The Downpour... Part 19

After Annie leaving, Maan resumed reading the file. As he saw her address, it seemed quite familiar, like had been there or heard about this place before. ''But when? " He started to think intensely and suddenly came to conclusion that it was same place where Annie had lost her things!

He recalled everything, what had occurred, that how he used to follow that auto!

"Geet had also told that someone would have followed her. Was this two have any connection??''

He immediately called the guy who had helped Maan to catch driver. Maan gave him address and told to find out who lives there now and also detail about that driver, where he used to work and for whom. Guy asked for some time and called back within hour and said it is Mr. Handa house and he was the same who had hired driver for her daughter, named Geet.

Now everything was clear. "So she was Geet!'. He remember once how she had ran away seeing him.

"I mean I had been following driver and Geet thought that I was behind her!!! Omg!!! And that's why she started fearing me thinking I would trouble her????''

"Geet you're really crazy!!!!'' Maan smiled shaking head. "I knew.. I knew everything was only just a misunderstanding''

He laughed out loud.

Geet did unlock the door and stepped in. she was deeply immersed in thoughts what had just got from Annie. Everything she heard took her memory to the travel of long journey of past and everything becoming clearer. Yes, indeed she had seen Maan calling her, following her but never had seen him crossing her path or troubling her physically. If he would want, could have done anything with her, such great power he has but never he touched her, even never tried to come in her way! Never troubled her parents also

'And it means, he never meant to trouble me''

She laughed.

"Omg Geet you're such a crazy girl''

She was very happy, wanted to dance in joy. After long she was feeling so light. A heavy burden had been removed from her heart and now it could beat in so much peace!

"Babaji, how mad I was!!!!'' Geet laughed, twirled in happiness.

"Geet you're really mad'' Maan laughed, rested head on chair, feeling so contended.

"Maan was never behind me, he never wanted to hurt me!!!'' She was laughing like mad.

"Not in my dream I can think to make you in trouble Geet. How easily you said you hated me but it strained my heart'' He could still feel the pain of her words.

" I think that messages were also being sent was someone else but not you. I know you will find it out soon, you had promised me"

"And you don't need to think about those messages Geet. I have promised you I will do everything, alright, in your life''

"I'm sorry Maan. Waise sach batau, I'm happy that it was you. Don't know why but now I feel it'' Geet self-talked smiling. "Perhaps, somewhere my heart knew you would never hurt me''

"Geet, I am happy that it was me. I am happy that I was in your life since long rather being your fear but still, I had been in your mind, your heart, your souls, in your life, in your everything!! It was me and me only'' Maan stood up and came to window. In glass of window he imagined Geet, fearing, crying, and hating him. But it all was just because of him. Somewhere he liked it that he was the reason of her every emotion.

"I should do apologize him. I behaved like insane, shouted on him but he always helped me. Always gave me a feel that I was not alone. I think, I started liking you Maan!!!!''

"I love you Geet!!!!''

Both became numb! Could not move from where they were positioning. The realization was very extreme for them to accept at once and it came out in a way like electric current they would have felt. Their veins begun to throb inward of body and heart.. They could not feel any sense in it, like it had been frozen too, forgot how to work!

"What!!! What did I just say???? Is it really true?'' He came back in seat. "Maan please calm down!!!''

But it had no use. His heart had become mad in joy. He smiled, failing with his own effort to compose him. He saw Geet photo in file. He removed her pic from there and placed it in his wallet. After staring it for long kept wallet back in pocket.

"Geet what did you say??? You like him???'' Geet was so shocked.

"Haan then what's wrong in it tell me. He did help me; he never created any problem for me. Did you forget how you behaved with him still; he was worried for you only. Now if I say I like him, as a friend tell me where I'm wrong! Hm!!!'

She argued with her own thoughts. She was so happy and did not deny that he had started keeping a beautiful place in her heart and she welcomed him with her smile.

"But I will never try to take advantage of this feeling. I know he is my boss and will be always''

She wanted to call Maan and say sorry for her behavior, wanted to tell him truth right away, but then stopped thinking he must be busy in meetings. Her heart was restless to meet him.

"I want to meet you, right now!!!'' Maan was so eager to be near her, to tell her everything.

"I know you Geet you have faced so adversity but now you don't need to be worry for anything. He smirked. "I want to see your expression when you will come to know how stupid you are '' He laughed out loud. He was becoming like a child with naughty, playing and jumping heart.

"Well, that's not tough for Maan Singh Khurana to make plan to see you'' He smirked. In no delay he called the cook of his office canteen and told her something.

"I think she should get once checked by doctor also'' He called his family doctor and talked. After finishing everything he called Adi and ordered him to take both to Geet home.

Adi was so surprised seeing strange change in Maan. He was looking so exciting. His face was glowing.

"What happened to him!!!!' He was wandering. "Why is he taking so much interest in Geet?'' Well he gave break to his curious mind for some time and left to complete his task.

Geet heard door was being knocked. She opened it and found a stranger girl with a middle age man.

"Who are you''

Before they could reply Adi appeared from back and introduced them.

"Geet, it was Maan sir order''

"What!!'

She was surprised. Why he sent them, a doctor and maid!!!

"But Adi sir what I will do with them. I mean I don't need them''

"That you should ask to Maan sir only Geet"

He dialed Maan number and handed over phone to her.

Maan was so excited like a teenage boy. The new emotion took him away from the old world and new world, here everything was so different. Everything seemed beautiful like her hazel eyes. Everything was looking so colorful like the color of her cheeks and lips, soft and chromatic. Her smile he could feel on his own lips and the touch of her hair, it was all unforgettable feeling he had prized. The most wonderful world was around him filled with her every gesture.

And her voice which he was missing to hear, fulfilled when he got Adi call.

Holding his breath calmly, he spoke the very first word of their blooming relationship'

"Hello Geet''

"Maan sir.. ' Her sweet voice fell in his ear.

Geet was to talk further when found three pairs of eyes staring her curiously. She felt awkward. She desired for some loneliness.

"Adi sir here network is not clear, let me go and check in room''

She excused herself. She went in her room, away from everyone. Meanwhile she could hear Maan's rapid breathing and he was all silent.

"Why you are breathing so fast sir, are you okay!'' She innocently questioned making Maan all embarrassed. He had been lost hearing her. He laughed on his own state.

"No Geet I'm alright. Just got little tiredness''

"I had told you na sir, let me start job today. I could have helped you in managing meetings of yours''

Geet was surprised with her own behavior. How casually she was talking him. She cursed herself.

"I mean sir, you don't need to take much stress. It will affect your health''

Maan liked her care for him. Somewhere he was sacred for her feeling toward him but hearing her talks, little hope started arising.

"Why did you have call Geet''

"Sir, why did you send them? I mean that doctor and maid!'

"Geet don't take it personally, I have reason behind it that I will tell you when would meet you. And ya, please tell her to make something of my choice also, she knows what I like''

"It means you are also coming sir!!'' She asked surprisingly.

"Yes!!! Any problem??''

She shook head. How excited she was to meet him but now, her heart started working in extreme speed just with the feel of him, close to her.
