyon me pehli baar teri thode an ho rahi hai.. so be calm and composed.. she took some deep breaths trying to slow down her heartbeats..
baraat aa gayi.. her heart was ready to burst out of happiness with that sentence.. she clutched the sides of her lahenga, biting her lips to stop herself from blushing just thinking about him..
Her friends pushed her to the window outside which the baraati's were in full masti mood..all of them dancing crazily..
But she couldn't gather the courage to look in his eyes as she knew she would melt with his one gaze.. she grabbed her hands closer hearing all her cousins and friends praising him and teasing her at the same time..
Whereas maan was waiting for her one glance.. for her to look up to him for once and as if she heard him she looked at him, straight in his eyes with soo many emotions playing in her eyes mirroring his emotions.. all her nervousness was slowly subsiding as she looked at his contented and pleased smile..she too smiled at him, his smile broadened making her blush a little..
Her breath caught in her lungs as he got down from the horse , he was looking soo suave, handsome and stylish in his greenish colored sherwani completely fitting to his chest showing off his perfect physique.. her gaze moving taking his entire form in her eyes..she looked away as her eyes collided with his and he looked at her with a 'caught you' expression on his face.. she blushed deeply while all the girls ran down to take the shagun from their jiju..
Maan's friends were struggling with aashi and other girls who were not letting him inside while maan was too anxious to get a clear glance of geet.. he was getting impatient over their fight but couldn't intervene as he knew after that his friends will kill him with their teasings..he looked pleadingly at his dii and jiju who were happily standing at a side enjoying his plight..
The girls let them enter after ranveer gave the neg.. and maan was taken to the mandap, when he saw his angel descending down the stairs in the deep red lahenga..he was stumped by her splendid beauty..
Her hairs were covered by the decorated chunni, few of her tresses teasing her cheeks..he soo wanted to remove them from her face and acknowledge his claim over her..her deep eyes covered by her beautiful eye lashes , the little shy smile playing on her lips.. her cheeks getting red each moment.. she dipped her head down knowing his deep and intense gaze over her.. biting her cheeks to stop herself from blushing..
He was still lost in her.. her each step getting her little bit closer to him..he stood up as she stood next to him with the varmalla in her hands..
Geet looked in his eyes while her hands went around his neck to put the varmala.. maan just bowed his head to her, while geet was awestruck by his gesture, all his friends made a face seeing him giving in so easily..
Maan took the varmala from pari, both of them still lost in each other's eyes..geets friends pulled her back when he tried to put the varmala but he moved a bit forward and then placed the varmala around her neck in the first time itself not giving the friends another chance for teasing..
Then panditjii started with the mantras, both of them listening sincerely
geet's daarjii was called to do the kanyadaan, they both shivered as their hands touched each other.. geet took deep breaths trying to calm herself while maan tightened his hold on her hand, promising to be with her always..
Pari did the gathbandhan.. joining their destinies for once and always..and then they stood up for the pheras.. promising each other to put their partners happiness before their owns.. to always help each other in all spheres of life..
Geet closed her eyes as maan adorned her maang with sindoor..her heart swelled with pride seeing his honesty during all the rituals..
her heart shuddered as his hand slightly touched her nape while tying the mangalsutra around her neck..stirring soo many emotions in their heart at the same time..
They both stood up taking blessings from their elders.. as they touched daarjii's feet, his heart felt pride as his grand daughter was starting a new life.. he kissed geet's and maan's foreheads with sheer love..little tears spilling from his eyes.. geet being his first grand child was very close to him.. geet hugged her daarjii trying not to cry as she knew if she cried no one will be able to stop her family..
daarjii folded his hands in front of maan which maan caught and nodded a no.. beta, isse humesha khush rakhna, bahut naazo se paala hai humne humari bachi ko, iska humesha khayal rakhna.. maan nodded his head..aap chinta nahi kijiye daarjii..
haan daarjii, ab humari musibat jiju ki hai..rahul said, all of the relatives laughed and rahul wiped the little tears from daarjii's and geet's eyes and hugged his sister.. trying to control his tears..

They sat in the car after the bidaai, geet was still crying.. tears dropping down her eyes continuously.. she looked at her house as the car started moving..
Maan kept his hand over hers wanting to console her, not liking her tears at all.. he blinked his eyes assuring her as she looked at him.. she smiled a little, tears still streaming down her eyes..
Her heart calmed and she kept her head on his shoulder comforting herself with his support..Maan tightened his hold on her hand and caressed it a little trying to make her feel relaxed..
They reached khurana house while geet was sleeping the whole way, tired from all days events.. and maan was busy gazing at her face in the dimmed light of the car.. her face looking all the more beautiful and adorable with her nose and cheeks red due to all crying.. her one hand holding his hand tightly and the other wound around his arm peacefully sleeping on his shoulder..
He looked at their entwined hands and smiled.. looking at her serene face, he brought her hands to his lips and kissed it faintly when he felt her shiver slightly, he looked at her face to find her gazing at him with those cute almond eyes..
Geet had woken up when she felt the jerk as the car stopped..but she still rested on his shoulder, just enjoying his warmth..she was surprised when he kissed her and couldn't help but shiver as his lips touched the back of her hand..
Maan stared deep in her eyes not at all feeling startled for she caught him, geet lowered her eyes not being able to bear his intense and passionate gaze..
Maan left her hand and came out as pari knocked the cars door..and
helped geet come out in her heavy lahenga..maan moved forward with his friends.. and geet caressed her hand where he had kissed her and blushed deeply reviving the exquisite moment..
