Part 1

Past To Remember

It was 30 minutes past midnight, when Maan came into his mansion, the doors were unlocked for him and he opened it and entered in, silently,

But he stopped shocked as he saw his Dadi maa waiting for him in the hall, "Dadi maa," He said as he looked at his watch and walked near her, "Dadi maa you are still awake, it's 12.30," Maan said worried,

"I know it's late, Mr.Maan Khurana," Dadi maa spoke in a stern voice and from that tone Maan could make out that she is damn upset, "Dadi maa," Maan tried to hold her but she stepped away,

"How many times I had told you, you are suppose to come home early and if you get late can't you call me and inform," Dadi maa asked her voice breaking down to crying, "Dadi maa please, I am not a kid,"

"Yes, your mom and dad too weren't kids either," Dadi maa said broken down as she sat on the sofa, Maan knew it was his mistake and he too sat down and held her shoulders, "one last time, I will not do it again, I promise," Maan said and Dadi maa wiped her tears and looked up,


"Maan, what's this, what happened," Dadi maa asked freaking out as she touched his forehead, Maan too touched his forehead and felt the blood, immediately he stood up and turned around, "o, Dadi maa, it's nothing just got myself hit on the door," Maan said trembling,

"Really?" Dadi maa asked with a doubted look, "Yes," Maan said turning around and looking into her eyes and she knew he wasn't lying, then Maan hugged her and asked her to go to sleep and walked away immediately,

"Maan, I need to talk to you," Dadi maa said behind him, "Can't it wait till the morning," Maan asked as he stopped, "No Maan, I have to talk to you now, when you are free, or else don't know when I will get the chance to speak with you, now a days you are so busy that even I had to get an appointment to speak with you," Dadi maa said frustrated,

"Ok, Ok," Maan said as he went to her and sat opposite to her, "Maan, we have a marriage function to attend, they are so close to us, we have to go," Dadi maa said and Maan looked down hunching his back and holding his chin,

"Ok Dadi maa, let me make the arrangements and I will ask Adi to accompany you," Maan said and got up, "Maan, you are my Grandson and not Adi, and last time even I asked you to accompany me for Breej's marriage and you said you have a meeting and now I checked with Adi, and found no meetings so you have to come, after all, Handa family is our close relatives,"

"Dadi maa, but I can't leave my businesses for four days and come there," Maan said without even turning back, "Maan, if your mom had be alive na, she would have made you come somehow, after all Geet is her favourite na," Dadi maa said in a pity tone,

Maan paused as he heard Geet's name, "Geet," He asked as he turned to face his Dadi maa, "Yes Maan, do you remember her," Dadi asked with a big smile,

"Not much," Maan replied thinking about her name, "Maan please, only this time, after that I will not call you for any function, please," She asked pleading and Maan couldn't refuse her plead, and he knew if he refuse she would get all sentimental,

"Ok, Dadi maa, I will come, but I can't spend four days and all, when is the marriage?" Maan asked and she said this Friday, "Ok Dadi maa, that means, you go tomorrow and I will join you on Wednesday night, ok," Maan said and Dadi maa too said ok, as she doesn't want to press it more,

"Thank god he accepted, atleast in this Marriage function, I would find a good bride for him, god please I am not asking anything more than this, please let him fall in love with a girl atleast in this function, if not love atleast like a girl, please," Dadi maa prayed,

Dadi Maa started her trip as soon as the morning sun started to shine high,

Everyone was so busy and the Handa mansion was beautifully decorated and Breej was standing outside, "Hey look at that corner, it looks blank, hang some flowers there, and," Breej paused as he saw a black Mercedes SUV, and as he saw Dadi maa got down from it, Breej rushed there,

"Dadi maa, welcome, welcome, Maa, Papa, look how is here," Breej shouted aloud and got Dadi maa's blessing,

"Always be happy Breej, how is your wife and others," Dadi maa asked and he said all are good, Dadi maa then turned to the securities accompanied her, "Get those gifts and keep inside, after that you all can go, and inform Maan that I reached safely,"

"Oh, welcome Savitri ji," Geet's grand paa came and welcomed Dadi maa and the whole family joined him and welcomed her, and took her in,

"Geet", Dadi maa said as she went in, "Dadi maa," Geet smiled big and rushed towards her and hugged her, and got her blessings, "always be happy dear," she blessed her,

"Geet you look so beautiful, oh, I can't believe my sweet little girl had grown up so fast and getting Married," Dadi maa said as she kissed Geet's forehead, "Dadi maa, if not for my marriage I would not have spoken with you, last time when you came for Breej Veer Ji's Marriage, you said you will stay here for one week but you went immediately after the marriage,"

Dadi maa held Geet's cute face with a smile, "Geet, Maan was alone in the home, at that time so only, but this time I promise I will be with you till you go to your In-Laws house, and this time I have no hurry as Maan too will be here," Dadi maa said and Geet's big eyes widen up,

"Maan Ji, Had come?" Geet asked surprised, "No, Not today Geet, but he promised he will be here on Wednesday night," Dadi maa said and Geet smiled big,
Though Geet had seen him only once, she still remember his big, clean and stern eyes and his confident and influential words in her mind, as Dadi maa went out, Geet sat down as they were applying her Mehandi and her thought flowed back taking her to the past,

It was October 2000, Geet was five years old and was in her relatives marriage function,

"oh so beautiful," she said with her big eyes shining bright and her cute lips smiling big, as she saw a butterfly and Geet went to catch the butterfly but it flew away inside the garden and she followed it, running behind it.

