The Downpour... Part 63

Geet was not ready for this sudden fall and she caught Maan so tight in fear of losing her balance. She could not open her shut eyes for minutes and when made it open, she found his charming face in front of her eyes, so close. She couldn't do anything but to stare him with so much engrossment. Her eyes were not able to leave his sight and her heart was beating like anything in reflex. His arms were holding her waist so tight and his lips had a smile which was showing his dominance on this moment.

"Geet, are you okay?'' He asked in whisper, made her come back in sense. She tried to move back but his hold would not let her go. She struggled but it forced Maan to tightened hold more. She tried to remove his hand from her waist but in return he tugged her more closely that made Geet stop her movement. She knew he would not make her free and so she turned face side in annoyance of failure.

Maan smiled. He held her chin and tried to make her look him but Geet shoved his hand. He again tried she again did same thing and finally he forcefully made her turn to him. She glared him fuming. Maan bent to her and whispered on her face,

"I'm sorry''

But it made no effect on her. She shoved her face from his hold.

"Baat bhi nahi karogi''

She didn't reply.

"Dekhogi bhi nahi meri taraf''

She twisted her lips.

"Kabhi bhi nahi?''

She remained silent.

Maan kissed her kissed suddenly and left her. Geet looked him shocked and found him holding his ears in sorry.

Geet heart melted little seeing him but then she held back her slipping anger. She turned to leave when he caught her hand and pulled to him. She fell back on him touching her back with his front. she twisted her hand to become freed but Maan enclosed his arms around her more filmily took her completely in his embrace from back that she could not even move even if would want to. She was strongly trapped between his arms which she loved but did not show.

Maan bent down and kept his face over her cheek caressed the place softly.

"I'm sorry Geet; I didn't want to hurt you. It was just a prank Jaan'

He slowly turned her face to him holding her cheek; she was upset he could see.

"Will you come with me out?'' He asked. Geet looked him surprised. She narrowed her eyes then straightened showing her disagreement.

"I don't want to go anywhere. Leave me'' she struggled.

Maan left her. She moved back and turned to leave,

"I promise Geet I will make you come with me!!'' He shouted.

"No Maan you cant'' She shouted back and runs out. She could not have crossed the main gate when heard his shout from back,

"Geet what you did!!!''

Confused Geet looked back and found him holding a wet document in hand. she glared him but till then Dadi had came hearing his shout as he was shouting standing out of her room.

"What happened Maan why are you shouting?'' SD asked in concern.

"Dadima see what Geet did. She spoiled my file which I had to take with me today in important meeting!!''

He smirked looking Geet who was dumbfounded with this lie. She widens her eyes in shock and could not close mouth in surprise.

"No Dadima I didn't do anything it was his fault!!!'' She came back running to defeat herself.

"Really Geet, what I did haa, tell me!!!''

She was getting more shock with his dominance. She could not say their moments to Dadi and so was stood there silent.

"Whatever Geet but now tell me what I do? I have to meet Mr. Chopra right now. Today is his daughter marriage and tomorrow he will leave for US, I have only one day for this meeting otherwise he would go back abroad for almost six months!!!'' He expressed gravity of his problem to Dadi. SD became lost in deep thought.

"What would you do maan?''

"Now I have only one option Dadima'

"And what's that?''

"If Geet comes with me so I can precede this meeting because she was the one who is working in this project. More than me she has knowledge what was in this file'' And he stare her. He very well knew that Geet couldn't refuse Dadi so he was sure for his win.

"Haa maan so what's problem here? Of course geet would go, right Beta'' She looked to Geet. Geet was in dilemma, she knew Maan was lying but couldn't expose him in front of Dadi and also couldn't refuse SD decision.

"Ya Dadima, I will go''

Maan smiled inward.

"Okay Geet, go and get ready'' Maan said and smiling left to his room leaving behind the fuming Geet again.

After 30 minutes,

Geet came out from shower. She was in her bathrobe and was very worried thinking what should wear. She knew it was party but she dint have any perfect dress for high society parties and she was going with MSK that was making her more nervous.

"Babaji I don't have any suitable dress what I do now'' She felt like cry and in between cursed Maan to trap her with him.

"One side he doesn't pacify me and other way make me more troubled, Babaji why can't you take my side even for one time''

She was busy in her own problem when heard someone knocked door. She startled and turned in hurry and found she was not closed the door. Worriedly she kept hand on mouth gasping and was about to run to make it shut, Maan appeared inside.

Maan stood rooted on spot when saw her clad in pink bathrobe which was coming till her knees and her opened wet hair was falling till her waist giving her the most inviting ability. His steps automatically started moving toward her but Geet couldn't move back. She was standing near opened wardrobe and now she had no space left to step back. She just tried to avoid his falling gaze over her inviting features and just was trying to control her running heartbeats.

Maan stopped just before her. Geet eyes met with him and saw a strange request in his eyes, it made her scare. She clutched her cloth over heart in nervousness but didn't stop him to come closer. His hand rose up to touch her face she closed eyes in anticipation and waited for his effective feels but it did not come. She opened eyes in confusion and saw Maan rose hand further and picked up a dress from wardrobe behind. He handed over the dress to her and smirked. Geet felt embaressed with her own weird behavior, she should be angry but here she was desiring to be loved by him.

She took dress and looked down. Maan turned to leave and turned back to her and whispered in her ear,

"You look beautiful in any dress Geet. You are my angle, MSK angle and no any dress can enhance your beauty more than what you yourself are!!'' He caressed her ear with his lips and released her.

"I am waiting for you outside Geet' he left.

His words were still echoing in her ears. A sweet smiled touched her lips and then cheek became scarlet in blush. She looked the dress it was a skin color simple saree with minimum works on its border but now it looked more beautiful because it had been touched by Maan.

She wore it, did little touch up with lip gloss and kohl and came out running, very eager to show him how she was looking but when she saw him standing near car, wearing black Armani suit along with white crispy shirt inside her breath stuck in throat. Her steps became slower than ever and she took extra time to reach him. Maan genuinely open door for her and she sat inside silently. Drive started. Geet knew that Maan was looking her only and she did not want to break his action. She was very happy finding him near and parsing with eyes yet somewhere she felt lack.

"Why doesn't he say something Babaji' she complained.

After little long silent drive they reached the venue. Geet was to come out when found his advanced hand before her. she looked him and then hold his hand and came out. Maan closed door. Geet walked ahead and maan followed her. When she was to enter in suddenly Maan eyes fell on her back where her blouse one hook was not closed. With concern he runs to Geet and tried to tell her but she was lost in looking place beauty, didn't hear him. No way maan could leave her like this, immediately he encircled his arm around her waist, the way it would hide her exposing skin. Geet startled, she looked him surprised and then around as everyone was looking then only. Before she could say something Mr. Chopra came and started talking with Maan. Geet tried to be freed but Maan hold become tighter. She was feeling awkward with this position with Maan in public like they were couple and their position attracted curious eyes of media and some clicked their pics.
