i became so serious when geet was telling her story
harsh truth of Indian society's woman that they still face domestic violence and thinks life is better than what other women r facing
Geet is right to say that she was indeed lucky to get parents like Mohinder n Rano who doesn't differentiate b/w a boy n girl
her daarji is such an orthodox. just because her father has two girl n a son who is physically handicapped, he treats his son like shit. i want to give a salute to mohinder for whatever he did for his daughters.
even though geet's husband was none less than a beast who use to beat her, force her every night , she still thinks he is better than other men as she had DIGNITY, SAFETY & SECURITY till d time he was with her. u know this is a main problem in indian women's that they think (or they made believe) that their husband is superior or say GOD(What d hell. he is a human dammit) But for this thinking geet is not d one to be blamed. its d people around her who made her think like that.
and the thing which still exist in our society is that women r blamed for their Husband's death. i mean what was her mistake if her husband died? d taunts people gave her thinking her as a curse for their home, it is way too much.
but what to do people r bind tot his thinking that WHATEVER BAD HAPPEN WOMEN R D ONE TO BE BLAMED. don't know society will ever change their mindset or not...
PS. phew... itna bada comment likh dala maine!!!! i realize it now. but its my POV towards this update n towards society norms...