"Stop, stop, come back to me," she yelled at the butterfly and was running looking at it and so she missed the big pit before her and fall into it,

She was so small and the pit looked so big, Geet got scared as she saw the muddy walls around her and started to cry not knowing what to do, everyone was busy inside the house and there was no one there in the garden,

Geet was so scared and sat down and held her knees and started to cry, it's seemed so long, no one came by, Geet was so tired now even to cry, she was sobbing inside the pit not knowing what to do, holding her knees, and keeping her head on her knees,

Suddenly Geet heard a voice, "Hey, what the," and so Geet looked up and saw a boy standing there looking at her, seeing him Geet started to cry out loud, and the boy immediately covered his ears with both his hands unable to bear her scream,

"Chup," the boy yelled and Geet too closed her mouth immediately terrified of his voice, and looked up sobbing slightly, then the boy looked around and went away, Geet got scared seeing him walk away, but he came with a rope in his hand in few seconds and throw it on to the Pit,

And he held the rope and jumped in, Geet watching him with her wide eyes, the boy then pulled Geet, he then scooped her up with his one arm, "hold on to me, tightly," he said and Geet immediately held his neck tightly, and closed her eyes tightly,

She didn't know how he got up, "you can get down now," He said and Geet opened her eyes and looked at him and got down, then the boy kneed down before her, "are you ok, did you get hurt," the boy asked,

Geet nodded a no, "What is your Name?" The boy ask in a rough voice and he had no smile on his face, it scared her, yet Geet said her name, "My name, my name is Geet,"

"Look here Geet, why the hell where you crying there," He asked stressing his words, Geet looked at his hard face and spoke slowly, "I, I, got, fallen down, there," she pointed to the pit and turned and look at the boys face "and I, I, got scared and, and," she struggled to speak in fear and shock,

The boy held her little shoulders and looked into her clear eyes, "look, remember this, forever, crying will only make you weak, but not solve your problem, instead of sitting there and crying like that, you should have yelled for help,"

"when you are in trouble, you should try to get out of it and solve it, not cry like this, this will not help you, understand," the boy spoke aloud with confident and Geet listened to his words so carefully thought she didn't understand it fully, but nodded her head,

The boy then wiped the mud on her pink frock, and held her tiny hands and walked her to the house, "where is your family?" the boy asked and Geet looked around and say Breej standing with his friends, "Veer ji," Geet pointed to Breej,

"ok, then go to him," the boy said as he turned and Geet saw that the boys sherwani was also got the mud as he carried her up, so Geet rushed to him and stopped him, and pull his sherwani signaling him to bend down,

The boy to bend down and Geet wiped the mud from the sherwani with her little hands and smiled at the boy but he didn't smile back, "your name?" Geet asked slowly,

"Maan, Maan Singh Khurana," he said and raised his head and turned away, "I won't cry anymore, Maan ji," Geet said aloud making the boy to turn around, "I won't cry." Geet repeated her words,

"Good girl," He nodded with a small grin and Geet jumped up in joy seeing that and rushed away, though she didn't understand his words that time, when she grow up, she knew what he meant and it turned to her guidance words,

Whenever tears hit her eyes due to a problem, his words will echo in her ears, giving her strength and she would wipe her tears off and try to find the solution for the problem, his words had made a great impact on her mind, even without her knowledge,

The past memories was running like a film, after that she haven't seen him in real, but she used to see his face once in a while in magazines and TV interviews, his words never missed to create a impact in her heart,

Now as Dadi maa said he is coming, her heart started to beat high, "Maan, Maan Singh Khurana," his words echoed in her ears,

"Geet, what's your future husband's name, I need to write it na," the lady who was putting Mehandi asked, but Geet was in her flash back still, recollecting his words,

"Geet, his name," the lady asked a bit loud, "Maan, Maan Singh Khurana," Geet said the name which was echoing inside her mind still staying in her past,

Maan or Armaan

The whole Khurana Office stood up as Maan entered the Office floor, Pinky who was the receptionist of Khurana Office knew today wasn't gonna be a good day, "Good morning sir," she tried to smile as Maan passed her and she looked at the file on her table,

"God please, please, I don't wanna make him upset today too and get a curse," Pinky prayed as she took the file and stood there, waiting for her call,

As Maan entered the Cabin, Maan took his phone and pressed a button, "Adi come in," Maan voice was so strict and before Adi could say anything, he cut the call,

Adi from Maan's tone could make out Maan's not in a good mood today, "Oh God, don't know what's gonna happen," he thought as he took some files and went towards Maan's cabin,

Adi knocked the door twice, "Come in," Maan's voice made him to open the door and step in closing the door behind him, "Good Morning Maan Sir," Adi said looking down,

