Geet laid on the bed like a dead soul ...looking into oblivion every moment of their closeness played back in her mind ..how he use to hold her close ...the warmth of his protective embrace ...the love she always saw in his eyes for her ...his transparency ...his innocence ...those childish demands ...meaningless talks ...and their last night together ...another tear trail left from the corner of her eyes but she never blinked instead curled into a ball feeling his touch all over again ...feeling someone squeezing her heart in their hands ...his lips on her ..those hands holding her close ...his warmth ..all burned her with agony ...she closed her eyes feeling him around her like a second skin still ...she could smell him ...could feel him ..and then those words ...

she was happy being the stone hearted practical woman she always was ...y he had to make her feel all those emotions that were alien to her ...even if the world would have stood against him she wouldn't have believe them but when he himself said all those cruel words ...she could process nothing ...her anger ...her pain all surfaced in front of him ...she couldn't believe she gave so much authority ...so much control on herself to a worthless person like him but then her heart still wanted all that to be false ...the heart that still loved him ...the stupid part of her body that she wanted to throw out of her system for being so illogical ...that guy himself accepted that he was there with some girl in the hotel room then y is this stupid heart still wanting it all to be false y ...
this struggle ...this pain ..this confusion made her immune to all her surroundings ... it was her anger that made her agree to this alliance ...she never heard what ever those people were saying yesterday morning ...all that was running in her mind was y maan betrayed her ...
all the while when she faced her father ...the guilt of misbehaving with him ...the anger of choosing a wrong person ...the pain of being betrayed dominated all her rational thoughts ..and here she is now broken ...shattered ..alone and suffering ..
geet sat up not being to breath ...her tears never stopped ...but seemed as if her heart will burst with pain ...she gasped in between her hiccups not being able to breath ..she clutched her throat in suffocation ...maan's word kept ringing in her ears ..

the voices growing louder ...scarier ...her tears never stopped and she stood up pacing the room madly trying to avoid those voices in her head and kept a hand on her ears but nothing seems to help ...she collided with the cup board and a dress fell from inside ...she wouldn't have cared a bit if that wasn't the same dress she had wore the day she became friends with maan ...
geet slid down along the door of the cupboard ...clutching the dress in her hand ..she closed her eyes tears streaming down while the happy time played back in her mind ..
FLASHBACK
It was her first year and maan was her senior ...and he had arranged a party for all the first years and his own classmates and friends ...initially she really wasn't interested besides she would never get permission for late night parties ...she never has gotten one ...but on the insistence of ridhima she tried her luck with a bit sifarish from simi aunty she did got permission ...the party was super cool ...she enjoyed so much for the first time ever ...armaan was behind ridhima and so maan also tagged along ...a smile adorned her lips now understanding it was to take her away from ridz so that armaan could spend some time alone with ridz ...geet had the best time of her life in those few hours with him ...he made her laugh her heart out ...she never knew she could dance so well or was him making her look good on the dance floor ...whatever it was she found her new friend a nice guy totally opposite to what she had been hearing about him but all became a real mess when the disc went under police raid ...geet was so shocked ...scarred seeing so many policemen manhandling her classmates ... maan and armaan made sure all girls were pushed back and were sent outside before the police arrest them but geet was arrested coz she was in the girls' room when police entered and maan didn't knew that she was still in the disc when he came outside with armaan and saw the police taking geet with them was when he saw her ...he cursed his negligence and called his dad to arrange for bail papers ...even though he did got geet bailed out as soon as the police reached the police station but geet never talked with him ...she was so angry ..at him at her ownself that all while during their drive from police station to her house she never said a word and maan ...well her silence was only drowning him in all the more guilt than he already was ...he couldn't explain her anything ...he just dropped her outside her house and when she was about to open the car's door he mustered all his courage and spoke his heart ...

But she never listened to him ...and ran inside ...she wasn't in a state of mind to hear any of his explanation and so she ran ..ran inside hiding her tears ..hiding her anger on herself from a stranger ..how stupid of her to have believed this guy in just a matter of few hours ...
The next day she was avoiding each and every damn person ...angry on everyone ...ridhima for convincing her for that stupid party ..n that moron for making go through that police fiasco ...just when she was waling in the corridor to reach her class room she heard some loud noises ...curious she walked up to the empty room and saw Maan and RV in there ...

But before she could understand anything tai gi and mohinder handa walked in her room with broad smiles on there faces ..geet wiped her face and stood up ..