"Adi, whom do you work for, me or my Dadi maa," Maan yelled in his bossy voice, making Adi to step back even without his knowledge,


"You, you sir," Adi replied, still looking down, "then why the hell did you reveal my appointments and meeting details to my Dadi maa," Maan asked his anger busting out, "You know very well why she is doing this and you know that I don't like that, yet you are helping her"

Adi was speechless, he too liked Maan so much and know about him more than anyone else, Adi is the only person who has also see Maan's soft side, and he was so loyal to Khurana family, as his father and grandfather, and he respects Dadi maa so much and he would do anything to make her happy,

And Adi had taken all the risks of involving with Dadi maa in finding a bride for Maan, and had always caught red handed, yet like Dadi maa, Adi too haven't gave up, because he too wanted the best for Maan,

"Adi, I am asking you something," Maan yelled again as Adi didn't speak up, "Sorry sir," Adi said still looking down, and Maan can't keep his anger for Adi too long, looked at Adi's scared face and let out a huge breath and shook his head,

"What do we have today?" Maan asked and Adi took the phone and called Pinky in, Pinky came to Maan's cabin and knocked the door, and came in as Adi opened the door for her,

"Pinky, did you conform Maan sir's Meeting today with Rajeev Kapoor," Adi asked and Pinky started to say something but closed her mouth when Maan turned and looked at her,
"Pinky, what happened?" Adi asked seeing her tensed face and Pinky looked at Maan's eyes on her and was shaking up, "god he is not gonna like the news," she thought,

"Sir, the Meet was cancelled," Pinky said and both Adi and Maan looked at her shock, "Pinky, how can he cancel Maan sir's Meeting," Adi asked shocked and worried, Maan's face was turning red due to the anger in his mind, he never liked his meeting to be cancelled,

"Sir, sir, it's because Rajeev Kapoor is dead," Pinky finished her words, "What?" Maan said aloud in shock, "That's impossible," Maan said looking tensed,

"Sir, I called his office to conform the Meeting and his PA said that he had been found Dead in his farm house today morning," Pinky said slowly,

"He is Dead," Maan said shaking his head, "it's not possible," He thought, and both Pinky and Adi turned silent and was waiting for Maan's words, Maan held the chair and walked to and fro,

"Any news about Meera," Maan asked and both Adi and Pinky shook their heads a no, "Did you call her parents," Maan asked worried,

"Sir, I called them and spoke as an bank agent and asked for Meera, but no use sir, Meera was not there and they still think she is in Delhi, and still her house is locked here and her phone had been switched off," Adi said all the information's he had,

"Enough call our company detectives and ask them to find about her, she is my staff and I am responsible for her safety, understand, I need an positive answer soon," Maan said and Pinky and Adi both nodded their head,

"Adi you go to that Rajeev Kapoor's house representing our company, for the rituals" Maan said finally relaxing and Adi and Pinky went out, leaving Maan in his Cabin, "He is Dead" Maan thought as he sat in his chair and looking up,

In Handa Mansion, the preparation for the marriage was hitting its peak, "Dadi maa, Armaan's Family came," Geet's Mom informed to Dadi maa who was sitting with Geet and Chatting up, "ok, your Prince had come for you," Dadi maa said and Geet blushed and ran to her room,

The Dadi maa went with Geet's family and welcomed Armaan's Family, "Dadi maa, this is Armaan; and this is his Uncle and Aunty," Geet's Mom introduced, "And this is Savitri Ji, our Close and Importance Relation,"

Armaan smiled at Dadi maa and got her blessings, "always be Happy, and I know you will be because you are going to marry an angel," Dadi maa said and Armaan slightly blushed and everyone laughed,

Then they were all talking for few minutes, "Breej, take them to their room, they look tired, let them freshen up for the evening function," Geet's Grand paa said and Breej too did the same,


At night the function was so grandly arranged and everyone was gathering into the Handa mansion from inside and outside the village, singing and dancing programs was also arranged,

Geet was standing there looking at the party with her sister, "Rachi, where is this Reema, said she will come today," Geet asked looking at the crowd,

"Oh your sister cares about her friend who is not here and not about her would be, who is here," Armaan's voice made both Rachi and Geet turn around, Rachi then smiled and went away leaving them alone,

"Geet I had been looking for you all along and you are enjoying the party," Armaan said faking anger, " oh, you think I am enjoying the party without you, how could you?" Geet said looking at him with her cute smile,

And Armaan too smiled even without his knowledge, "Damn, Geet, I am always falling for you cute smile, ok, now tell me how are feeling right now," Armaan asked as he walked her with him to her room,

"I feel weird, I don't know to explain, happiness, Sadness, everything is mixed in my heart," Geet said as she stepped into her room with Armaan,

"Happiness, ok, but why sadness?" Armaan asked puzzled, "because I am gonna miss my family, my world, I don't know anything beyond this, and I never wanted too," Geet said as her tears raising from her eyes,
"Geet, please," He held her hands, "Look, I am not separating you from your family, I will never, whenever you want to see them you, I will take you here and you can stay here as long you wish, I won't compel you, don't worry about that,"

Geet looked at him and tried to smile between her tears, "I promise you, Geet, I promise you that I will never take you away from your family, I will not stand between you and your family, trust me, so no need to be sad," Armaan promised and the truth in his words made Geet smile,

"Geet, your Mehandi look so beautiful," Armaan said as he tried to change her mood, "Really," Geet smiled big back to her normal mood, "you like it, actually, your name is written in it and you are suppose to find it,"

"Oh really, that's easy, I can do it," Armaan said with a confident and Geet gave her hand to him and he caught her hand and looked at it, and searched for his name, as he searched for a long time he gave up, "ok Geet I give up, I can only find my half name," Armaan said and Geet smiled big,

"So you found your Half name, really," Geet asked with a grin, "yes, see, M, A, A, N," Armaan pointed out here and there in her palm and Geet too looked at it, with a smile, "I can't find my first letters A and R" He continued,

"Ok, I will say", Geet said and looked into her design and to her surprise she too can't find it, she was shocked, "what Geet, looks like you too can't find it, I think you said only my half name, and I think you can only have half of my heart" Armaan said with a smile,

But his words made Geet to struck up, just then she remembered what happened yesterday, "Oh My god what have I done, I was thinking about Maan ji and said his name to her, oh my god, how could I do such an big mistake," Geet thought, her face tensed up and her hands shivered,

"Geet, relax I was only kidding, don't get upset for this all, may be the lady didn't get you correctly and written like this, it's ok, ok, come on lets go down and enjoy the party ok, come on," Armaan said as he pulled Geet by her shoulders and walked her out,

"Why, why, why did you do like this, why did you make me do like this Baba ji, why, is it a bad omen or something," Geet said and caught Armaan's hand as he was holding her, and looked at him, he smiled and patted her shoulders,

Armaan looked down at Geet who was still upset, "Geet," he stopped as he look at her, "Will something bad happen, will we get married, or something will," Geet said feared and freaking out, "Geet, look, I am here, and we are going to get married and nothing can come between us, understand, relax," He said as he held her hands tightly and took her down,
Geet too walked down and was seeing her hand and a fear of unknown filled her heart, "Maan," she said to herself,

The Meeting of Maan and Geet

Maan was arranging the files in his briefcase when Adi came in, "Sir, everything is set for you to leave,"

"Adi, I will return on Saturday Afternoon, until then take care of the office and the ongoing projects, my absents must not create any difference in our work ok, and when I come back I want the fully documented files of the "Highways project", Got it," Maan said in his bossy tone and Adi nodded with a smile,

"And ah, Any news about Meera," Maan asked and Adi's smiled disappeared, "Sir, our guys had found some important information and they are moving forward, I hope you we will find out when you return from the trip," Adi said firmly,

"And I want it to be good and did you find out who is handling Rajeev's case," Maan said locking his briefcase, "Yes Sir, o, sir, your friend, Mr.Dayanand Shetty,"

Maan was shocked and surprised, "Daya, Means the case had been transferred to CID," Maan asked turning around, "then why the hell didn't you say this to me," Maan asked yelling high, Adi closed his eyes and looked down,

It took a few minutes to calm himself up, "ok, ok, follow that case too ok, and find Meera as soon as possible," Maan said calming himself and took his briefcase and walked away from his Cabin,

"Maan Sir, Take care," Adi said from behind as Maan crossed the door, Maan paused and turned towards Adi, "you too take care," Maan said as he turned and went away, Adi smiled as he knew how much ever Maan scolds him, he still loves and cares for him, that always had made Adi proud and special,

Maan packed his dress and sat inside his car, he called Dadi maa and informed that he had started and will reach within 10.00 that night,

Geet was sitting in her room, looking at her Mehandi, though Armaan had explained and said everything he can, still her heart was feeling disturbed, just the Dadi maa came in,

"Geet," Dadi maa's voice pulled her from her thought and Geet smiled up, "Geet, just now Maan called and said he will reach here soon, so do one thing, go and call Armaan here, I will introduce him to Maan," Dadi maa said and Geet to nodded and went away,

"Listen to me Meera, don't do anything stupid, everything is fine, once my wedding is over, I will come to Delhi and we can do this together, please Meera, please listen to me, you are my best friend na," Armaan was talking so seriously, when Geet reached his door step,

"Meera, I," Armaan stopped as he saw Geet standing near the door, "Geet," He was surprised, "Meera, will call you later," Armaan said and cut the call,


"Geet, why are you standing there, come in," Armaan said and Geet saw his tension "Is everything ok?" Geet asked still standing outside and Armaan too went outside, "Yes Geet, everything is fine, it's just Meera," Armaan started and looked at Geet's face,

"Leave it yar, will say you later, what are you doing here at this time," Armaan asked as he looked at his watch, and Geet said what Dadi maa said,

"You mean Mr. Maan Khurana is coming here, wow, Geet, I am a great fan of him, and you know Meera too," Armaan stopped as he thought he had spoken too much,

Armaan turned to see Geet big and shiny eyes looking at him deeply and he tried to give a smile, "Geet you go, I will be there,"

"Ji, are you ok," Geet asked worried and Armaan turned and he found difficult to tell a lie before her but still he can't say the truth, "Geet, I can't lie to you nor say the truth, but trust me, I am ok, and will say you everything soon, ok,"

Armaan's this honest answer made Geet happy and she went away with a smile and nod,

The people standing before the Handa mansion looked with a wonder when a row of three black Mercedes SUV's parked before the Handa Mansion, then three guys got down from the Car in the end and rushed and opened the car door, of the middle vehicle, and a guy with a black suit got down,

Everyone was looking at him in wonder while Breej who was waiting for him stepped forward, "Maan ji," He welcome Maan, "please come in," he said, "All elders had been gone to the nearby temple, will be back soon," Breej said with a smile and Maan just nodded as he removed his coolers,

"Ramu", Breej yelled and then a guy appeared with another, "you two take the bags and show Maan ji his room," Breej said to them, "Maan ji, you go and freshen up and before that everyone will come from the temple too, and if you need anything say to these guys they will be near you room only," Breej said with a smile and Maan nodded a ok,

Maan looked the Handa Mansion and the place was fully decorated and was beaming with happiness, he looked at the vehicles lined up there, Looks like no parking space, "Rishi, you go and stay in the hotel nearby and take the car with you and you guys too go and stay in the hotel itself," Maan said to his driver and the securities, and they nodded a yes and dropped the bags to the guys standing there and went away,

Maan walked behind that guys who was carrying his bag and went in to the room allotted for him,

When Maan refreshed and come out, the guys who was suppose to be standing outside his door was not seen, but Maan didn't care about that and went down, he really don't know where to find Dadi maa and the Place was empty except for the decorations,

Maan came down the stairs looking around and he suddenly stopped as he crossed a pillar, he felt that he saw someone, he slowly walked stepping backwards and looked in to the middle of the hall, A girl was standing there looking at the decorations,

Maan looked at her face, it was so beautiful, he looked at her eyes which was shining gold and her lips had a slight smile, she was gorgeous, and Maan never thought like this about any girl before, the happiness in her face somehow hit his heart and his lips had a grin even without his knowledge,

Like some kind of magic he was drawn into her and he walked forward just seeing at her dazzling big eyes, as he was seeing her without a blink, she too turned towards him and saw his glare, but that didn't change his reaction, then she said something but he wasn't listening,

Geet who had seen Maan staring at her, recognized him immediately and saw he was walking towards a closed door, just staring at her, she called out for him, "Ji, Ji," but he wasn't listening, and finally,

"Maan," she yelled and her voice made him to jerk and he felt he had been pulled out of some hypnotism, he saw the girl relaxing now with a smile and Maan turned front and thus he found he was just inch away for hitting on to the closed door, "Wait, that girl knows me," Maan thought and looked at the girl smiling at him and he walked towards her,


Geet was so happy to see him and she smiled big and her happiness was clearly shown on her face, "Ji, sorry, o, you weren't listening so only I called you by your name, sorry," Geet apologized as he came near her,

"Ji, Dadi maa is upstairs, in that room," Geet pointed to a room upstairs, and smiled, and turned to leave, suddenly she stopped after two steps and turned to see him, who was still looking at her with a puzzled look,

"Sorry again, you don't remember me right, I am Geet, Geet Handa" Geet said with a smile, and Maan was looking at her without a blink or smile, Geet then walked away, But Maan was still standing there unable to move,

"Dadi maa," Maan's called as he entered the room filled with ladies, "Maan, I was above to come to your room only, just now we came from the temple," Dadi maa said as he came in,

"This is my grandson, Maan", Dadi maa introduced and Maan wished them with respect,

"Maan Beta, Have this, puja Prasad" Geet's mom gave some flowers and a red cloth to Maan, Maan never believed in these things yet he didn't want to hurt their belief, so got it, "Keep this with you dear, this will help you find a nice bride for you, hope we will soon attend your marriage function too," Geet's mom said,


Maan thought he had enough, "Dadi maa, I will wait for you in my room," Maan said and went away, as coming down the stairs Maan saw Geet with a guy and they were smiling and seems so happy, from their reactions Maan could guess that he must be the bride groom of Geet,

They both stopped as they saw Maan, "Mr. Maan Khurana, I am Armaan, Geet's Bride Groom, it's a pleasure to meet you sir, I had heard so much about you," Armaan said with a excitement and let out his hand for a hand shake, "Hello," Maan shook his hands and Geet was smiling at them both,

"Yes dear, we went to the temple and the Pandit had give a Raksha for you and Geet, to tie in your wrist, it's for the bride and the groom, and if you tie it, they your marriage will happen without any problem and you both will live happily" Geet's mom said and Both Armaan and Geet smiled at each other,

"Rachi, give me the Raksha that pandit ji gave, for Geet and Armaan," Geet's mom asked and Rachi looked into the puja items, "here is Geet's" Rachi gave one Raksha to her mom, and "Jiju's" Rachi searched and found on Raksha and gave to her mom,

"Hey Rachi, not this one, don't you remember, Geet's Raksha will have Goddess Durga maa's imprint and Armaan's will have Lord Shiva's imprint, Geet's is here, look for Armaan's," Geet mom said and they were searching everywhere,

The sun hit Maan's face and he jumped from his bed and stretched his arms, then he went and freshened up, Maan then took his mobile and thought to call Adi, so he went out of his room and stood on the balcony and dialed Adi's number,

"Good Morning Maan sir," Adi wished as he took the call, and Maan turned around and his voice got stuck in his throat and he stood there holding the wall, looking down,

Down on the ground floor there was some rituals going on, all the ladies where there and Maan saw Geet sitting on a stool between them, she was looking so pretty, Maan forgot himself and stood there holding on to the wall,

"Maan sir, hello Maan sir," Adi's voice came up from the phone but Maan was too busy in looking at Geet, so Adi cut the phone, thinking that line must have faced some problem,

The ladies was applying haldi and doing the rituals and Geet was smiling with a shyness he face turned red as she blushed and girls was laughing up at her,

Maan was so into her, her shyness, her smile, her cute reactions, was so beautiful to watch, Maan had a little smile watching her and they poured milk and haldi mixture from her head,

The scene was mesmerizing for Maan, the white mixture gave a new shine to her glowing skin, it made Maan speechless, then they pulled the Dupatta on her head and keep Sindur on her head and her mom and sister hugged her, that made Geet to smile big, and without his knowledge Maan got a grin in his lips,

Then they took Geet in, yet Maan was still frozen, his phone's beeping sound pulled him back to the reality, he feel embarrassed, he felt caught, his heart was beating high, Maan cut the call without even seeing who called him,

He went inside his room and threw the phone on his bed, "what the hell am I thinking, why was I staring at her like that, what's happening to me," Maan thought as he caught his head and walked to and fro,

"She looked beautiful but," Maan thought but he stopped himself, "what the hell am I thinking, Beautiful? God, this place is making me mad, I wish this marriage function finishes soon and I would get away from here soon,"

Maan then took his phone and looked at Adi's missed call and called him.

Maan was checking his mails in the laptop, when his phone rang, "Dadi maa," he looked puzzled and took the call,

"Maan come down soon to the backyard, we have a special ceremony here, you need to see this, it's this village's practice," Dadi maa said with so much of excitement, that Maan couldn't refuse, Maan then closed his laptop and went down,

As Maan went down the whole village was standing inside Handa Mansion's backyard, it was so much of crowd and Maan was so not interested in going yet he went there,

As he went Breej came and welcomed him in to the gathering and Maan stood with Breej with his hands folded, then the ladies started to sing and they were rounding around the fire, which made Maan to remember his Camp fire, "Good I am missing my camping and hunting, should finish this function and go for a camping atleast for a week, this how is making me mad" Maan thought to himself,

As Maan can't take it anymore, he excused himself and went away, as he walked inside the house, he heard some noise. "Rachi, hold on tightly," Geet voice was echoing in the empty house,

Maan then walked towards the sound and he got stud as he saw Geet standing on a stool and trying to catch a butterfly sitting on the rose stick on the walls for decoration, "Rachi," Geet's mom's voice came up and so Rachi left Geet's stool and rushed away suddenly,

There was a silent surrounding them, except for their heart beat, either Maan nor Geet, took their eyes from each other nor tried to speak, Maan was holding her and Geet too was looking at him, without moving a bit.

Feeling safe she smiled a bit and Maan too smiled without his knowledge once again, don't know why but Geet didn't want to get down from his hold she wanted to be in his arms, and look at his face and Maan too without dropping her down was smiling at her,

"Geet Didi, are you ok," Rachi's voice pulled both Maan and Geet to reality, Maan then dropped her and Geet was feeling ashamed of herself, for the feeling she had just now, Maan too felt embarrassed, as he realized he was smiling at her for no reason,

"Thank you," Geet said as Maan turned around and Maan without turning back, said it's ok and went away,

"Damn what am I think, what's happening to me, why is my mind not working when she comes near me, god, soon, as soon as possible, I had to get away from this house and from that girl, hope she gets married soon," Maan thought as he went to the room,

"Maan what are you doing here, Sangeet function is going to start" Dadi maa said as she came inside Maan's room and stopped as she saw Maan's tensed face, "Maan, what happened, why are you tensed,"

"Dadi maa, it was your planning right, that you bought me here, so that my mind would get changed on the idea of marriage and I would get impressed on a girl," Maan said tensed and Dadi maa from his reaction, could see that his mind is disturbed and she wished that it must be because of some girl,

"Maan what happened, why are you speaking so tensed, like this, did something happened, did someone disturbed your mind," Dadi maa asked calmly trying to be casually, Maan was taken aback by the question, for a second Geet's big eyes and smile came before his eyes,

"No, No, no one can disturb my mind, I was just trying to think and find the reason for bring me here," Maan said trembling, "ok, then lets go down to the Sangeet function," Dadi maa asked and Maan nodded and went out immediately

"Oh my god, Maan listen to my words and he didn't reply, he must sure got disturbed by a girl, god, who is she, whoever she is, hope she provokes the love in his heart for her, god, please," Dadi maa prayed and went behind him,

Geet was feeling weird as they made her to sit with Armaan, "Geet, are you ok," Armaan asked as he saw Geet looking tensed,

"Geet, are you still worried about that "Raksha" the pandit gave, they should have missed it on the way, don't worry," Armaan said but Geet was thinking about her feeling she got when she was in Maan's arms,

"Geet," Armaan shook her hand and she looked at him, "What happened?" Armaan asked and Geet tried to smile, "Geet, it's our Sangeet, please, smile up," Armaan said and pressed her hand,

Geet finally relaxed and smiled up, then she too started to enjoy the dancing and singing there, "what the hell am I thinking, I am so foolish, he helped me, and" Geet thought about Maan and she tried to feel normal and get out of the weird feeling,

As they were dancing, Armaan pulled Geet too and started to dance with her, Maan who was seeing Armaan and Geet dancing stopped at the corner even and was looking at her, she was smiling and happily dancing with Armaan,

Maan felt happy seeing her smile and then he stood there, As Geet and Armaan was dancing forgetting the world around them, Geet suddenly tagged her leg inside a carpet and lost her balance and before she could fall, Maan held her by her waist,

Geet big eyes widen as she looked at him in shock and Maan's face was reaction less as usual,

Geet's heart started to beat fast and Maan was looking into her eyes and was holding her by her waist and pulled her up, but he didn't leave her waist and Geet who was holding his shoulders didn't leave it either,

All the others were busy in dancing and Armaan was dancing with Rachi and Reema and wasn't looking at Geet, Maan then slowly pulled his hands from her waist and Geet took her hands too and they both stood there without a word,

Geet looked at Maan, into his eyes and Maan turned around without a word and went away, Geet felt she did something wrong and was standing there looking at him disappearing upstairs,

Geet and Armaan's Marriage

The night was like hell to Maan, he hated the fact that he is been attracted to Geet, he didn't like it, he felt irritated and frustrated, he wanted to get away from this place, to his world, to his office,

Office, the thought made him paused a moment then he took his laptop and then took his mobile and called Adi, and started to discuss about his projects and clients, he was relaxed and feeling good, as he finished his long Conversation with Adi,

"Ok, I thinking I had been over reacting, she is going to get married tomorrow, and I am going to get back to my world, they why am I confusing with myself", Maan thought as he packed his Laptop in his bag and went to his wash room to freshen up,

And came out, and was staring at the dark sky, "till tomorrow morning", Maan thought as he looked up in the sky and he turned down to see the garden, and in between the lighted decoration, he saw Geet, standing alone,

Maan without a second thought went down and saw her crying, Maan saw her tears rolling down her cheeks and she was staring at the dark sky, Maan can't bear her sadness, Maan hated the tears but her tears gave him pain, he slowly went near her and stood behind and was looking at her,

Geet wiped her tears and looked at the lighted decorations, unaware of Maan standing behind her, "Geet" Maan's Voice made her to jerk a bit and she turned back, and looked at him shocked, "What happened, what are you doing her at this time," Maan asked calmly,

"Ji, o, I feel disturbed, so only, I feel like all my relationships with this village and my parents are gonna change from tomorrow, I will become an outside for them, and can come and go like a guest again but not as a daughter of this house, everything is gonna change from tomorrow, and," Geet spoke her heart and though she didn't want to cry, her tears flowed from her eyes,

"Geet, nothing is going to change, except you are going to get some additional relations, your family will always be your family, it doesn't matter whether you are near or far, and you should be happy that you are getting married to someone whom you love," Maan said in a firm tone,

Geet looked at him with a smile now, "I know that, but still my heart was feeling restless, I know I will be happy with Armaan and I know this is what I want," Geet said slightly blushing, "but still my mind is," Geet paused as she searched for the right word,

"Geet, mind is a weird thing, we can't exactly tell what it thinks, I think your mind is excited, that's all, tomorrow morning when your marriage is over you will not feel anything except the happiness," Maan said and his words gave Geet the strength and calmness,

"Now, go and sleep," Maan ordered and Geet turned and walked away, and as she climbed the stairs, "Thank you, thank you so much," Geet said and Maan looked at her and nodded once and they both went to their rooms,

Maan's mind was so peaceful now, his conversation with Geet made him more relaxed, Maan then slept well, till the morning sun wakes him up,

"Oh, hope this drama of yours get over soon," Maan said as he got the sherwani from Dadi maa's hands and went inside the washroom,

When he came out, Dadi maa smiled big, "oh, look at you, how royal you are looking, oh god, no one should keep their bad eyes on my Maan," Dadi maa said with a Big smile, "ok, Maan come down soon, I will go now," Dadi maa said as she went down,

"God, Dadi maa, now a day she is turning into a drama queen, don't know what all she will do," Maan smiled thinking about his Dadi maa, Maan got ready and was walking away from his room,

"Geet you look fabulous, oh my god," Reema's voice was high and this made Maan to stop for a second, he want to see how Geet looks, without giving much thought Maan went to room and it was locked, he turned around and he saw an open window and so he went and looked through it,

Maan was mesmerized as he looked inside, Geet was already in her bridal look, her eyes dazzling like a gold, clear as an ocean, her lips wearing a smile with a blush, making her skin glow pink, the jewels were adding beauty to her,

Maan's eyes was fixed at her face, and her red bridal wear was making her look like a angel, so divine and beautiful, Maan forced his eyes to get away from her, and he looked away,

"Hope she is always happy like this," Maan thought as he stepped away, just then his phone rang, and it was Adi,

"Sir, just now I got the information that Mr.Dayanand Shetty had found the Killer of Rajeev Kapoor and he had started to get him," Adi said in one breath, "who is that, who is the killer," Maan asked nervously,

"Sir, that was so confidential only Mr.Daya's team will know about it," Adi said and Maan said an ok and cut the call, "Daya found the truth, then why didn't he call me," Maan thought as he walked back to his room,

Downstairs everything was set ready; Armaan was sitting before the Agni and doing the rituals as the pandit ji had told, then they bought Geet to the wedding stage and made her to sit near Armaan, Geet looked at Armaan and Smiled abit with shyness,

Dadi maa looked around to see Maan, who was not down here, Then the pandit asked Armaan and Geet to exchange the Varmala and Jaimala and Geet and Armaan stood up and exchange the mala and sat down, and the rituals continued,

"Now, for Kanyadaan, Bride's Father and Mother come here," the pandit called and Geet's father and mother came up,

Then the pandit asked Geet's parents to take her hand and keep on Armaan's hand and they too nodded and took her hand and went to kept it on Armaan's hand,

"Stop it," A voice came from behind and everyone stopped, "this Marriage is over," the Man who was standing there said in his bold voice, Breej who was standing on the stage, jumped down, and went towards the guy and caught his collar,

"How dare you stop my Sister's Wedding," Breej shook him holding his collars, "I am saving your sister's life," The guy said and Breej looked at him puzzled, then the guys shook off Breej's hand and turned to Armaan,

"Your groom is a murderer, he is a killer," the voice said, Making everyone to go into shock, everyone turned to Armaan, who now stoop up and looked at Geet, Geet was totally shocked and she too stood up and looked at him,

Armaan shook his head a no and Geet knew he would not have, "Daya," Dadi maa's voice made everyone to turn towards her and Daya too looked at her, "Dadi maa, you, here," he was surprised to see her,

"what are you saying, don't you realize you are spoiling a girl's life," Dadi maa asked and Daya went near her, "Actually I am saving her, trust me Dadi maa, he is a killer and I have all the evidence,"

Maan who come down the steps found something weird and looked that everyone is standing and it was quite, he came forward to see what's going on, and he stopped shocked as he saw Daya, "what the hell," Maan asked as he went to Daya, and Daya who saw Maan smiled and went to him,

"Maan, you too here, well that's good, he is the guys who killed, Mr. Rajeev Kapoor," Daya words made Maan to go into a shock, "what, Armaan," Maan turned to Armaan and then to Daya, "but why,"

"Meera," Daya's words Made Maan to get a shock, "where is Meera," Maan asked and Daya turned to Armaan, "that only he can say,"


"Daya, there is something wrong, Armaan is not the killer, he can't be," Maan argued, "I am sorry Maan, all the evidence say he is, I can't do anything, I have to arrest him now," Daya said firmly,

"Daya, can't you wait for a few minutes, till the marriage gets over," Maan asked and Daya was surprised, "Maan, he is a killer and you want her to get married to him," Daya asked,

"what if he isn't" Maan argued, "what is he is, Maan, do you really want to take a chance with her life, if you want that then I have no problem, as you wish and if he is proven guilty then her life is gone, think of that too" Daya said raising his hands in surrenders and leaving Maan to decide,

Maan was confused, it's not a business decision, it's life, he can't be sure, he looked at Geet, who was looking shell shocked and crying high, her mother and her whole family crying and looking tensed, Armaan was standing there with his head held down, then he turned to Dadi maa,

Dadi maa went to Geet's grand paa, who cried holding her, Maan looked at Armaan, "say something Armaan, and say you didn't kill him, I will do everything to help you" Maan said but Armaan stood silently,

"See Maan, he himself feels guilty" Daya said and Maan stepped back, Daya patted on Maan's shoulder and asked Armaan to get down, Armaan looked at Geet, who was looking at him with her teary eyes,

"Geet, I am not guilty and I can't say the truth, either, I am sorry, I am sorry," He said and stepped down and went away with Daya, Geet saw him go and she broken down in to pieces, her dreams had been shattered before her eyes, she can't bear that, there was silent for a few seconds,

Geet's mom touched her shoulder and she broken down into huge tears, "Maa, Maa, he is gonna maa, Armaan," she cried hugging her mom and Maan seeing this felt so helpless, he really don't know who he will solve this problem,

After that Armaan's family too went away, after asking for forgiveness for what happened, Maan was now worried about Geet, as he saw her crying,
